Unfortunately, due to their poor receptionists they lost a potential patient because of careless mistakes. I called on this past Monday to inquire if they were accepting new clients and accepted my new New York insurance. Wanita, who I spoke to said Dr. Goncharov did not, and I could see one of the nurses Marina instead who is in the office on Fridays in Manhattan. She scheduled me in for the same week on Friday. She needed to validate my insurance number (which I did not have at the time), and asked me to call back the next day. The following day, I called the office with the information and a different woman I spoke to had no idea who I was and had no idea about my appointment on Friday. First red flag. So I rebooked the appointment for the same time, and confirmed that they accepted the insurance. She said yes. This morning (Friday) hours before my appointment, I receive a phone call from Wanita asking for my insurance phone number because she has never seen the insurance before and was not sure if they accepted it after both of them confirmed they did. Is it that difficult to perform a Google search to contact them? Once again, I did not have the card on me and had to call her back with the telephone number, and wait for her to call me back 2 hours before the appointment to confirm if I could even go there. She said that Marina only took it (yes, we already established this and thats why the appointment was with her), but she wouldn't be in the office today. WTF? I had to cancel all of the arrangements I made to come into the office after I had already took the afternoon off of work to come in. Oh, and it gets worse. Wanita said that Marina is sometimes in the office on Fridays, but really had no idea if she would be there the following week or any future Friday in fact. It is a yes or no question after you look at the doctor's calendar. Seriously? Red flag after red flag, I finally said "I'll go somewhere else". It shouldn't take six phone calls to schedule an appointment. If they can't do that right, I'm not really sure if I'd want to trust them with my billing or body.

My first visit, didn't wait long, staff was very courteous and accommodating. I met with Dr Goncharov, didn't know wht to expect but was not disappointed. He informed me of what the next step would be and was pretty thorough with my medical background as I was high risk. They really accommodated me. He and his staff are very caring and it made for a less stressful pregnancy. You can almost always get him to talk to if you have concerns. He delivered my baby April 26 c section. We delivered a healthy beautiful baby boy. While in the hospital, he was there every step of the way. Thank you so much for being so attentive to my concerns and needs.

Many of us spend the better part of our lives trying not to conceive, so the idea of trying to get pregnant can feel daunting. A friend had gone to Kindbody in LA, and like me, felt some stress about the ease of fertility. She did the "pulse assessment" that involved some blood work and an ultrasound. It's to give you an idea about where you stand with fertility, and your success rate based on a number of factors. I chose to do this too. And to be honest, it took me a few months to finally commit, but I'm happy I did. It started with a video call with Dr Lipkin. Her assistant, Katerina, messaged me on their platform (very easy to use), and even called 15min before the appt to make sure I had access to the appointment, etc. Dr Lipkin was very nice, answered all my questions, and helped me schedule an appointment to go for blood work and the ultrasound. Going to the Kindbody office in Flatiron was a pleasant experience. The office itself is really cute, kind of like a new age clinic. You don't see the doctor there, but they have a bloodwork technician and an ultrasound technician who you'll see. Bloodwork was easy, they did a great job. The ultrasound was painless, and as they do the ultrasound, they explain everything and show you as they do it. I even had a question related to a previous test, and the technician afterwards pulled up my file and answered all my questions. Really nice. About a week later, I had my follow up with Dr. Lipkin remotely. She went through all of my results and made me feel at ease. I also had some related (but unrelated) follow up questions for Dr Lipkin. It was really easy to message Dr. Lipkin via Katerina on their platform. Both my questions were answered within 30 minutes. Some reviews mention they were salsey and pushing IVF. I actually didn't find this to be true, this assessment cost me $99 out of pocket, and insurance covered the bloodwork and ultrasound. In fact, I actually found them to be considerate of cost and gave a thorough breakdown of what insurance covers. FYI they also have a men's fertility assessment!

They are still charging me for egg storage to eggs I…read morefrozen, transferred ownership of to someone else, then they refused to take possession & kindbody coming after me for the fees, and after all my written and phone contact over the years discharging the eggs they are still billing me. They owe me money yet are charging me for eggs I made clear years ago I don't want stored or to pay for as I did everything ever asked to remove them from my ownership.

Dr. Wu delivered my daughter and it was a great experience. We had some unexpected challenges…read more(developed pre-eclampsia, baby had meconium) but I felt totally safe in Dr. Wu's hands. She was calm and reassuring, she had a strategy for the issues and explained to me exactly what the plan was throughout the night, and everything went perfectly - happy, healthy mom and baby. The next day, she even came by to check on us. I would 100% recommend her. We moved away and now I'm struggling to find an ob as good as Dr. Wu, and a practice as good as Manhattan Women's Health.

In each appointment at the Brooklyn office where I was based, I felt super welcomed and supported. The midwives, nurses and support team always spoke to me as an adult with the ability to make my own informed decisions. In other words, both my pregnancy journey and delivery ensued in a spirit of compassionate collaboration that I found especially empowering. Kendall, Jennifer, Shay, Shy, and Saonjie (who delivered my baby girl) are among the many names and faces that I made my experience so positive. My only frustration with my Oula experience was when I had to bounce between locations in Manhattan. Ordinarily, I had to go to the Spring St location for my ultrasound appointments, which I knew in advance. However, on two occasions my baby was not in the best position for a heart reading, so I was ultimately directed to Carnegie Hill in Midtown. This resulted in me paying a copay for three individual appointments for an appointment that could have been completed in one visit. It seems this is a kink that might have been ironed out since, but not at the time that I was an Oula patient. Still, overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Oula and have since recommended a friend who is now a patient. I would definitely return for any future pregnancies!

