Fast forward to today. My husband ran over something large and hard at 70 mph. Hit was so hard it popped the needle off of the speedometer in the dash. Managed to get it into see Joshua. Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of. Just tells me that they are doing things right and have customer satisfaction very high on their priority list.

They are professional, keep you informed every step of the way, do great work, for a fair price, stand behind their work, and most of all are honest. I have spoken with the owner more than once, as it is family owned, and he is usually there. But one time that I spoke with him that stood out to me that they were different. My stepson's power steering stopped working. I called and I was about to have it towed in as it was parked at a restaurant. The owner got on the phone with me and asked me what year and model the car was. I told him, he asked me if the car had driven through any heavy puddles. I told him it had been raining, so I assumed so. He told me that model is notorious for the sensors getting wet and causing issues with the rack and pinion steering. He said, let it sit for a couple hours and dry out a bit. It should resolve the problem, and it did. He didn't have to tell me that. He could've let me have it towed in and just let it sit and dry and tell me he fixed it and taken me for a ride, but he didn't. That's honesty. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and to anyone else who reads this review.

I bought a new vehicle from them, my trade in was a 2 year old Rocky Ridge with 16,000.00 miles, they offered 50 for my truck and I agreed to buy the new truck. I initialed all of the so called "Free Add Ons" the price of the new vehicle was 70,000.00. I got home to call my insurance lady I opened the paperwork, they didn't sign it, all of the free ad ons made the price go from 70,000 to 81,000. I called them and they said once I signed there was nothing I could do. I called the CU and told them the story and they called the SM (little angry guy) and told them that the CU would not be funding the ad ons. The CU also looked at the order and told me that Grangers had added 3/4 percent to the rate they quoted grangers. Oh and remember the 50,000.00 trade?? Nope they turned that into me being upside down by $1440 I'm not done with them. They are crooked as a dogs hind leg. Make the trip to Houston. It's amazing that place is there!
