I know of two women who brought their cars to Briarcliff in April 2016 and were not happy with the service they provided or the way they do business. Here are the following reasons why these two women were not happy: 1) The office asked them to bring a "check" to pay for the services performed on their cars (which they both refused to do - they paid by credit card.) 2) One of the ladies had an unauthorized charge on her bill for OVER $50 just for them to look at the car, they gave her some BullSxxt story on why the charge was there - Honestly, if it were me I would dispute the charge with my credit card company or bring them to Small Claims Court for services not authorized! 3) They had to ask the office to give them an itemized receipt for what the work that was performed on their cars. Briarcliff tried to hand them a bill with just the Total Payment Due. Crazy if you ask me. ***All and all, a note to Rob's former customers - Briacliff Auto IS NOT DOUBLE R! and you should do some Google research on your own about this new place before dropping your car off for servicing. He has worked on all of our cars. Sometimes the shop is overburdened with job and it might be hard to make an appointment, but this reflects his loyal customer base. Much to his credit, Steve has regularly counseled us out of making unnecessary or overly expensive repairs. He will regularly try to find ways to make this repair less costly. He is also honest about how much life a car or a particular part might have left in it. I trust him at his word. Posca Service Center is a good place to get your car worked on.
