I approved the quote that day and Their install crew arrived Friday morning and removed the old unit and installed new system. All this transpired over a 3-day period. Everyone did a great job from Amber who took the initial call to the two men install crew that got everything installed and did a great job cleaning up after completing the repairs. I would recommend this company to anyone needing any type of AC repairs. They even recommended a company to clean my air ducts which was completed today.

Our 20 year old R22 compressor finally gave up. The Technician did an excellent job diagnosing it quickly and submitted for a compressor replacement to the warranty company. The warranty company approved it and ordered it right away. It took the compressor several days to come in because the warranty company does the ordering and the whole process took us a week to get it replaced, but there was no delay from Co-Z air. Jeremy received the compressor Tuesday afternoon and they were out the next day to complete the install. $200 for Freon/old compressor disposal and we were back in business. Thanks for doing us right guys and thanks for the diligence. Texas and no AC is no fun!

Everything seemed ok, until they came to remove their fans/dehumidifiers equipment-- then never answered their phone and never calling back, even rejecting calls from the insurance adjuster. Because of this, the insurance contracted another water/mold remediation company to finish the job. Five months later, I received a call out of the blue by this SurfPro company location. First words out of her mouth was arrogant and demanding-- that I owe them $xx,xxx because they could not contact my insurance company (5 months delay ... my phone is on file with them, so why didn't call me months earlier?) I gave them my agent's office number and received call back that my insurance found my policy and no claims have been filed on my policy. They called back while I was talking to the adjuster in charge of the claim. When I made the call 3-way, SurfPro hung up rudely saying she will not talk to my insurance in a 3-way call where there is a witness to the conversation. SurfPro refused to call back the adjuster to solve this problem, but instead said SurfPro is finished with insurance claim, and will be sending a Demand Letter threatening court lawsuit if I personally dont forget insurance and pay their invoice out of my personal funds. I repeated the claims number three times, and SurfPro told me to shut-up, they they know how to file a claim to insurance. After I called for Insurance legal department, the insurance adjuster called them because they refused to call the adjuster (like just after they left with equipment), and suddenly everything became ok -- telling him that they had the wrong claim number after verifying the number as being correct with me several times!!! SO VERY DISHONEST (Insurance has no record of SurfPro ever calling about my policy claims -- all calls are logged into computer and audio recorded to be attached to the computerized report). SO VERY RUDE. Trying to manipulate me using threats of court lawsuit because they never submitted a claim to begin with, faking having a wrong claim number after three times verifying it with me!!!

I never thought in million years I would think my bathroom was beautiful. But now I can't stop walking in there and just looking at it in amazement at the most beautiful renovation ever. Not only was it quality work, but they used nothing but quality materials. I told him the budget I had to work with and he kept it within the mark without any disappointments. He had great ideas for a beautiful updated look. He was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable at everything. Besides his prices the best thing was they do it all. From the plumbing, replacing the floor, the tile work, painting, installing the fixtures and electrical. One company did it all and all of the staff was very respectful of me and of my home. My experience with J's CustomWorks…read more I'll start by saying I have pictures to validate my claims. I hired Jay for a total renovation of a gutted house at a cost of $300,000+. My initial complaint with Jay was that I could not get him to show up and work in my home. We went weeks at a time without anyone showing up. I would complain profusely, and he would send out a couple of guys who would work for a day or two. We live in an area outside of Weatherford city limits and Jay told us how great that was because we would not need inspectors which would save us lots of time. I said I expected everything to be up to code. He responded Of course! Well, do not ever accept that! Inspections would have saved me many thousands of dollars after Jay was gone. One of Jay's selling points was that he had contacts which could save us a lot in construction cost. It turned out that his crew and subcontractors were made up largely of friends and relatives (and a few underage workers who acted as gophers and did some cleaning). Regarding cleaning: they did almost none. The interior of the house was littered with all sorts of trash and construction debris throughout the entire project, and my yard had piles of construction trash everywhere. Again, I complained for him to clean it up but this did not happen until the very end. I terminated Jay near the end of the renovation. He still wasn't showing up regularly enough, and his work was getting very sloppy. Rather than going on for pages, here are some big-ticket items I was stuck with. I called Jay about these issues, but he told me any warranty I had was void when I fired him. HVAC: Our unit started freezing up as soon as we turned on the A/C. Jay had some guys he knew do the installation. I brought in the company we originally got a quote from which Jay recommended against to save us money. We asked for a heat pump and were told that was what we got. This was a Lie. Also, they installed the whole thing on the same 60-amp breaker. Dangerous and not up to code. The copper refrigeration pipe was the wrong gauge and had a kink in it besides. Finally, the unit was very loud when it was running. My cost for new equipment, electrician and HVAC labor was $15,000! BTW, we can't hear this one at all. Flooring: Quality luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed improperly and started to squeak and buckle in various places. Again, installed by Jay's crew. New flooring people said they left no room for expansion, so humidity caused buckling. Tearing out the bad flooring, they said sub-flooring they installed was done with nails instead of screws. One section did not have proper support and had already developed a dip. I have documentation for every word of this. My cost for replacement flooring and installation was $20,000! This is just the tip of the iceberg (2 most expensive items) for all the expense and repair I have had to do while living here just 7 months. Clearly, I do not recommend this contractor.
