Matt's was one of several estimates I sought, and pricing was all over the place. Matt's bid was competitive and fair, and he demonstrated a depth of knowledge and familiarity that made me immediately comfortable hiring him. Due to scheduling conflicts with another contractor installing a deck for me, I threw Matt a few curveballs. At least twice I had to ask him to move his start date, and when his team did arrive, the deck contractors were totally in his way. Throughout, Matt was patient and focused on his work. The guys he brought with him worked tirelessly over four days to excavate, remove old materials, prepare proper drainage missing from the old wall, rebuild the wall with new EP Henry pavers and regrade the area around the new wall - as well as around my driveway. Matt and his crew went above and beyond, doing extra regrading work not included in his estimate at no additional charge. And they cleaned up the work area at the end of the job beautifully. The wall looks so good that the old, shabby brick pavers by my pool now look sad by comparison. I'll be asking Matt Burns to come back to address that issue, and others, in the future. John installed a 1020 sq foot patio for me 4 years ago. A month after install we started having…read moreissues with spots and haziness all over it. John did come back to TRY and fix it several times over the course of four years, but it continued to get worse the more he messed with it. It would look good for the first week and after that, it would look worse than before. He has sealed it now 5 times and even used xylene once. We believe he has over sealed it and now refuses to fix it. We have been dealing with this nightmare with him since installing our patio. The patio needs to have all the sealer stripped off. And John does not want to do this probably because he realizes it's gonna be a lot of work to strip this size patio and expensive. John is very difficult to deal with when he makes mistakes. Every contractor in the business of concrete has an issue at some point with sealing a patio. Unfortunately mine was the one for him. It would be nice if he could just be a stand-up businessman and fix his mistake. 1020 ft.² of patio cost a lot of money that John got paid to do this job. And the finished product is definitely not satisfactory work. It's even cracking in about 5 different sections now and crumbling apart. I believe this job was too big for John to handle. I suggest if you have a big patio you want poured do not use this company.

I needed a mailbox installed and had tried for 3 months to schedule various handyman recommended by neighbors. I finally took things into my own hands and searched for a reputable and highly rated handyman on Yelp. There were several options to choose from, but I was immediately drawn to Brian's business because it is locally owned and operated by him. Plus, I really liked his bio. I could tell he was someone who enjoyed his work and was focused on high quality outcomes for customer projects. Brian did not disappoint. Every step of the process was a good one. My first point of contact was through Yelp messaging. That's when I first knew I was on the right track because Brian promptly replied.
