There are an amazing amount of trees in every direction. A short walk up the main hill and we located our perfect tree. Before we got back down to the main area one of the staff picked up our tree to bring it down to get wrapped. Great day and beautiful tree!

Benedict's has a large selection of shrubs, flowers, herbs and more! Everything was beautifully grown and cared for and the staff is excellent. There are open bags of mulch to help you decide what color and texture you want for a good price and they will help you load it right into your car. This will definitely be my go-to in the future. Make sure you say hi to all of the ducks, turkeys, chickens and peacocks!

Previous reviews are very old so I assume this is a new thing. There were two young people working and I don't think management expected the crowd. The young man kept taking orders but not helping to fill any. Then Im not quite sure he showed his co worker our order for two sundaes. I asked him about it after six orders for milkshakes taken after our orders were completed. He told me they are working on it. Finally, I had to stop the girl handing out milkshakes Then the young guy couldn't tell him where he wrote our order. So to save some time we gave our orders again. Shortt's has amazingly good ice cream. They just need management to get with their team and get a better system for larger groups. I noticed an important miss they were not taking names. After we had our sundaes I would hear them yell out chocolate milk shake or oreo milkshake and a few people saying thats me. Im sure Shortt's will have lots of continued customers once they get a better system for crowds in place. The ice cream is worth it.

The employee there took away the dead grass sods but the owner on the phone instructed casher that they don't do refund, which means you're out of luck as buyers if they sell you dead plants & grasses & flowers! I find it hard to believe that this local business can get away by ripping customers because trumbull/monroe is a very good community! Please do yourself a favor and save any potential headache by going to other nurseries in the area! unbelievable terrible customer services!

The knowledgeable staff are friendly and helpful. Oliver's is also community-minded. In my neighborhood, we are working to transform a vacant, overgrown, ugly lot into a nature preserve and bird sanctuary. Oliver's has been a true partner in this endeavor, providing native tress and shrubs that are well-adapted to the particulars of the space and lots of good advice about care, placement, etc.
