I called a few companies and got an answering service which advised me I'd get a call on Tuesday ( holiday weekend) to set up an appointment. I was looking for sooner to be honest. I then called Parker County Cooling and Heating (PCCH )on Saturday morning, to see if they could do a system's check and to set up an appointment for their next available time. After I called PCCH (and to my surprise ) a person, who worked for PCCH actually answered the phone when I called. I explained my issue and he, Chris, offered to come out within the hour. He was upfront with his service price which was very reasonable and more importantly we didn't have to wait to have our system checked out. I thought if we waited it could lead to a potential bigger problem if we had something bad going on with our system. Chris responded to the location faster than the response time he had quoted. He also called and gave a 15 mins out to arrival. Upon arriving he was in a company vehicle and was wearing his company uniform. He was carrying gear and was ready to work. He conducted the inspection and checked out the system. After some time and luckily for us, we did not have any issues so we were just charged a nominal service fee. Chris explained there were no issues and even walked me through my system and answered questions I had about it. After speaking with Chris he explained he was the owner of the company and he was happy to help us out anytime if we had any issues in the future with our HVAC system. It is to be noted that Chris did not try to up sell anything and offered some simple maintenance advice for me to do as DIY er. Chris gave us peace of mind that our system was a quality ac unit and that it was working as it was supposed. I feel he took the time to do his job professionally. He was very polite courteous and seemed to be a knowledgeable professional, who is locally based and wants to work and do his job the right way. We didn't need any repairs etc at this time but if we did he would be who I would go to for HVAC needs without hesitation. One other cool thing Chris mentioned to me was since our Ac unit was newer that if we had an issue that it still would have a parts warranty which would save us some money if we had any issues. It appears we found our Ac guy in the event we needed one again . Hopefully we don't !!! Good job PCCH and thank you!

Someone finally showed up after waiting for 6 hours and 25 minutes as we were walking out the door. The guy said I can reschedule. I texted and asked when they could reschedule. I received a reply asking how my service went and if I wanted to leave them a review. I replied that I would be happy to leave them a 1-star review. They replied "thank you for your feedback." When I replied asking if I needed to find someone else... they blocked my number. So here is the review they requested.

All of my initial questions and possible pricing scenarios (of course, they could not quote an exact price) were discussed on the Yelp platform. The technician who showed up is Rueben and he was fantastic. He examined the systems and then explained all work that needed to be done and gave specific pricing for the work. The hubbs and I only had a specific amount to spend at this time on the system, so Rueben let me know what had to be done immediately to ensure we'd have AC throughout the summer, and then what we could wait on, but need to have done by early fall. We had to wait on some parts, but Rueben gave us a realistic time frame and let us know when he'd be back to install the parts. He was very thorough and I sincerely appreciated how well he explained everything he did. I will definitely be scheduling my follow up appointment in the fall, and I am now using Comfort Masters for annual maintenance on my ac/heating systems. CBAC & Heat was recommended to me by a client, so I gave them a call and explained the issues we were having. They were out the very next day, which is almost unheard of with HVAC companies. They went through our entire building, identified the issues they were seeing, and provided a detailed report with solutions. I was able to take that report to the original builder and the company that installed the HVAC system. Because of the details in their report, it was discovered that the original company had installed different equipment than what was in our plans and what we had paid for. I reached out to Brendon to thank him and let him know we would be giving the original company a chance to warranty their work and make things right. The reason we are even at that point is because CBAC & Heat was able to provide the builder and HVAC company with a clear explanation of the problems and a plan of action. After nearly a year of dealing with issues and multiple service calls, this was the first time we felt like we had real answers. Even knowing we were giving the other company a chance to fix the problem, Brendon was kind, professional, and understanding.
