I did a lot of research and thought this company had a pretty good reputation. I needed my roof…read morerepaired and some drywall work for an insurance claim. I called them out for an estimate and they came with another roofing company (Flip Side roofing-they are great!!) and said they were interested in doing the drywall work. however after five calls and multiple texts I never heard back from them until I said I would need to find another company. I got a text back right away saying that was fine. If you say you're going to do a job, you should follow through. This happens so many times and I'm tired of these people wasting my time.

I would not, under any circumstances recommend Abingdon Contracting Services. Originally hired them…read moreto build a detached cinderblock garage. They represented themselves as a one stop shop for building and home improvements. So I also had them do some home improvements while building the garage. Nothing but disappointment and disaster all the way around. Just some highlights, starting with the garage. Poured way too much concrete, supposed to have had two 8x16 foot garage door openings. Opening is only 91 inches, not 96 inches. 8 foot door won't close properly. Had to custom order the entrance door. 3 of the 4 cinderblock walls cracked before roof was even put on. Didn't order enough trusses (14 short), the ones ordered were too big and had to cut them down to fit. On the house, installing siding, left exposed wood in many places. Installing hardwood floor there are exposed nails and drips and smears of construction glue on top of the flooring in every room. They never corrected problems when pointed out. What was supposed to be 2-3 month project, 7 months later nothing they were responsible for had been completed. Had to fire them and hire other contractors to come in to fix deficiencies and complete the work. Best decision I made out of the whole process!

Was told no problem and we would have estimate the next day as it was a common request. Several days passed, then a week and heard nothing. called office and got automated recording. Left a message and again crickets. Check out Omar on Better Business website as you will see this is a common issue. I was warned about this by one of their commercial customers who told me it all sounds great on the front end, but getting them back for repairs or modifications is another story. Can't really comment on the quality of their work as we are still waiting. I will update this review if they follow-up.

We live in an area that has snow, ice, and high winds; and the awnings have withstood these environmental conditions without a single issue. From the point of discussing our awning needs and ordering them through to the point of installation, the entire Omar team has been so pleasant and professional. They have met and exceeded our expectations in every detail of the design and construction of the awnings and have completed each project by (or ahead) of the planned installation date. Beau, Gordon, Savannah, Chris and the Omar installation team members are the simply the best!!

They said yes but there would be a $99.00 service fee for coming out to inspect the windows. I told them I would pay the fee when they showed up. They showed up and marked the bad windows. That was on 05/08/22. They said it would be 4 to 6 weeks before the new windows would be in for install. Weeks went by and I called only to be told that the ticket was not placed until 05/28/22 and it would be 4 to 6 weeks from that date. Well here it is 08/17/22 and still no windows. I called Bristol concrete for a quote on my new home. They had a man by the name of Lucas to call…read moreme. After 3 missed appointments he finally showed up at my house at about 7pm. He , myself and my wife went up to look at the site. the grading was all finished and a hole where the foundation walls had to be was done. Lucas looked at it and said it looked great. I gave him a print of what needed to be done and he said no problem and he could do an all included job for 700.00 a yard. we agreed that would be great. first quote was 78,000.00. I said what are you building here. He had made a mistake and came back with a quote of 15,400. we decided that we wanted a footer around the 28x24 pad and that came up to 25 yards and total of 17,400. He wanted 10,000 down and We agreed to this with the remaining due upon completion. Then it all went down hill from there. once he got his money he never showed again. A crew came by to start job. They over dug the site by 18 inches and Lucas wanted more money for this I said no. They put up the walls with no footer and he said that would work. I said no. they quit work and cut crew down to 2 people and worked for over a week to get ready for inspection. Well it failed so that set it back again. Finally got it inspected after Lucas and his partner came back at midnight to get ready for inspection. When it final came time to pour I asked about this huge void and Lucas said that was what the extra gravel i bought was for. 700.00 by the way. well Lucas was late and the filled the void with concrete. Now instead of a extra two yards I had to get two more thats four yards of concrete. He also made me pay for the concrete up front when we had agreed payment at completion. he also had to leave before job was done and demanded payment then. Threatened to come back and cut up my pad for pavers. At that time I ran him of and told him never to come back on my job. Now that I have removed the forms that they never came back to remove, I find that it is so out of level I will have to either but a block on top of the wall and level it that way or pour another 4" of concrete in top of the wall. That means more rebar and replacing all the anchors on the wall. Another 700.00 plus labor. Totally would not have happened if he would have done it right. Seriously considering giving to to a lawyer. By the time I get done fixing his screw up it will cost me in the neighborhood of 18,000. If anyone from this company wants to do a job for you run away fast. Do make things even worse they never came back to remove forms. We took them off and they never picked them up. Going to be a huge Bon fire. By then way this is there warranty. This is been a disaster and Bristol Concrete refuses to accept liability. they were who I called and they gave me to this guy.
