VERY professional, best local quote for a 10x14 pool deck we had installed Spring 2017! Dwayne was courteous and his workers polite and ALWAYS prompt. He explained the entire contract in detail, including deposit and final payment. He welcomed other quotes and told us he would beat them. This company is licensed, bonded and insured....something important to us. He always returned emails or phone calls within a day. He even worked with us when we decided to change the plans on him last minute! GREAT customer service and GREAT labor work. I not only recommend them, I will use their services if needed again! We recently had On The Level replace six 5" x 5" vinyl fencing support posts around our pool. The previous owner of our home had installed the fencing himself, and he clearly had no idea what he was doing! Over the winter, all of the support posts broke, and our fence was about to fall over! The owner of On the Level came out in a timely manner, and he provided us with a very reasonable quote. My interactions with the owner were always pleasant. He returned calls and texts in a timely manner as well. The employees that he sent out to complete the job were prepared, knowledgeable, and professional. My husband is knowledgeable in regards to home maintenance, and he has an extensive background in construction. He could have done this job himself, but since his time is limited, he decided to hire someone instead. With that being said, he is difficult to please, and he always wants the job done correctly. He was very impressed with the work that was done. The employees from On The Level were personable, and by speaking with them, my husband could tell that they knew what they were doing. They even left the job site clean, and they never cut corners. The job was more difficult than anyone had anticipated, and it took more time. We were never asked to pay additional fees. The owner stood by his quote, even though his employees had to spend more time here than anticipated. We would hire this company again without question. I had a terrible experience with this company. I wouldn't even call them a company, they are so unprofessional. I have never met a more flaky organization in my life. The fact that Google Maps even eliminated them from the app should give you a reason for concern. I put up the required 70% deposit for materials and we scheduled a weekend to perform the work. The first excuse for not showing up was that they didn't have time to pick up the materials the day before. This was 2+ months after the initial deposit mind you. The second time they didn't show up, they didn't call or respond to any of my calls/texts. Convinced that they were trying to run away with my money, I requested a refund on my deposit. But instead of doing the right thing, Dwayne decided to ignore this request and drop off what he called materials on my property without my permission or knowledge he was even going to my property. More lies and excuses later, I then asked him to please pick up his materials since I had no need for their business, now that they broke their end of the contract. A few days later they returned to pick up the materials, or someone else driving down the street decided they could use it for their own fence project, lol. Either way, we'll be settling this in small claims court where I will undoubtedly win since I have all our communications via text or voicemail, including Dwayne calling me a dumbass. If you like dealing with small time criminals and being called names, give them a call!! Just don't look for them on Google Maps!! read more

These guys are great! They came recommended by a few different people, some family and friends that have used them for installing fences. They installed a rare fence system for me that other installers i contacted wouldn't even consider installing. Thought these guys never did it before they were up for the challenge and though it was different and probably more labor than a regular vinyl fence i think they still charged me about the same rate. Im in construction and i can tell when people are good at there trade and these guys are! We agreed on their initial price which was a good deal! And they kept their original start date that they gave me and once they started they got it done in a reasonable timeframe. They left the place cleaned up and looking good. Initially I was thrilled with the quote I was given by Dewayne at On the Level. It was 1000 dollars less than I was quoted on the same pressure treated wood fence from FFC fencing. You know what they say you get what you pay for. Once the fence was complete I had no major concerns it looked good and all in all was happy with the job. Fast forward 4 months my fence looks terrible. 16 broken or warped fence panels and 4 post that warped so bad the completely cracked the 2x4 bracing. Also the gate Is so warped that it will not open without extreme force. After many attempts to get them back out here to address the problem I have finally resorted to this bad review. I am told it's there busy season but they will get to me. Sounds to me like we already have your money and you are no longer a priority. FFC had no problem coming out to do an assessment. They informed me that there are grades of pressure treated wood and the grade that my fence is built out happens to be the lowest. According to them they only use kiln dried pressure treated wood that does not warp because it is already dried after the wood is pressure treated. All in all they have me a quote of 2200 to remove and replace the post and repair the remainder of the fence. And here I am still waiting for On the Level to even come look at it.
