Not to mention, there are numerous stores to visit, including a legendary three or four-story Restoration Hardware with ocean views, an Apple store, tons of boutique clothing shops, Nordstroms, and a few places to enjoy lunch. There is also a PF Chang's with ocean views. Don't forget the amazing gelato place either! It moved from its old location so check the map. It's still there. Service-wise, this is higher end so you can expect decent service wherever you're at. Overall five stars. This is an OC institution.

Update on HUGE cockroach infestation at Fashion Island (FI), Newport Beach…read more Went to FI this 2026 summer and after three summers, I am happy to report the cockroaches are gone. The Irvine company that owns and runs FI never responded to my emails requesting they rid their sewers of the infestation but finally they have acted and now, FI is clean and cockroach free. Hope it stays that way because it was so tragic to experience such a traumatic event year after year. Now they must act and remove the rats scurrying around between Lululemon and Macys. Rats are easier to eliminate than cockroaches but shame on FI for allowing rats to roam freely. Rats are so gross!!!

Aya greeted me at the front of the store, and she was warm, friendly, welcoming, and kind. Aya also checked in with me as I was leaving the store to see if I had found something I liked. She shared that she had been in retail for a long time, so she is very experienced in outstanding customer service, and it shows! Cali helped me with my return, and she kindly encouraged me to see if I would be interested in seeing other dresses. She suggested two nice ones that, unfortunately, didn't work out for me; however, she checked in on me in the dressing room, and asked me how I was doing. I showed her why I thought the dresses didn't flatter me. She didn't stop there. When I came out of the dressing room, she brought me three dresses to try on, and they all fit GREAT. I ended up buying a knitted fitted dress that was way more flattering--that I didn't even notice in the store, wouldn't have even given a chance if I just saw it on the rack. That's what excellent sales associates do. They have a great eye for what would look great on YOU not just the rack. Cali was exceptional. If I had unlimited funds, I would have bought all three dresses plus the matching cardigan that went with the knitted dress, but it's unfortunately not in my budget, sadly. There were plenty of staff available in the store to help, so that was a great feeling, too. She didn't want most of them (totally ok, my cat had gotten into the bag) but she was rude about every piece including the ones she took. I wouldn't go back here for shopping or to sell my clothing.
