Jeff did an absolutely amazing job! We contacted Jeff for a repair of our siding that was damaged in a weird wind gust. He was incredibly responsive and had excellent suggestions considering the rest of our siding was in good shape but is a material that's no longer used. His work was impeccable and very thorough, and he matched the existing siding flawlessly. His prices are very fair, especially for the quality and timeliness of his work. We mentioned we need to paint, and Jeff did a complete inspection of our exterior and showed us that the house didn't need to be painted, but could use a few repairs of some wood rot on a windowsill and some touch-ups. The next day, Jeff came back to paint the siding, paint a Tuffshed we have, and do the other repairs. He spent the entire day and got everything done beautifully, and even did a few paint touch-ups of spots he noticed that needed it. He was so efficient that the price came in lower than the maximum he had estimated! He also cleaned up so thoroughly that the only way we know he was here because of his excellent work! We had Jeff out to install the fiber cement siding on our house years ago. He also painted it and had rain gutters put up. We recently had him back to repair some dry rot in our "atrium" and he just finished our most recent job - painting the front of our house (where the sun beats on it all day), painting a guest room and putting up towel hooks and a cabinet in the guest bath. We had rotten/damaged fascia, siding and eave's soffits. From all the contractors who looked at our house he was the only one who knew how to do it without doing re-roofing. He replaced all damaged fascia boards and siding, repair the eaves and install new soffit material all around the house. Excellent work!! We had him paint the exterior of the house also. After forty years, it was time to replace the redwood front of my house. I needed a craftsman who could remove the existing vertical siding. But I also needed someone who knew what to do if there where any surprises under the wood. The contractor also needed to be an expert in Hardieboard and its proper installation. Jeff had all the "old school" expertise needed for this job. He is an artist with a calking gun and an expert on the proper installation of Hardieboard horizontal siding. His suggestions for finishing the job with the trim were excellent and enhanced the job a lot. This job was done rapidly, expertly and completely. We recently enlisted Jeff to add siding on a couple of sections of our exterior as well as re-paint the entire exterior. Jeff was completely honest telling us the paint was still in good condition (we had just bought the house about 2.5 years earlier) and didnt really need a new coat yet. But I explained that I just hate the color and didn't want to keep coming home to it :-/ Fastforward to today and I am still just so happy with thh siding and color; literally brings a smile to my face. Only downside is that it puts more pressure to clean up the landscaping so the new amazing house exterior doesnt get drowned out by it but, that will just have to remain on the list for now :-) His pricing was reasonable and very competitive to other quotes. I think he even finished the job within maybe 3-4 days. He did an amazing job; we are very impressed and grateful for his work. We had some trim and siding warp and come off during the recent rain and wind storms. Called Jeff to get an estimate and he came out, asked questions about the previous work, pointed out possible issues, and explained what he would do to repair. I had some severe dry rot and termite damage on some fascia board above my garage coming off the roof valley. It was very visible while standing in my driveway so I was very particular about who I hired. I interviewed several painters and handymen who said they could do the job but after meeting with Jeff Geckle, I hired him on the spot to complete the work. Not only is he a master carpenter of 40 years, but more importantly, he is a perfectionist when doing his work. The repair was complicated since the original framer in 1984 didn't do things properly so Jeff had to really re-engineer things to make them water-secure and cosmetically pleasing. I told him several times that the work was fine and that he could finish up. But he kept making saw cuts until the joint matched up perfectly. This dude is old school and really good. His finesse using a power saw is actually something to see. We are very pleased with how it turned out. I know Jeff's expertise is siding and general carpentry but he is great with diagnosing water issues and fixing dry rot and termite damage. TEN STARS read more

Jeff is an extraordinary construction person. He replaced all of our wood siding with composition siding, painted the entire outside of our home, repaired major problems with our patio cover and rebuilt much of our fences.
