Then comes time for the movers to load us up from Margate, FL to NC. They were beyond professional, sweet, careful, and so kind to us. Asked questions along the way. Moved our personal belongings with such care. These two young men pictured with my mom were simply amazing!!!! Now for the unload in NC. The driver kept in touch with us from the time he loaded the truck up until delivery day.... keeping us updated on time line. We had two stops, and he handled everything perfectly. Even told my mom, relax I will put the bed together! We had a storage unit and I was afraid everything wouldn't fit, well he told me not to worry he's got it. And he did! The company failed to provide a delivery drop off date and time. When they called (the morning of…read moredrop off) we were expected to be there in one hour. Since we were not, we were charged a late fee (which we got out of) because of poor communication. The drivers told their boss they communicated with us - it was a lie. Their boss stated that he would look into it. When he called back, he told me directly he didn't do anything more and that nothing could be done. The delivery day was made worse because the movers did not communicate, they lied, and then they didn't repair the relationship. The credit card company denied my dispute because we signed saying it was delivered. I wouldn't recommend them - and here's why. Companies that get away with this behavior (when things don't go well) will do it to anyone. So, most things in our world work out as they are supposed to...but companies that are committed to being the best don't let experiences like mine occur without some sort of "we are really sorry about this, here is what we can do."

On 7/20/24 Safe and Easy Moving was hired to move me from my FL home to my home in GA. The movers…read morewere paid extra to box certain items in the move. During the move two items they boxed, my big screen tv and a Pampered Chef stoneware pan were damaged. The company has yet to pay for the damaged items despite it being stipulated in their contract because the movers (Wesley and another man) re entered my home after they should have been gone, and took money (which movers and company have admitted) from an ex that I was leaving- This is despite the fact they were at MY home and under contract with ME and NO authority was given to them to take direction from him. They destroyed a sofa that belonged to me (caught on a neighbor's ring camera) by moving it outside and dumping it upside down on the curb. The sofa was to stay in my FL home. The moving company have admitted the movers did this, but want to pay $.60/lb that their contract covers for damages during a move to property they are authorized to move, yet they had NO authorization to enter my home or move this piece of property. The only POA signed was for them to speak with my mother in GA. The company refuses to pay for the damages to the property I did authorize them to move because they said they want me to sign a non disclosure agreement about what they did and they won't pay until I agree to do that and accept their offer on the destruction of my non authorized property. This company has been given EVERY chance to make right by their contract and at this point, I just want to make sure no one else has to go through the horrible experience I have, and have for over a year.

I had an extremely stressful and expensive experience with this company and would not recommend…read morethem, especially for long-distance moves. They significantly underestimated the weight of our shipment, which resulted in over $6000 in unexpected additional charges after our belongings were already in transit. At that point, we had no realistic ability to change companies, leaving us financially trapped. During the move, multiple items were lost or damaged. Although we paid for full coverage insurance, we later learned that coverage was severely limited because we packed many of our own items. This limitation was not made clear in any meaningful or transparent way upfront. As a result, reimbursement covered only a small fraction of the actual loss, despite having paid for insurance. Because we were moving cross-country, my sister accepted delivery on our behalf. We later discovered that her signature was treated as confirmation that all items were received in good condition--despite the fact that no one can reasonably know what is missing or damaged until everything has been unpacked. This effectively removed our ability to hold the company accountable for missing items. Communication throughout the process was poor, inconsistent, and often belittling. Our delivery date was changed three times, causing significant disruption and stress. When concerns were raised, responses felt dismissive rather than supportive. At one point, communication became so adversarial that we were "legaled to death" instead of assisted. Notably, the case manager handling our situation was terminated during this process, which only added to the instability and confusion. What makes this especially disappointing is that we used this company once before, about four years ago, when they were a smaller operation. At that time, the experience was positive, transparent, and personable. Unfortunately, as the company has grown, the quality of service has declined while costs have increased. This was an overpriced, exhausting, and emotionally draining experience. I strongly caution anyone considering this company to thoroughly understand how estimates, insurance coverage, and liability limitations actually work before signing--because what is implied upfront may look very different once your belongings are already on the truck.

We also had water damage from a hole in the ceiling on the truck! They also didn't mention until moving day that they would load onto 2 smaller trucks and then move everything to a tractor trailer later on. The day of packing, the guys were also 3 hours late getting started, then later complained that "it was getting late" and talked poorly of us in Spanish, thinking we wouldn't understand. Now they have their Google reviews turned off!!! Just horrible. I filed a police report of course but nothing came of it. Karma is real and stealing from a child will come back on them!

The quote Tad, in the office, gave me was on point though the actual amount due wound up being greater because it took about an hour longer to complete the job (the size and complexity of disassembling and then reassembling my king-sized sleigh bed frame was the culprit). Overall, I was VERY pleased with their responsiveness, quickness and the friendliness of the movers (Roman and his partner) assigned to my job. I'd use them again for sure!

When I spoke with them on the phone, they set me up with a video call to get an exact price for the move.
