This is one of the nicest and cleanest nail salons in Washington heights. They offer a Mani and Pedi from Mon-Wed for $22.00 and they do not use cheap nail polishes. They have Essie and OPI. Nail polishes are not watered down like in other places in the area. The ladies are all friendly and very welcoming. My nail tech is Erica but if she is busy i will have any of the other ladies service me. They are all awesome. They also have facial and massage services and have packages. Do not come here. This women Yisel that worked on my toes cut OFF parts of my skin after I told her do not cut my cuticles only cut whatever you see is necessary to cut that is sticking out. The shocking part is that she spoke great English and understood everything I said however declared that I need to cut my cuticles and that I need to cut them more often in order for my nail color and my nail pedicure to look good. not only does my nail color not look good and she did she miss some parts and didn't color it and fully she also cut me so deeply in my skin that as a dancer I cannot even dance this weekend at a big Festival that I'm attending because my foot hurts and it's burning and I'm limping. Do not go there if you don't want to get cut do not go there if you don't want to get ripped off because all they do is charge you extra money for their service. Their service is just pretending that they're giving service when in reality they are just after your money! My manicure was done poorly she ended up cutting my nails really short after I told her not to and my nails are uneven as well and you can see that there's glue from the uv on the sides of my nail. When she did my back massage for a second I realized she never gave me a foot massage even though I'm paying for a spa pedicure. Not fun! She ended up demanding an extra tip at the end and asked me did you like my job. I just said you cut my nails too short and I asked you not to. And she replies your nails will grow back. So this place, in terms of decor and cleanliness, is nice. The service, on the other hand, is a completely different story. At the end of my session, an elderly woman with a walker came in with her own nail polish (a fabulous purple) and wanted just her nails done. She was a bit hard of hearing, and constantly wanted to know the price. The woman doing my nails found her questions hilarious, and kept making fun of her to the other workers in Mandarin. She pretended to be helpful one minute and told the elderly woman that it was "only $1 more" for one of the clear nail polishes, which I know she did not really want. In my opinion, she was seriously being taken advantage of!!!! Which is unacceptable and seriously dishonest! How repulsive. At the end of my session, the ugly bitch doing my nails totally yelled out loud, "You did not tip me. You forget!" Ummmmmm. I have NEVER had a person demand a tip from me (in the midst of at least 3 other customers). I found that to be classless and so rude! I paid $24 for a mani/pedi...if you deserve a tip, then I would give you one. But after poorly painting my nails, and constantly trying to manipulate me into paying "3 more dollar" for random shitty services, you do not get a fucking tip. Never going to this place again. This spa is like the best ever well at least that I know of. My cousin introduced me to this spa and told me to go here for a Brazilian wax. With it being my first time getting one, I was very concerned. To my surprise the service was great. The lady who was recommended by my cousin to do my Brazilian Wax, Emma, happened to be the manager. She made me feel very comfortable about this private procedure. She is very polite, fun, and makes you feel extremely comfortable. Emma made this experience as less painful as possible and I am very pleased The price was good I paid $45 for a full Brazilian wax, which I find awesome. The atmosphere within this small spa is very soothing and friendly. They also do facials, nails, and massages. BY THE WAY EMMA DOES MY EYEBROW TOO AND THEY ARE AWESOME. Had a bad experience with the new girl here. She took 1 hour and 45 minutes for a mani/pedi! She didn't know how to file nails square or how to do a french manicure so after destroying two of my nails I finally asked someone to help her and the other lady (Maria) took over. She was great. Once I got home I realized how bad my pedicure was. She didn't even polish the whole nail so currently I'm having them repaint my toes. The lady apologized and did a fabulous job. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of those two ladies. My advice is that the new girl get more training or a new profession. read more

Small and appeared to be a clean place. Definitely not "posh" by any means. I went here to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. The lady who serviced me was nice. However, she did not do a thorough job getting the wax residue off my face. The next day, I felt stickiness around my lip area and I'm not sure what product she used when she attempted to clean my face, but my face got itchy and blotchy. I've never had that happened before at any other place. I will try a threading place instead. read more

Terrible experience. I had an appointment for a specific time and was taken 35 minutes after the time had passed. A manicure and pedicure took almost two hours of my night. When I brought it up to the women there, the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude, defensive, and not sympathetic in the least bit. Instead of sympathizing she stated "That's not my problem." Terrible way to run a business with ZERO interest in customer service. I will NEVER go back and have encouraged others to avoid going. read more

I tried this place today after hearing so many great things about it from neighbors. I ended up getting a mani/pedi with colored gel on my finger nails, but not my toes (too $$). The women were SO attentive and accommodating! They offered to start on the colored gel while I got my pedi so I could get out faster... I felt like a princess. Never having had colored gel before I am not sure if this is standard, but they didn't clean up my cuticles. I thought this was strange but regardless, my nails look great! Rude. I called and and they said they were available and to come for a mani/pedi. I live a ten minute walk from the salon and by the time I got there she said they had other customers and I would have to wait at least 50 minutes because I took too long to get there. She was in no way apologetic and kept blaming me for taking too long to get there. The place did not look clean, either. read more

My mani-pedi was reasonably priced but poorly executed. My old nailpolish is still visible on the sides of my nails. My nails were left rough and not shaped well when filed, one of my thumbnails look like a right triangle. The new polish is goopy on the cuticle, and my cuticles were left in poor condition (they were not even bad to begin with.) In addition to the poor job done the woman who did my nails hovered when I was writing down the amount for the tip I wanted to leave (this took place pre-manicure post pedicure.) This made me feel uncomfortable and was not very professional. 24 hours after visiting the salon I noticed the nail polish start to peel up and crack off. Overall with the variety of salons in the area I would definitely try out others before returning. read more

I wrote a very positive review of this salon a couple of weeks ago, but had a really sloppy, unprofessional manicure and pedicure there yesterday. The manicurist painted all over my cuticles or simply left the cuticles in place and did not paint the nail. She also filed some of the nails unevenly. The staff is friendly and the instruments seem clean but the owners or managers really have to select and train the less experienced technicians better. read more
