It is a big inconvenience having to need to use the bathroom and having to leave the property just to do so. I have spoken to the front office and was told that sometimes people leave the bathroom a mess but there are cameras on every corner of the building and on each floor so if the bathroom is vandalized it should be easy to know who did it. On countless occasions I have attempted to use the bathroom but to no avail and also to the disappointment of other renters as well who can be seen trying to hold themselves at the locked door. I'm hoping they solve this issue as this is a deal breaker. An available bathroom is a basic human need.
