I called JC auto after hours, send them some pictures and they immediately started to search for parts. Next morning I was in the shop early but one part was still in Indianapolis with no option for delivery. No problem, they jumped in the car and drove two hours ( in traffic) to Indianapolis and back ( in traffic). They charged me a pittance for the delivery. They stayed late to install the shaft and the u joints but by 7 pm I was driving my truck. And the axle is still working beautifully after a few months. The lobby was closed, as was the restroom, etc. It was like that EVERYWHERE. Such was to be expected. I also experienced the same SUPPLY CHAIN issues during that Covid period. I am not affiliated with One Stop, just so you know, and that review is totally OUT of context. I have a 20 year old truck. I have spent quite a bit of time and money there. One Stop has had PLENTY of opportunities to "hose me down", and they didn't do it. Any time. On my model of truck, the smallest thing can be a disaster. I had more than one issue that was caused by a 6" vacuum hose. They put a spare one on it, took 5 minutes to diagnose, and no charge. Another time, the lovely streets in this town busted my front end to bits, and they had the truck repaired in 24 hours. Labor is high right now, yes. So are parts. They're also sometimes hard to get. Deal with it, Folks. If you've never worked retail or customer service, you have no idea! Dale York and his son Josh are two of the most honest and respectable people I know. As I said, plenty of opp's have presented themselves for them to make a large, easy profit. And they didn't. One Stop is the only place that I allow to touch my truck now, unless I'm out of town! As I said, it's 20 years old now, and it probably wouldn't have made it this far without them.
