The slings were well-done, however the positive aspects ended there. Chris also took a chair from my father-n-law's patio table set and to fix one of the straps along with 2 chaise lounges that needed new slings. As you can see in the picture below that the repair was subpar. After picking up our chaise lounge chairs to get to get new slings we get a text from Chris telling us he needs to do a welding repair and he's not going to charge us to do the repair because it was a pleasure speaking to me in person. Now, I am confused because there was no damage to the frame and inquired about what needed welded, He replied, "It happened during installation. Sometimes welds pop of frames. We usually charge for repairs." The possibility of welded never specified, so I'm thinking why would someone pay if it this happened during the repair? Secondly, he had told me that the price would be less if we paid cash and denied making that statement. I expressed that we really wanted my in-laws to see there patio done when they got home from a hospital stay. Chris picked up the chairs on April 27th and said May 18th should not be an issue. Now, on May 20th and then the 22nd I am asking if we can meet him at their house so get the furniture. No response, so I text and call again on the 23rd and 24th. Finally, he tells me Sunday, the 26th. He dropped the 2 chaise lounges off, one with the poor quality welding repair, and did not bring the chair that needed the strap repair. He said he would drop the missing chair off on June 1st. I ask if he could please be so kind to give an ETA so someone could be there because we didn't want my father-n-law to attempt to move anything. No response, just left it June 2nd in the entryway of their house. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for him. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your patio furniture needs. There are many other businesses that other better quality work and superior customer service. After paying $687 you would expect better quality work and communication. We had already referred 2 people who were going to use his service and after our experience they went elsewhere and suggested you do too!

We hired this upholstery company back in 2022 to create custom cushions for a very expensive…read morebuilt-in banquette that we had professionally constructed and painted. The owner and her staff came to install the cushions, and we paid in full at that time. Unfortunately, the installation method has caused ongoing damage and frustration. The cushions were attached by sticking Velcro directly onto the painted surface of the banquette and onto the backs of the cushions. There was no proper mounting system -- just adhesive Velcro. The Velcro was not applied straight, which caused visible rippling and uneven placement. Because of this, there is no way to remove the cushions for cleaning without ripping the Velcro off the painted surface. As a result, the paint has been repeatedly damaged when I've had to remove the cushions to wash them. Additionally, the fabric that was recommended and sold to us was not truly stain-resistant. Spot cleaning leaves visible marks, so the covers have to be fully removed and machine-washed to get stains out -- which makes the flawed Velcro installation even more problematic. For a custom project at this price point, we expected a more thoughtful installation solution and better guidance on fabric durability, especially for a frequently used family seating area. I would encourage anyone considering custom upholstery to ask detailed questions about installation methods and fabric performance before moving forward.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I hired Cerdas Upholstery to…read morereupholster my boat cushions and was told I could pay by credit card or Zelle. When I went to pick them up, the manager, Fernando, suddenly demanded cash only and refused to release the cushions. I offered to pay with both Zelle and credit card, as we had agreed, but they refused. I made multiple trips trying to resolve it and wasted over four hours of my time. When I offered to pay via Zelle -- as we had discussed -- both Fernando and his mother refused, raised their voices at me, and behaved in a way that made me feel threatened. I ultimately had to call the police, and only after the officers arrived did they finally agree to accept the Zelle payment and hand over the cushions. To make matters worse, the cushions were in terrible shape -- dirty, marked, with damaged vinyl, no skillset shown, don't know how to do piping, wasted materials -- and still extremely overpriced. They were supposed to make new piping with the vinyl I provided, but at pickup they stated they didn't know how. They put the old piping on, even though I specifically asked not to use the old one at drop off. The business also appears to operate with undocumented workers and shady business practices. The entire process was stressful, unprofessional, and needlessly hostile. I strongly advise avoiding Cerda's Upholstery. You can get better quality reupholstered boat cushions elsewhere for a fraction of the cost, without the aggravation or risk.
