Unfortunately, due to their poor receptionists they lost a potential patient because of careless mistakes. I called on this past Monday to inquire if they were accepting new clients and accepted my new New York insurance. Wanita, who I spoke to said Dr. Goncharov did not, and I could see one of the nurses Marina instead who is in the office on Fridays in Manhattan. She scheduled me in for the same week on Friday. She needed to validate my insurance number (which I did not have at the time), and asked me to call back the next day. The following day, I called the office with the information and a different woman I spoke to had no idea who I was and had no idea about my appointment on Friday. First red flag. So I rebooked the appointment for the same time, and confirmed that they accepted the insurance. She said yes. This morning (Friday) hours before my appointment, I receive a phone call from Wanita asking for my insurance phone number because she has never seen the insurance before and was not sure if they accepted it after both of them confirmed they did. Is it that difficult to perform a Google search to contact them? Once again, I did not have the card on me and had to call her back with the telephone number, and wait for her to call me back 2 hours before the appointment to confirm if I could even go there. She said that Marina only took it (yes, we already established this and thats why the appointment was with her), but she wouldn't be in the office today. WTF? I had to cancel all of the arrangements I made to come into the office after I had already took the afternoon off of work to come in. Oh, and it gets worse. Wanita said that Marina is sometimes in the office on Fridays, but really had no idea if she would be there the following week or any future Friday in fact. It is a yes or no question after you look at the doctor's calendar. Seriously? Red flag after red flag, I finally said "I'll go somewhere else". It shouldn't take six phone calls to schedule an appointment. If they can't do that right, I'm not really sure if I'd want to trust them with my billing or body.

My first visit, didn't wait long, staff was very courteous and accommodating. I met with Dr Goncharov, didn't know wht to expect but was not disappointed. He informed me of what the next step would be and was pretty thorough with my medical background as I was high risk. They really accommodated me. He and his staff are very caring and it made for a less stressful pregnancy. You can almost always get him to talk to if you have concerns. He delivered my baby April 26 c section. We delivered a healthy beautiful baby boy. While in the hospital, he was there every step of the way. Thank you so much for being so attentive to my concerns and needs.

DO NOT TRUST YOUR FEET WITH THIS DOCTOR!…read more I visited Dr. Del Monte to have a few corns removed from my small toes on both feet. They weren't causing me any pain and it was only a cosmetic concern. At my consultation, he was quick to say I'd need surgery and given all the positive reviews I read on here I trusted him with all my heart and proceeded with the surgery. On the day of the surgery, a nurse asked me during pre-op if I was there for hammertoe surgery. This surprised me, as I had only asked Dr. Del monte to remove a few corns. When I brought it up with him, he explained, 'It's the same thing.' I trusted him and didn't question him any further. During our consultation, Dr. Del Monte had also convinced me to have my bunion removed. He explained that he would use a new procedure called lapiplasty, which involves inserting a metal plate to correct the deformity. He assured me that this technique was much simpler than a traditional bunionectomy and promised a three-month recovery time, with my feet looking great afterward. Fast forward to 8 months post-surgery, I realized that I can no longer curl up my toes like I used to. My toes can now only fan up and down in one direction (like a plastic doll's toes) and they were shortened too (something which I had do never asked him to do). Regarding the lapiplasty portion of the surgery, the recovery was far from the easy experience I was led to expect. It changed the way I walk, requiring me to undergo hours of physical therapy. I even had to have another surgery to remove the plate in hopes of finding relief and improving my gait, but unfortunately, that did not help. Dr. Del Monte downplayed the significance of the surgery and failed to adequately explain what it would entail. His poor clinical judgment has caused me immense pain and depression, to the point where I've been on antidepressant medication for over a year now. I'm only 30 years old and I've never faced as many issues as I have following the surgeries performed by Dr. Del Monte. I no longer enjoy doing yoga and pilates classes as I used to given how stiff and rigid my toes feel. My toes no longer feel natural and I constantly wear socks to avoid seeing the awful scars that have been left behind. I do not recommend getting surgery with Dr. Del Monte. He tried to make money of me and test a metal plate at the expense of costing me my mental and physical wellbeing. Once I addressed these issues with him, he only gaslit me by saying corn removal surgery and hammer toe surgery are the same thing and he constantly downplayed the situation by saying it will get better. I'm now almost 2 years post-surgery and things have not gotten better and I continue to struggle every single day. I even sought a second opinion from another qualified surgeon, who informed me that this surgery should never have been performed in the first place and there is no way to reverse any of it. If anyone is considering this type of bunion surgery, please do not let him talk you into it. I strongly urge you to join the "Lapiplasty before, during, after" Facebook group. There, you can read the experiences of hundreds of patients who, like me, were persuaded to undergo surgery by surgeons more interested in testing their devices than in the well-being of their patients. I have attached before-and-after pictures of my feet for reference. As you can see, I didn't even have a significant bunion; I sought this surgery solely for cosmetic reasons, but I ended up worse off. Doctors are supposed to be healers and take an oath to do no harm. Sadly this doctor did the opposite and I regret going to him with all my heart.

