The flavor of the goat was fantastic though. The fufu was hot, fresh and super light. My DIL said the consistency reminded her of a bao bun and I think she nailed the description. They have brisket, brisket burnt ends, short plate (brontosaurus) ribs, and chuck short ribs. I've also had the pleasure of enjoying their seasoned baked beans (amazing) and their stuffed jalapenos.... huge jalapenos stuffed with cheese, cream cheese, fatty brisket, and wrapped in bacon. When you have 10 humble people in the kitchen/back room hanging around, you know you are in a good place where people treat you like family. The chicken fried steak was the worst of the bunch, but it still satisfied to the best of its ability. The pre-made gravy did justice to the somewhat tough and crisp steak. The grand total for a home-style feast? $20 for 2. That is why you cannot beat these types of meals.
