The catastrophic oil leak required an expensive engine replacement. Even after learning of our experience, and knowing that we were without our family car due to his shop's obvious negligence, the owner then refused to cover the costs following his insurance carrier's denial of his claim. And his insurance company just told me that he did not have active coverage because he has been failing to make regular payments. That forced us to involve our own insurance in order to cover the $15k-plus worth of work. We just got it back, nearly a month after it broke down.