Absolutely everyone in the office is wonderful - from the front desk staff to the nurses, the sonographers, and of course the midwives and the doctors (special shoutout to Elisabeth, Dr Olga and Melanie, who were my guardian angels!). They provide truly empowered, comprehensive care, attending to every aspect of a mother's wellbeing - physical and mental health alike. Every visit was so pleasant - quite a different experience than I had with a Weill Cornell OB practice during my first pregnancy. You never wait long to see a provider. No question or concern is made to feel too small or trivial. You're never rushed when in anyone's care. You're empowered to make your own choices and supported in whatever you wish for. And the ability to reach the practice via the portal is so helpful. Oula made my L&D experience an empowered, joyful one, and when I had post-delivery complications that required follow up, they were easy to reach and made arrangements for my continued care with MSW (shout out Kendall!). The hardest part of my Oula journey is saying goodbye to this wonderful team now that my baby is here. This team will always have a special place in my heart, and I cannot recommend Oula Brooklyn enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you Oula team!

In my opinion the doctor is more important than the hospital you give birth in. The doctor is the…read moreone who is going to be making the major decisions during your birth and holding your life and your precious baby's life in their hands. Since in most practices whoever is the one on call when you go into labor is the one who will be doing that, I would say the practice is important. So I chose a place which had a strong group of doctors. In this place, I trusted and felt good about every doctor I met there. The front desk made sure to schedule me with all of them throughout the pregnancy so I could meet them. What I liked the most was their evidence-based practice that was updated on all the latest data. This was combined with a warm and attentive manner. They were very responsive through their patient portal. The front desk was wonderful too. In terms of the pandemic response, they were very safe and followed the guidelines. Temperature checks, screening questions, masks, sanitizer. During the height of the pandemic I would be the only one in the whole waiting room and would be taken to the exam room right away. In the end Dr. Elliston was the one who was there for the childbirth even though Dr. Ng was technically the assigned OBGYN in the beginning of the pregnancy, and thus I was glad I really liked them both and trusted them both. So far I have enjoyed the practice and I'm thankful for their care.

I sort out Dr. Moritz for his expertise in high risk pregnancies like mine and I was not disappointed. He was informative and caring. He has the best bedside manner which is genuine and sincere. His staff also, showed the same kind of care. I don't mention the wait to be called in, because once you are with Dr. Moritz, he is treating you and not rushing you out. Also, I would like to praise one of the midwives, Amanda Weingarten, who assisted in the birth of my beautiful baby girl. I may not have another baby, but I am glad to continue care with Dr. Moritz going forward.

I understand that emergencies arise, but this seemed like every day was an emergency. On the day of my scheduled c-section, Dr. Moritz turned to my mother and husband and told them that I'm a "nasty woman", not what you want to hear from a man who is about to cut open your stomach and deliver your baby. This was my second c-section but my first with Dr. Moritz. I had a much more difficult recovery than my first which was an emergency c-section. I just also learned that it left me with an isthmocele and I may need to have my uterus removed. As a warning to all other women, save yourself and find another doctor.

I was supposed to have a homebirth and found Sabina in a facebook group. Her prices were so…read morereasonable and absolutely worth EVERY penny. She met at my apartment and we talked through different birthing positions and came up with a game plan for the big day, and she checked in often. Due to health complications i ended up having an induction at the hospital. Sabina was absolutely one of my rocks during that process. She stayed up with me all night doing counter pressure, hydrating me, feeding me, bringing me so much comfort and we had such a beautiful rhythm going. The hospital i birthed at was terrible and i seriously couldn't have gotten through those days without my support team which includes Sabina. She came whenever anyone that was in my room texted her, and when i felt like i could do it without her she would go home sleep and refuel so she could be ready for when i needed her again. She held my hand during my epidural, and when i went through transition she held my hands so tight and just let me yell and squirm and reassured me that i could do it. When my daughter was born we both cried and she held me and kept telling me how beautiful my baby was and that i did it. She stayed after to make sure i was okay. She checked in after for almost 3 weeks via texts, and came for a home visit. I felt so cared for. Sabina is part of my family and forever will be. She is exactly what a doula should be in every sense of the word and if i decide to have another baby she will be the doula at that birth 10000000%

My first child was a c-section after a very long labor. After this, I was determined to have a VBAC (and did so with my next two kiddos). They were all so supportive of everything I wanted to do to help make this happen. Each birth experience was different but progressively easier and more peaceful. My favorite things: They are up to date on every single piece of relevant baby / mama research and any question you throw at them via text, email or in person always proves as such. They are warm and comforting - zero shaming or judgment of any sorts. No changing of gowns required -- just a cozy blanket over your lap. Each meeting (because it doesn't feel like a traditional "appointment") is initiated with a catch up on the coziest couch. Each summer there's a new baby picnic in Central Park. It's so nice to catch up under the sun and always so nice to hang out with the person who welcomed your baby into this world. They are all such genuine and caring people. Any mama would be so lucky to have such a wholesome and loving pregnancy + birthing experience.

This was my first pregnancy and I was sort of clueless at the beginning and filled with anxiety about what to expect. Christina, Elaine, and Chloe supported me in a way I have never felt before in a medical setting. With these 3 incredible women I felt safe, I felt heard, and I felt loved. Before AND after birth they will be there for you every step of the way. I also must say the staff at mount sinai west was also incredible. Thank you Central Park midwifery, I am so beyond grateful for you.
