I was very let down by this company. I called them last week to schedule a free estimate on irrigation repair. We agreed to a date and time, but then I realized I had a conflict and requested we pick another time that day. Nothing was available for a later time, so we agreed to schedule our meeting for Thursday, May 8, at 2 pm. This morning, I sent an email to their company to reconfirm our meeting today at 2 pm. Did not hear back from them, so I assumed we were still on. 2 pm came and went, I left a couple of voicemails, and never heard back. They didn't show and didn't call me. I wasted so much time on this. I will now look for someone else who hopefully will be more professional. read more

Our irrigation system has had some technical issues in the past few years and Fletcher, the technician that has care for our system has done a great job and addressing it and sharing any foreseen concerns that he see in the future. At this time he has changed a few valve for us that we feel confortable with the results. Having my overhead power lines placed underground and the power company tore up my irrigation system. Called J. Irrigation and Repair at 4:30pm and asked if they could please come the next morning before the power company buried all the torn up irrigation lines. Armando and his assistant came out at 7:30am the next morning, cut, capped and located all of the important lines for rerouting after our electrical project is done. Do not use this company for irrigation repair. We purchased a home that needed much in the way of redoing our irrigation system. J irrigation came out and gave us a $3000 quote to fix it all. Not knowing any better we said okay. They moved the controller from inside the garage to the outside which took a lot of their time but on repairing or replacing sprinklers or moving them that didn't happen. I spoke with Armando after he redid sprinkler's in my back garden area and asked him why he put sprinklers to water from the top instead of drip lines. He said that's what he had, drip lines in his garden since you're not supposed to water from the top and that he'd come back and redo it for more money. After they left we discovered little was done with our irrigation. We now have Hunter, Orbit and Rainbird and several sprinklers are watering our neighbors yards. I think quotes are developed based on size of the house and area rather than work needed. read more

I recently used J. Irrigation to repair an issue with one of my irrigation zones. My appointment was originally scheduled for 2:30pm but they had someone in my area so they stopped by at 10am. At first I thought it was a needing a valve replacement but after troubleshooting our tech, Flesher found that rewiring the valve fixed the problem. He was professional, knowledgeable, and was able to troubleshoot and repair the issue very quickly. J. Irrigation pricing was fair and I will definitely use them again. CON MEN! One of the zones of my sprinkler system was not working, so I gave these guys a call. They came out and replaced the valve and charged me $150. Well, that zone now worked, but the other zones now leaked water when the system was not even being used. I called and they came out again and charged another $150. They said they had replaced a second valve. When I got home, I found that there was still a leak. I called and said this needs to be fixed at no charge this time. They agreed and came out again. They told my wife the third valve now needed to be replaced and this valve was different than the other two and was no longer available, so a whole new system would need to be installed for around $400. They said the system was very old and probably installed in the 1960s, when the house was built. I actually installed it 9 years ago. BTW, these guys never made an appointment on time and consequently, were often working when we weren't there. I called another sprinkler service and they came out and demonstrated to my wife that only one valve had been replaced! He replaced the other two without issue, so not only did they charge us for a valve that was not replaced, their claim that the third valve was out of production was an obvious lie. They basically stole $300 from me. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

They have experience, which shows with their quick solution and execution, replacing zones destroyed during a pool construction project. I had spent weeks troubleshooting this and another malfunctioning zone, but took only minutes by then to diagnose. Reasonable rates, and well worth the time saved vs. investigating and repairing on my own. I highly recommend for any irrigation repair or re-design, relying on their expertise and quick execution. Don't hire someone who doesn't do this for a living, or you'll end up having to redo a lot of the install, due to wrong pipe size selection, sprinkler heads placement causing dry spots, etc. read more
