His price was reasonable and lower than another estimate from another roofer who has done a lot of work in our neighborhood. His team did the work well and on time. They cleaned up well after each workday. The best part I think is that Tyler is an owner/worker who was with his crew everyday and gets his hand dirty besides making sure that work is done properly. We selected the new countertops from samples in their showroom, then shopped on our own for the tile backsplash, all new appliances and fixtures. Westside was very flexible in allowing us to be hands-on with the process and our selections. For Clients who prefer more creative guidance, Westside offers in-house design services. Jonathan and the entire Westside team were exceptional in their care and concern for the Client. Further, their various tradespeople were friendly and competent without exception. Importantly, they also finished within budget and estimated timeline. Although we have held off painting the kitchen walls and restoring the floor tile pending completion of other work planned for our home, we have already settled into our "mostly new" kitchen. They were also able to rebuild two patios and change out a couple of vertical posts that hold up the patio/roof that were water damaged. We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

Second, it was a green door, meaning, it was not totally cured and oozed out sap for 4 months. 6 months later, the door cracked. After several months, they agreed to a new door. When it came, it was not measured correctly so I had to wait another 6 months for the next door. so now the door is installed, I had to pay again to get it repainted. Guess what, 6 months later, that new door cracked. They will not replace the door so I have to live with a cracked door since they told me it is past warranty. their solution...pay another $1500 to install a fiberglass door as a replacement. I would not even give this company 1 star if I could.

Their sales rep came out, took his time, was very relaxed and professional, walked me through all my options, and provided full license and insurance info. He left me with a written estimate and zero pressure. Their pricing came in right in the middle, but the service level made it the best value by a mile. Once my HOA approved the project, everything moved exactly on schedule. The windows were custom, and the team showed up within the four-week lead time they quoted. They installed all five windows in less than a day. They also removed the brand-new blinds I had just installed and put them back up perfectly--like they were never touched. Huge bonus. Communication was great the entire time. The installer met me in the morning so I could walk him through the space, and he called ahead before finishing so I could come back from the office, inspect everything, and sign off. The finished product looks fantastic. From the first phone call to the sales visit to installation day, the whole experience was smooth, honest, and professional. I'd absolutely recommend Approved Contractor Inc. if you're looking for quality window replacement without the pressure or runaround.
