My car was involved in an accident and was towed there. When I went to pick up my personal belonging there was a really expensive hat that was missing. I called the owner Jimmy to see if he could run back security camera to take a look. He then called the suspect and told him I called about my hat. They said they towed my truck because it was in visitor parking at my housing community on a Saturday I call the police and they told me it was towed Monday now why would I park in visitor parking and I pay for monthly. Then when I got my truck mysteriously my parking permit has vanished, interesting I since a cover up. Watch out for J&M towing. read more

Terrible place RIP OFF. My daughter was in a car accident and being young didn't realize when the CHP officer asked if she called tow truck and she said no when he offered to call she didn't realize it wouldn't be paid with her triple A membership then possibly. I told her on the phone to try to get them to leave. They refused said it would cost $225 either way as minimum of an hour as it was "hooked up". It was a 4 mile tow! Then at the place they took it I had given my credit card for the $225 (but WASN'T HAPPY- having triple A too) and I guess when I was outside the Collision place paid it as they knew my insurance would reimburse them. THEN, they charged the collision place $300 for the 4 miles. What happened to the over priced $225? Just up it. Then when the guy wouldn't answer the worker at the collision place told me he wouldn't say why it was more and when she asked for his name he wouldn't give it. If I could give this towing company zero stars I would. They overcharge you enormously. They say their towing price per hour is $175. Then they go and write my towing consisted of an hour and five minutes when it couldn't have been more then 45 minutes. They are scavengers waiting to prey on people who are already in a bad situation and gouge them for even more money! If you have no choice and use this company, make sure to ask them how much time it took for them to tow your car, and to ask if it's some sort of holiday where they charge you a gate fee of an additional $80+ when you want to take your car out. I already got screwed over. Hope this prevents you from getting charged unfairly also. read more

Our company vehicle (16' Flatbed Trailer) pulled off the freeway with a mechanical issue. One of the tires on the trailer was smoking. We parked the trailer in a large shopping center parking lot out of the way for approx 1 hour while our repair person was on his way to repair or retrieve. When we arrived back our vehicle was gone. Our driver noticed our trailer on a flatbed truck very close to where we parked it. Our driver confronted the tow truck driver and would not release vehicle. Had to follow driver back to there facility in Norco approx 15 miles away. Had to pay 370.00 to get our vehicle back. read more

Terrible experience with these guys, I wish I could leave a zero-star review because their business practices are illegal - they towed away a friend's car (it had a note because the car had some engine problems and he had to leave it at a restaurant's parking lot) and didn't even bother calling. When my friend managed to find out where his car was, the bill was already $800 and they didn't want to show us a receipt or explain further. They basically gave us three options: pay, give us the title of the car, or call a lawyer. Simple. They don't explain, they don't even allow you to see them when you go to their office in Norco (they have a black window). We went to the police and really hope someone can investigate the way they do business cause apparently they just drive around looking for cars and then charge whatever they want or they keep your car. This towing company is a complete fraud. My mom was on her way to take my special needs brother to his class in the park. She was coming out of her garage and an other car hits her and takes her bumber off. So my mom called the police and her insurance company. So than the next thing you know a tow truck appears. My dad and mom taught it was from the insurance and they asked J & M towing if it was from the insurance and they said yes. J & M towing gave my mom a paper to sign and she signed it. The paper was blank but than the guy goes into his truck and fills it out and than he gives the paper to my dad folded. My parents called the insurance once they saw the receipt and the insurance said they never sent the towing company. They are billing us a total of $2,456.00. First of all the van runs still and half of the van was already in my moms garage. So there was no need for this towing company. My parents taught it was from the insurance so they taught the van was going to be taken to the shop for repairs. My parents need their van fixed because like I said earlier in this paragraph I have a special needs brother that is wheelchair bound. J & M Towing is a Fraud and we are going to Report this Company. Beware these snakes . They work with swan lake mobile homes and have their own little system set up . I wish I could give them no stars . There's over 500 homes in the park and only offer like 20 visitor parking in the whole park . If you park in front of your own house for over 15 min they tow you and as soon as they have your car hooked they make you pay $220 on the spot just to lower your car back down . It's always the same skinny ass white boy w the stupid face . Don't use them for a tow service either . They can't be trusted . Towed vehicle without authorization from owner. Took advantage of a scared kid that had just been in his first accident. The car has AAA and State Farm and shouldn't have had to use them. No attempt made by tow company to ask if the car belonged to the driver or if they should be talking to the owner. Charges by the hour and is beyond exorbitant. Not like they care that they are unprofessional and pathetic but I'll give my 2 cents.. apparently they need it. Got towed less than a couple miles away and was charged 415. I was told on the phone to arrive before 5pm. I arrived 10-15 min before and the guy at the window was extremely rude. I said "I got here before 5 like I was told" and he said "that's not how it works" and slammed the window on my face. (What does that even mean? That's not how time works?? Lmao) I know he just did that so I would end up spending hundreds in "holding" fees until they opened Monday (this was on a Friday) Extremely unprofessional. I had to call the office and tell them how he was behaving. He finally opens the doors and doesn't apologize for acting like a total tool. Then goes on to tell me "you're lucky I didn't charge a gate fee".. really dude? You're lucky that everyday honest working people make mistakes sometimes or there would be no income. This is a crooked crooked business. These people roam parking lots looking for business. AND LIE! We pay for a reserved spot in our complex, they came and towed our vehicle from that spot claiming it was parked in guest parking...as if we don't know which spot we pay $25 a month for. Then they tell me it was picked up on a Saturday night when in fact the truck wasn't even in the lot that night, it was in the driveway and our other car was in the reserved spot. So I notify Corona PD, who by the way were useless, who state the company reported to them that the vehicle was towed on Monday morning about midnight. Odd right? So next we contact the towing company to come release our vehicle. We are charged only 1 days storage but claim they'd had it for 3. Why would they only charge for 1? They then charge for the actual tow, and $93 to release it after hours for a total of $ 425. Asked for a copy of the paperwork of the pick up. Took forever for them to produce that too. I will be seeing these crooked bastards in civil court! 1 star is a requirement to post and far more than they deserve. read more

