While I waited for callbacks from two of them, I noticed I had a broken torsion spring, and that replacement looked too tricky for me to attempt. Fortunately, I saw Bob's number here on Yelp. I left a message at 3:00 Sunday afternoon when Yelp said he was closed, and he called me back, saying he was available at 9:00 the next morning. Not only did he arrive 20 minutes early, but he did a very thorough job in an hour and a half. He replaced both springs and the central bearing, refastened the motor to my garage ceiling, replaced both drums and cables, tidied up the cabling and sprayed every moving part with a special garage door lubricant. The parts he stocks are noticeably better than what I would have picked up at Home Depot. His price was very reasonable as well.
