The company owner "Freddy" seemed like a good choice to hire for our backyard landscaping project, but as the project went on, he became harder to contact and more reluctant to come back to finish the job properly. He "no showed" for his confirmed service appointments numerous times. He said he would personally provide instructions on how to operate the drip system he installed, which he did not. He said he would also provide guidance on how to operate the preexisting subterranean electrical lines for outdoor lighting additions, which he did not. And worst of all... the grass sod he installed did not take in numerous areas (see pics). Freddy repeatedly claimed he would come back to fix the browned and dead sod, but he never did. Text message after text message of unkept promises. He made sure he collected all the money we originally agreed to in the service contract though. Overall, Freddy proved to be an untrustworthy person who did not live up to his word. We ended up disappointed with his lack of professionalism in following through with his appointments, and we were very disappointed with his decision to abandon the project before it was finished properly. read more

They managed to trim up a tree that is maybe 50 feet tall and extremely overgrown and hauled out all the branches without breaking any of my landscape lights or halloween decorations. Price was reasonable and they came at a decent time. I can't complain at all. I would recommend this company. read more

Sorely disappointed. I reached out for service based on my neighbor's recommendation. I have tall trees that were shedding into my neighbor's pool and filter. My neighbor used this company before and said they did a good job cutting down a tree in his front yard. I reached out, they came and gave an estimate, and I agreed to the price. When they came on the day of the service, they stated that the trees were taller than anticipated and the ladder would only go up to the half-way mark, and they would not be able to cut them as previously agreed upon. However, they would prune up as far as they could and clean them up, and cut out the dead shedding areas of the trees that were falling into my neighbor's pool and filter system. They also agreed to cut some of my other trees in my yard since they were not able to accomplish the initial request. Not only did they do a half job of "cleaning up" the taller trees near the neighbor's fence, they also did a half job on the trees that were more reachable in the yard. And there is one bush I asked is they could cut back since it was growing really big and wide, and they totally BUTCHERED that (I've included pics). I spoke with Freddy directly as he dropped by the next day and he came across and a nice, stand-up guy. He said he understood my concerns, and he would have his team come back to finish the work. I paid him (my mistake) because he seemed like an upstanding business man. This all happened on a Thursday, his team was supposed to come back Friday. They did not. When I texted, he was apologetic and said he forgot (we all forget from time to time, so no biggie I thought). He said they would be there Monday. They were not. Then I texted him on Wednesday, he said they would be there by the end of the week. They were not. Here we are 5 weeks later, and still nothing. These are all facts. Deeply disappointed... read more

During the tropical storm, our front tree lost a big branch onto the roof. More troubling, an enormous tree in back was pulling the power lines back and forth. J and M was not the cheapest quote but they were the absolute right choice. They are licensed and insured and the team is very professional.
