The other shop said the new tire was defective and should be replaced prior to an alignment. Never took a shot at Tires plus. When I went to the tire plus store in okeechobee Steve said 1. Must be something wrong with your car. 2. He is no mechanic and wouldn't know what to look for. 3. There always short staffed there so it would be 3-4 hours before any one could even look at it. 4. Other shops want to blame the tire versus there shop. Asked than why does Firestone give warranties on tires . Drove 48 miles to another Tires plus store and within 1 and a half hours they replaced the DEFECTIVE tire for a minimal charge . This is probably the 4th or 5th poor experience I have had with the Okeechobee store. I will NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS TIRES PLUS AGAIN. After noticing some uneven wear on the tires I started checking the front end and realized my alignment was garbage and that's why my truck drove like crap. Brought it to total roadside, cost $300 for the alignment which is fair for these heavy trucks, they actually took the time to test drive it and make sure that they fixed the issues. People in the office were friendly and accommodating and the person working on my truck knew what they were doing which is hard to come by these days unfortunately. Walking past my tire I see a big ole screw jutting out and the air pressure is low according to me sensor - wonderful. Having had some negative experiences with the local tire shops who all want to sell you a new tire instead of a relatively cheap repair, I popped online for a search to see what the alternatives were and Perry Mobile Tire Service popped up. All the reviews looked promising so I gave them a call - James answered, we had a quick chat and he said he would be by in about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later that truck pulled up and we had a good conversation as he proceeded to repair my tire while the car was in my driveway- what more could you ask for?
