So this is my 3rd time here and all I have to say is that the lady who took my order at the drive thru was super rude!!! I find this restaurant to have food. That is a cut above the typical diner their home fries have onions and bell peppers. Liberally laced in them and cooked well. Very tasty. All the omelettes are good that I and the sandwiches and other things as well waitresses are friendly restaurants, clean I highly recommend it over any other diner in town or in the area read more

Awesome spot to get a bite to eat. The food is excellent with amazing service. I love the fact that the servers check up on you multiple times to make sure everything is going well. I do my best to not be overly critical however having a lengthy career in the hospitality industry does elevate expectations. JJ's sets a great example on how a restaurant treats it's guest. I have a shellfish allergy and pick my restaurants carefully. I prefer going out for breakfast since the chances of interacting with shellfish are low. But this logic didn't help me earlier this week when my sister and I ordered omelets at this restaurant one morning. Everything tasted normal and very good, just like on previous times. Later on, however, I had a rash on half my body indicating I was exposed to shellfish. Since my order had nothing to do with shellfish, my best guess is the utensils, prep area, or cooking pans weren't cleaned between orders. I will now be scratching for weeks to come. 1st time here. Ordered club sandwich to share with my wife. The sandwich and fries were very good. Had a side order of chili cheese fries and that's where this visit went south. We were charged extra dollar for chili cheese fries because its part of the "drive thru" menu and not the dine in menu. Chili cheese fries looked good but definitely lacked flavor. You could tell instantly from 1st bite that it was chili from a can and not house made. Was definitely disappointed with that. We ended up leaving 80-90% of them. Won't be coming back. Today was my second time having brunch at this location. The first experience was wonderful, but today was awful. I understand the restaurant was busy, but we waited over 10 minutes before anyone took our order. To make matters worse, there was a hair on our machaca plate. Aside from posters of alcohol and none served here, there was Canned green beans, margarine (not butter) for the dinner roll and gravy that is clearly from an envelope... hospital cafeteria food at best. So disappointed. Cheap ingredients make for a bad meal. read more

We accidentally ended up here, thinking it was the other J&J's restaurant/cafe. Glad we made the mistake! The chicken parmesan was terrific, and the side salad was just the right size. This used to be my favorite place to have a meal .. the staff is always friendly.. until one day I ordered meatball soup .. I have meat ball soup many many times .. only not from here .. so I ordered a large bowel of meatball soup .. I thought that meatball soup is self explanatory.. that it contains MEAT .. as traditional meatballs is .. made .. after eating said soup .. about 35 min later my friend noticed I have some redness on my face .. didn't think anything of it .. until I got home about 5 min or so I'm feeling weird .. look in the mirror and I'm covered in hives my face and eyelids are swollen and face feels hot to the touch .. called up the restaurant and asked if the use SOY IN MEATBALL SOUP .. and Yes they do .. they didn't put that on the menu that it contains soy meatballs .. I guess they want to be cheap .. IAM EXTREMELY ALLERGIC. To soy .. family had to call 911 .. and off I go to the hospital.. they specify other things on menu like Mexican Benedict .. I wanna know who used soy in a Mexican meatball soup .. they need to put allergies on menus.. may be they are to cheap .. I could have lost my life .. it took over a week to recover they need to be held accountable.. Didn't even offer to refund my meal .. so for those out there whom thought your getting authentic albondigas .. well that's just not going to happen.. it not real meat .. to bad this might cost them .. it would had been way cheaper just to list the allergens on menu seriously how hard is that .. wonder how long it's going to take then to change their menus now ... makes me wonder what other stuff they're putting in your food !! They should have called it vegetarian albondigas !! May be there don't market it properly because people may not want to eat it !!! read more

Super skimpy tacos! The waitress pretty much threw my food at me and was not careful at all handling it. And almost she forgot my drink and to find out my soda was very flat. The salsa when having it with my tacos was very watered down. As if they water down the salsa to make the salsa last longer. I ordered the 10 dollar combo for tacos, it looks so nice and fulfilling in the picture but it was an absolute mess. I am absolutely hurt by this service. She didn't even give me my change. Never coming here again! Worse service I've gotten in town. Never come here unless you want bad service from your waitress. I don't get why this place is still up and running. read more

My friend and I went for breakfast a few days ago and as usual were greeted by our favorite waitress (the only one in this little hole in the wall). Service was prompt with coffee. Menus on the table right away. I ordered their California omelet with potatoes and freshly squeezed orange juice. My friend ordered eggs sunny side up, bacon and sourdough toast. My absolute favorite place for brunch! I love the Texas skillet! So good and big enough for two people. Their bar is pretty well Stocked and cocktails are really good.
