On Friday, April 24, I had a confirmed appointment for 11AM. I made the appointment online. I have…read morea copy of the confirmation printed out in front of me. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that my appointment didn't show on the Waterville, Maine, computer. Therefore, they couldn't serve me, and I would have to make another appointment. Another person named Peggy had her appointment confirmed for that time. As far as I'm concerned, I should have been served because I was there, on time, and she was not. We both had appointments, the only difference being the computer entry. I did show the fellow the original email showing I had made the appointment, but at that time, I was a bit rattled and hadn't yet found the confirmation. The fellow did admit that he understood that I did have this appointment even though I didn't show him the actual confirmation. If he made a sincere apology for this problem, I certainly didn't hear it. I was simply to understand that the computer had made a mistake, and I was supposed to understand. I am a longtime customer of the Waterville Tire Warehouse, and hope to remain so. But I feel I should have at the very least received a sincere apology, and perhaps a coupon as compensation for my time lost. Generally, I would give Tire Warehouse an excellent rating, but this time they failed me and didn't respect the fact that my time is valuable too.

We took my wife's new SUV to VIP in Waterville for a plug as there was a small nail in the center…read moreof the tread they said that they could plug the tire we went back to get the car an hour or so later and drop my wife off and she came back to the house and showed me the receipt and they charged her $60 to put a plug in the center of the tire when I had already found the hole and marked it for them anywhere else a plug would cost between 8 and $15 they charged us for the plug and then another 40 something dollars for labor when it says a tire repair is a flat rate we will never return to VIP as they have done this before in the past !

I declined, before he could give me the price for 4 new all season tires. I guess $600 would be their price About 5 minutes later, I went to my dealer brand's garage, and the garage specialist put on his coat, gloves, repaired the hole, in less than 8 minutes, and pulled out a small nail, also present, but had not made its way through, unlike the first, filled the tire. Because I was out of town, the repair was FREE he told me. I took the spare wheel off, but the repaired one, and I drove back home, 5 hours later. The brand is always better than independent garages.

They seemed to have lots of time flexibility when I called in, and I was in and out within about 30 minutes! Again, super friendly, and very reasonable cost for the service I needed. Also PS to Colby students, they will come to campus and check your car in the lot/bring it down to their garage themselves if you need work done!
