Talking about southern charm this place has it. The tea decorations, the southern accent of the service and The location. Tea cafe located inside a boutique gift shop. Mermaid tea theme was the cutest. Everyone just order a little bit of assortments. Finger foods. Food was mediocre but the experience was the best part. They only have a few selections of hot tea choices, fruit tea or mixed berry lemonade. No sodas.

I was impressed with all the tea flavors they offered, but the food experience left me very underwhelmed. The quiche and scones were okay and I can say they were"tasty" but seemed precooked and reheated. The chicken salad and cucumber sandwiches seemed fresh made. The dessert offerings were not that great. All and all it was nice but heavily overpriced.

What is even better is that Finn & Riley is locally owned & operated in part by a native Shelbyvillian. The aesthetics of the store are very pleasing & the selection of clothing is both unique & specific to local interests of the area. I saw several very trendy designs that would not be out of place at iconic Nashville shops like Hatch Show Print or Project 615. I bought a nice Sendero t shirt & my wife bought two sweaters. The prices were in line with what you'd expect at a nice well curated boutique. Only quality pieces at acceptable prices. There was even a 50% off rack with some great buys on it. Love the sales,…read morethe email and text deals, birthday discounts, etc. They have an ever changing inventory that comes in a surprisingly large array of sizes... and the collection of home goods is truly adorable. One would think by merely looking in the window that it would be geared to a teen/young adult type of shopper, but that's SO WRONG! This store really has items for almost everyone. If one will take the time to just go in and browse, they'd be shocked at what they might find! I've bought several items here, worn some to Yelp events, and had friends ask "Where did you find that?!?" When I tell them Factory Connection, they get this look on their faces like "What?" Or... "You're kidding!" I'm laughing because they don't realize what this little store tucked away in a corner of SHELBYVILLE has to offer.