Evil scam artists! I met 2 students at a cute little parking lot on Van Buren next to the bike path today to walk to the river bottom for a Science Fair project on water quality. .....today, a SUNDAY AFTERNOON! The well-kept lot is for runners, walkers, cyclists for the bike path. Or so you would think. There is a man at the far end sitting in a pickup truck. We walk down to the river and are taking samples when a cyclist stops to tell us that my car is being towed....10 minutes after we left it! We walk back to the lot and sure enough, there is a sign LEANING against the fence with a phone number for J and M Towing. I call and ask how to get my car back. The woman tells me it will cost me $434 and I can pick it up in Norco at the shop.........but that they are closed now. (WHAT?) I tell her that she has my purse, drivers license, AN D I NEED MY CAR NOW! This is a total scam between the owner of this VERY inviting parking lot next to the bike path and J and M Towing. How in the world does a driver pick up my car 10 minutes after I leave it? On a day that they are CLOSED!!!!! It was my students who noticed that the sign was simply leaning against the fence. HHmmmmmmmmmm................ A scam. We plan on fighting this to get our money back. Who is the owner of this lot? Absolute crooks, liars, and thieves. Charged me for 1.5 hours to tow my trailer from my apartment complex less than 6 miles away (10 minute drive). These people are shady and they know it. After showing my I.D. and registration, the lady tried to charge me over 1K saying that my trailer had been at their place for 12 days which it hadn't. Claimed that I was parked in the wrong spot yet could produce no proof of which spot they towed it from. When I finally did take possession of my trailer, it was damaged. Electrical connector for plugging in the trailer lights to my truck was missing and damaged. Jack stand was bent almost to the point that it wouldnt retract. When you go to this place, be prepared to do business through a black tinted window with a hole at the bottom which is clearly meant not only to keep you outside but also to keep you from seeing the face of the lady who is extorting your money. I want to say this that J&M towing is the most unprofessional business I have ever seen. Durat they tow my big rig way from Moreno Valley an hour away from their office then they couldn't give a reason to why they towed my big rig. Charges me 900 dollars stated their closed on weekends but was able to tow my truck on the weekend so had to wait til Monday to get my truck. Got to the place my big rig wouldn't start the owners who never came out just kept talking really rude to me over the intercom didn't want me to start my own damn truck in his yard told me I had to get off my truck and he wasn't gonna tell me one more time. Like I was his child mind you I already paid him the money to release my truck. But he didn't want me in his yard to get it started only allowed my husband in the yard which was very male shovanest to me. Sometimes u need two people to start it.