Now I have to deal with another operation, which would make it the third in less than a year, I'm in constant pain, my foot gets swollen if I walk more than an hour and I have numbness which new doctor said is irreversible, my life has changed so much, I can only wear sneakers, if I even wear flats my foot is swollen in less than an hour, please don't go to Dr Delmonte,when I used to go to him I started paying attention and realize that he would suggest surgery to so many of his patients,I am going to file a complaint against him, my life hasn't been the same. I didn't have to wait extremely long as other patients stated but if there was a wait I think it was because she takes time to go over things with you and might cover other things than what you expected in your visit. I waited maybe 30 minutes my first visit and ten minutes on the follow up visit. The office is lovely in a good location just be prepared to wait for the elevator because this building is notorious for its slow and out of order elevators but at no fault of the Dr. Also it's a door man building. Their protocol is for you to get billing codes for procedures from them and check with your insurance to see if you are covered. If you don't mind having to call your insurance company it's no big deal. I got an email from the Drs office saying it was because they don't have the resources to call on every procedure and it's to avoid any surprise bills but my insurance told me in writing if any procedure performed is not medically necessary the office has to inform you before it may not be covered and get written consent you accept that and the patient is not responsible otherwise and there should never be. The Dr wanted to go over my first visit test results by televisit and they have a form you have to sign by email but they said they would mail it to me but said also verbal acceptance was only necessary not signed form so there sometimes is a bit of miscommunication of information at the front desk so just follow up. Also if you want to write the office with a question apparently there is a portal as well that you have to set up a televist which the Dr prefers.

Woroch's care made my last trimester the best! If it was not for Dr S. Woroch, I would never had gotten the pleasure of meeting my daughter. Dr Woroch went above, and beyond to care for me, as well as after my delivery, I was treated me to my favorite Italian dish which was delivered to me by Lorenzo's in Secaucus. I was a raving lunatic, and Dr Woroch always had a way of calming me down. I didn't want to wait for my due date, I was threatening to induce myself. I was angry, and miserable my entire pregnancy. Dr Woroch induced me the very next day :) (medical issue). When I didn't get enough pain meds, I was making threats, I was a complete nut! I think I punched a nurse, all while still taking business calls, and running my office in L&D. Thank goodness, I can laugh now, but Dr Woroch's kindness, compassion, and care can never be repaid in this lifetime. After my kid was born, I had a life threatening emergency, that most women die from. Dr Woroch immediately jumped into action, rushed me into the OR, and performed a life saving surgery. I would have never saw or held my new baby if it was not for Dr Woroch. If Dr S. Woroch retires, I would pay him, whatever he asks to be in the delivery room, because I only trust him with my life, and any other pregnancies.

She's to the point but she was excellent at personalized care, caring a LOT about my specific risk factors and concerns. She's a boss and so may come across as rude. To me, that was exactly who I wanted in my corner. She treated me with such kindness and respect and even tenderness during my birth. Most importantly I trusted her so even though I'd had two unmedicated births already if she had told me I needed a c-section or an induction or whatever I would have trusted her that it was really necessary. I really cannot recommend her highly enough.
