Got the HVAC issue repaired at a reputable local mechanic for $232. Oil pan gasket did not need replace nor a differential leak. Oh you tech that changed the oil 62610 didn't tighten properly and that leaked after service. I will never buy a vehicle from you due to your shady shop practices. Shame on your staff.

Recently my engine light came on while driving. I called Onstar who ran a diagnostic on my vehicle…read moreand gave me a code. Onstar explained what it could be from this code and recommended service at the dealer York. When I contacted Yorks service Dept I was told they would have to run a diagnostic test on my vehicle for a $140.00 even though I had the code from onstar! Ridiculous if they don't know this code then look it up! I pay for onstar just for this purpose. I've been a loyal customer for several years now. The first time I've had service with this new service manager I had to replace a fuel pump after contacting onstar. I was charged a diagnostic fee then even though onstar gave me the code. I also found out from the service manager that if I used flex fuel in my Impala than it ate the rubber seals in the pump as they don't make a seal that is resistant to flex fuel. Yet my Impala is a flex fuel vehicle and I should have not had to pay to get it fixed Chevrolet should have fixed it for free as it is not truly a flex fuel vehicle! I don't know how they get away with selling it as one! These two things makes me wonder how many vehicles sold as flex fuel from Chevrolet have fuel pump gaskets that can't handle flex fuel and the owners charged for a new pump that as well can't handle flex fuel! So after these two service episodes one I didn't go to. I will not pay for a diagnostic test when it's not needed! I will find another repair shop, more over another dealership to patronize.

Service Tech Jacob was the only person after 10,000 miles and 5 dealerships that took the time to properly trouble shoot my problem, locate the issue, and fix the problem. If I had a major problem in the future, I would drive 300 miles so Jacob could solve it, the first time. I have NEVER been so impressed with any dealership as I was with Diepholz!

We rode Greyhound to Effingham (round trip ticket was 58/person). The owner Dee Dee Muncy and her Bear Boyfriend picked us up at the "station" (it's a 24 hour pilot gas station and McDonalds combined). We rode back in a Kitty Kat, almost like a limo; very plush in the back seat. They drove us to their lot. Now let me tell ya, even though this is a buy here pay here place, IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT. They do NOT get cars from auctions. They have personal buyers that they deal with. Kinda classy to me. Well anyhoo, they have some really nice cars on the lot and there was our new child. My partner took it for a test drive while I stayed behind and already knew we were driving back to Chicago in it Saturday evening. And yes, we did!! If you go to their website, it'll show you the cars she has. Among the other clean and sharp vehicles, PLEASE check out the double black Chevy SS Turbocharged Monte Carlo with the spoiler, mag wheels and sunroof. If we had enough money we would have bought that too!! It's so awesome!! Dee Dee runs a VERY clean dealership. She and her Bear Boyfriend are super duper friendly. She was so worried that we had traveled over 200 miles and weren't going to like this car. We got the car for a song!!! And it's beautiful inside and out. It was EXACTLY what we wanted!!! It's easier to do cash really when you deal with her because if you do, she'll be so kewl and knock a few dollars off of it for ya!! There's no kind of pressure tactics, they don't follow you around the lot. She sets it all up and your plates/title will be mailed to you. And if you want something she doesn't have, she has a locator service that'll find it for ya. She also operates her own towing company. It was an auto buying experience that we truly treasured. We already decided when we need another vehicle, we'll take that bus trip down to her. We were not scared to get on the road and drive down I-57 in our growly monster. Her cars are completely reliable. I know it's a long way to go to buy an vehicle but you'll be so glad you did, and you won't leave their dealership all bummed out/disappointed. Unlike many other places, what you see on their website...that's EXACTLY the way it looks in person. Arm yourself with some cash for the transaction and get there!! Let me tell you, it's a day long experience but it's a GREAT ONE!!

I took my 2022 mini Cooper to them to trade,reason being my husband is unable to work and 2 years into this work com case, I was diagnosed with cancer. I needed to downgrade so that we didn't lose the car due to non payment issues. They gave me a good price for my car and we even received a little cash which helped to get us thru a month of no income. Unfortunately the car they sold me has been having issues since 3 weeks after I purchased it. I mean real problems. I have reached out on 2 different occasions and nothing!I realize I bought a used car ,2018 volkswagon suv. Never would I have imagined 3 weeks after owning it I am now stuck with a non reliable car. My husband and I have tons of doctors appts right now and I am just sooo disappointed with the vehicle they sold me. It should have actually been in the junk yard! I expected more, I assumed this vehicle had been went thru thoroughly before they would have sold it to some. Guess I was wrong. At this point I will never go back.
