I didnt commit then but called Monday (day after snow storm) . told him I had already cleared my front and sidewalk, but needed help making a walk way in my driveway in the back and small pathway in area between two cars, in the front . He quoted $300! which I thought was insane . He came to location and said $200. I was desperate as my unit faces the back and I have a dog . had meetings and guests too so agreed. the first picture is what I expected (sent him this pic prior) and the second pic is what he did. he Left before i could see the finished work . When I called to complain the work he did was not worth $200 , he yelled at me for changing our agreement after he left and hanged up on me. I didn't want to have any issues , so I did pay him the $200. I just want to give an honest review because prices and quality of things are inconsistent and customer service (at least this time around ) was bad.

Put in my requirements and out popped Sandco. I gave Daryl a call and he responded, among others. We got a few proposals and Daryl's was not only the least expensive, it was also the most comprehensive. This was a simple time and materials job. As we discussed the job I asked him if I could save some money by buying the lumber myself. He said sure. He gave me the exact list of what to order and I did so, having a couple of pallets of lumber delivered to my home. Note that what he told me to order was almost exactly what he needed, plus 2-3 extra boards. He didn't try to over-order anything. He and his crew (mostly Dad and maybe a cousin?) began the work. I was so incredibly impressed with his work ethic. Communications. Attention to detail. Cleanliness. We couldn't have asked for better. We did a final walk-around and I gave my our final check. My only regret: I truly apologize to Daryl for waiting so long to post this review; I should have done so last Summer just after he finished. And weeding was never well done and my patio furniture was often left haphazard in my yard by the crew (despite raising this problem with the owner). On top of that, when I hired All Weather, I was told that there was a set price for mowing and set per hour charge for additional services. Meanwhile, from the start (and my fault for not paying better attention to my earlier invoices), I was charged varying rates and, after a period of time, suddenly had a new fuel expense fee added to my bill. When I raised my concern with the owner about charging different rates/fees than advertised, she responded that it "was obvious to me that you did not, in fact, appreciate that we are a very small business trying to keep up with the rising cost of living. " She said that I was the only one of her new customers to "balk" about a new fee being added without any advance notice. I understand that rates and new fees may change over time, but such changes need to advertised to clients before sticking them with the bill post-service without a word (something that the owner of this company obviously does not appreciate). Beware of this company unless you are looking for poor quality lawn service, being charged rates/fee that are more than was ever advertised to you, and a lack of quality customer service.

I wasn't charged for dumping which was a huge saving considering others charge dump fees. I highly recommend this company for all around commercial property tight budget repair situations. I have also used this company for lawn maintenance, sheet rock repair, painting, roofing patch work and power washing grease trap areas in the basement.
