This is the most beautiful beef I've ever seen... look at my picture of the brisket. See that bright pink smoke ring?? It's seriously incredible! You cannot beat the quality or flavor of this beef. Right now you'll find Godspeed set up at local businesses around the mid-cities, getting the word out about their food. I found them at Turning Point Beer in Bedford. Otherwise, they cater. Call them! Hoping to see them open up a brick & mortar or a mobile food truck someday -- that'd be so rad. They have brisket, brisket burnt ends, short plate (brontosaurus) ribs, and chuck short ribs. I've also had the pleasure of enjoying their seasoned baked beans (amazing) and their stuffed jalapenos.... huge jalapenos stuffed with cheese, cream cheese, fatty brisket, and wrapped in bacon. Absolutely perfect, I want these every day. Unfortunately I can't indulge in the macaroni and cheese, but I can tell you it looks and smells insanely delicious! The food was fantastic. The brisket had a great taste and the BBQ sauce was absolutely delicious. They catered a Yelp event for us, that's why the portion was small. The regular portions we're much larger. I also had the beans and Mac n cheese. The beans were so good.that I drank the juice. Can't wait to try again. read more

This was great BBQ! I got the spooky turkey with the Carolina reaper pepper seasoning....wow! It's a slow burn so be sure to have milk or some kind alcohol to calm the heat. I also tried out their Texas twinkies. So they go all over DFW to find these pepper and let me tell y'all, they're huge jalapeños! The mix inside contains some of their charred brisket ends and cheese which plays well with the pepper. I also had a side of the smoked Mac n' Cheese and forgot to get a picture of it - I ate it all! Haha. The only thing I wish they had were a couple more side options. If you have a chance to try them out - do it! read more

Was searching for a new bbq place. Found God Speed bbq and wanted to try their brisket. I texted Gabriel the owner to see where his pop up was. However on this day he was out of town. He did let me know I could do a pre-order with him for next weekend. After he told me his price per pound I asked him to put me down for 6 pounds. He also hand delivers to you. Well the day came and he definitely delivered. I got 6 pounds of the most delicious brisket. There was a fabulous bark on the outside and beautiful pinkish smoke ring underneath. The brisket was so juicy and moist from the topside rendered fat. Gabriel is definitely a brisket craftsman. Give Gabriel a call or find one of his pop ups.
