Came after my 2003 Isuzu Axiom would not accelerate past 20 miles per hour. I'm VERY SKEPTICAL about mechanics, haven't had many positive experiences in the past. But I would DEFINATELY recommend this place to anyone having issues with their Transmission. My experience was positive and the car is running smooth. Junior was very professional in answering my questions regardless of how crazy they were.

I've taken my car there three times and told nothing was wrong, no charge (where else are you going to get that???). One (rare) time I took my car there and they put the left-sensor on, when the right sensor was the malfunctioning one - again, fixed no charge. Yes, a mechanic is going to be expensive, but taking your vehicle to someone disreputable is going to be even more expensive. Bert's has been family owned for 60+ years, and there's a reason - he takes care of his customers, AND their vehicles.

They are a small shop so if you don't call ahead it can take some time, but they use good quality parts, priced reasonably, and ultimately do good and thorough work. What's great is they explain exactly what they've found, why they're doing the things they propose and conduct themselves in such a way that they provide the right assurances you're not being taken advantage of. Being such a small spot, the only thing you'll want to consider is dropping your car off for any lengthier work as there's only a few seats outside where you can wait.
