Our first time here. The banana peppers appetizer was excellent, served with cocktail sauce and ranch. Very good hamburger with seasoned fries. The salmon was grilled properly and tasted great. Callie was super nice. Not very busy on a Tuesday, but to be expected. Really enjoyed the option for you to sit down in a booth or walk around and sit at the bar. Those bacon fries with cheese are so good. Like, lick your fingers and enjoy another drink good. read more

Just had lunch here, we was in Lexington for the afternoon, looking for someplace new and we found it. They have only been open for a year. The menu is very nice offering a good selection, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere is a really neat setup, having a bar that is separate from the restaurant, that you even notice it. I had the brisket and it was really good, their barbecue is something special, my wife had the chicken teriyaki bowl, we loved, if we're back in town, we'll be back, there's to much on their menu we'd like to try. read more

We went on Saturday night about 6:30 to watch the end of the UK game. This place was perfect! It has big tvs and a nice clean atmosphere. The place was full but there were still a few open tables fortunately. They had the garage doors open and it was a beautiful evening. I ordered a half of a Hot Brown and my wife got the Cajun pasta with blackened chicken. We both enjoyed the food very much. The vegetables in my wife's dish were very fresh and abundant. Food was great, nothing fancy just solid. We started off with the spinach artichoke dip, let's say the chips were fire. Fried Cod fingers were really really good & the red roasted potatoes were 10/10. West coast sliders highly recommend. Service was great and it's a great place to watch a game. The vibe is on point. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken. We ordered Hot Brown Fries as an appetizer and they were 10/10. The hubs ordered a smash burger and it was a 10/10. The onion rings were hand battered and fried to perfection. I ordered the catfish strips off the appetizer menu due to the huge portion of Hot Brown fries we had. Great food and drinks! We visited on a Saturday night but were seated quickly. We loved the open air seating on a pleasant evening. I ordered the Pixie Stick Martini (recommended by our server) and it was really good. I like sweet drinks. My husband and I shared wings, catfish fingers, and a half order Hot Brown. Everything was well prepared and the service was excellent. The Hot Brown portion was generous for a "half" and it tasted great. The wings and fried catfish were really good too. I agree with l other reviews that compliment the service but don't find the food to be anything special. Tonight was our first visit. We ordered onion rings for a side and they were cool and had so much thick batter. They were not crunchy. Also, the salad arrived after the meal even though the waitress even asked if we wanted it before the food. The salad was fresh and had a nice amount of toppings. I had to take most of it home because I didn't want the dinner to get cooler than it was. We hope the restaurant strives to get better and improve the quality of the food they serve. read more

The service was fabulous, very quick, friendly, we got sat right away for brunch on a Sunday. The food wasn't anything to write home about. It's pretty average. It's a nice clean open area, it's cozy and the food was definitely fresh. But to me, the bacon was all but microwaved. I would give it another try at the dinner hour, but brunch was not something I'd go and spend 60$ on again for a party of three. read more

Two visits to the new Hartland spot. We live nearby and were hoping to make this our go to for dinner, but my thoughts are mixed. For starters, the service is excellent, from hostesses to server they are friendly, pleasant and efficient. The environment, clean, kinda plain, but has a nice garage door that allows the feel of being outdoors, large TV screens and long bar. The food is where it gets tricky. First visit, I had the tacos with blackened shrimp. They were tasty, sufficient amount of shrimp, but a bit heavy on the sauce. My husband had the skillet which was very flavorful, but a bit greasy. Which leads me to our second visit, I had the quinoa bowl with blackened chicken as I thought it would be healthy. Not so, it was mostly couscous, very little quinoa, and it was very greasy. My husband had the pork chop, it was thick, but moist and flavorful. The red potatoes were good, but the broccoli tasted like it was simply steamed, not seasoned at all. On a positive note, the pecan pie was outstanding, I love that the pecans were broken up and not whole. So over all, JB Steele's is okay. The menu seems more aligned with burgers, fried chicken fingers, etc. not a good place for a full meal. But perhaps a good place for casual, fried food, burgers, kind of meals. read more

We've been here three times. Great service and great food. Highly recommended. One small drawback is the noise. It's really loud and probably need to find a way to dampen the noise. Thankfully, the food in service is so outstanding that it's still a good ROI. read more

I was a former regular at the old restaurant and I can't complain on the bar, but it was not designed for the old regulars. personally I just think it's an ugly set up. I have a friend that needs low top tables and there are none available in the bar and yet we do not like the cold sterile, dining room booths with the great big wall separating the dining room and the bar. Yes we'll probably be back. They did a great job making fried alligator, but I would not call it a neighborhood bar anymore. I also am regular patron at their other restaurants, but this is my neighborhood and I miss my neighborhood bar. read more

Had brunch at JB Steeles, and it was really good! Food, service, and the prices were all very good. I hope they keep this up, as it is a real asset to our neighborhood. The Benedict was great. After going with family for the first time, we were highly impressed, and we are anxious to go back and introduce to friends. The food was delicious, the service was awesome, and the ambiance was wonderful. We love the location and the ample parking. After dining for several years at the previous restaurant and not knowing what to expect, I can only say "WOW", an unbelievable change! Beautifully designed and much needed in that location. I live in the neighborhood and was excited to see what would replace the old Shamrocks. Tonight was my second try. The staff was friendly, prompt service and very helpful. However, the food was at best average and at worst inedible. I love French fries and what they supplied was a crime. I spoke to a manager and they use a spice blend that includes cayenne pepper. I couldn't eat the fries due to the heat. My wife ordered a W burger that was so soggy the bottom bun was falling apart. The onion rings were good, but that was about it. I never really liked Suggins, guess I shouldn't be surprised. I won't be back. read more
