They charged me for their bad installation over $450 just to fix their errors. The guy they sent out, no fault of his, said it happens all the time where the lines get dirt from cutting them in the first place and they are in too much of a hurry to clean them upon installation so they come back and make even more later! Our nearly 20 year old furnace heats a large commercial building. With winter coming on, it failed…read more Jim and his son came swiftly and, accompanied by a few curses for the lack of light and piles of tools in our furnace room, Jim reworked the furnace entrails and said it was still a good furnace, didn't need replacement just yet. Then he looked at the four "zones" that the original supplier put in, said they were confusing the furnace, and offered to fix the system, which he then did. After all these years, our old furnace is doing the very best job ever of keeping this old building and its huge lower half-basement level very evenly heated. We appreciate that he was willing to work on an old furnace, and when we need a new one, he's the man.

I can't say enough good things about Mike and his service. We had a chimney fire on a Saturday…read moremorning in a stove pipe from a wood stove: our source of heat on a 20 degree day. The firefighters removed the stove pipe from the wood stove to the ceiling 18 feet above and from the roof up to the chimney cap: they wanted to be sure that there was no fire anywhere. After the "all clear", we made four calls to find someone to put us back together: we needed heat. Two did not provide a return call. One could put us on a list. Mike called back within 30 minutes and was at our place within 90 minutes. Not really knowing the conditions of our place, he offered and brought special cleaning supplies for the fine dust of the ash and fire extinguisher. He assessed the situation and got to work. Not only was he professional and efficient, he was empathetic, personal and funny. We cleaned. He reassembled; was very thorough about being sure things went back together to ensure safety; taught us things about fire building and maintenance; and ensured that we had heat from the wood stove by 5pm. Mike will now be part of our annual wood stove maintenance program. We are very grateful to the fire fighters and Mike who took very good care of us in this emergency. Thanks Mike!
