Whatever you were not happy with, just say it out like a gentleman. I compensated you properly and have no regret. My other quote was only $100 for replacing the toilet, and I paid you $200, double the other quote, still gave you two days to follow up the job AFTER you apologized for not responding, then changed your mind and dropped the ball. Dropping the ball is totally okay, just say: "Sorry, i won't be able to help you", instead you are hiding behind your phone just ignoring the message, and chose to respond after posting the review. Bottom Line for customers: Be prepared to waste your time to start a project with him, because if he changed his mind, he will blaim it on you, and leave you hanging dry and high... You have to sit through a sales pitch and a long sales pitch about becoming a member of their "club" which they charge for monthly 2. You are no longer assurred of prompt service unless you are a club member. In fact, you are made to feel very much "not worth it" unless you belong to the club 3. Their charges are out of control. There is a $49.00 charge to "diagnose" the problem that by the way we already knew what the problem was - OK just stick a gun in my face and rob me of $49.00 or just call it what it is - we charge you nearly 50 dollars to show up 4. Their charges are ridiculous. They were here around 30 minutes and charged us $170.00 to replace the shut off valve and the water line leading to a commode along with the $49.00 for showing up making the total bill for that simple task a whopping $219.00! I absolutely am looking for a new plumber. This is not customer friendly. This is not honoring a very long-term relationship. BMF owner Joe Brawner understood the problem and the importance of fixing the leaks ASAP. The real problem was that, because the leaks hadn't caused any damage yet, the water was cut off at the meter, leaving us with no running water. Joe was called the afternoon of my move-in, and the next morning, Joe was there. He methodically identified the leaks and fixed them, then turned on the water to check for more leaks and fixed them. In about 7 hours, Joe had fixed multiple leaks, probably more than 7, and also tightened up and updated fixtures that needed a little work. We now have water to all three bathrooms, the utility room, and the kitchen, plus he installed our new dishwasher. Joe's assessment of the plumbing's current status was that a re-pipe of the supply side would be necessary due to 37-year-old CPVC lines that had become brittle with age. We were so pleased with the total bill for all the work that day (under $1K) that we are going to have Joe re-pipe our home this summer. From what I was told, Joe has done over 300 re-pipes in his long career. Lastly, we spent a lot of time just talking with Joe while he worked; he works very fast, and we found him to be a hard-working family man with a wonderful personality.
