Hello, I wanted to write a review about my experience using JR investigations. About a year ago 2 of my partners and myself got side swiped by a dirty partner of ours and have been litigating our case since. The partner that stole from us is pretty sneaky and super evasive. When it comes to avoiding the law hes a master at it. Trying to serve him and his wife who was our book keeper/accountant at the time was almost impossible using the regular serving service. we tried so many times and they both kept getting away. We eventually got the idea to hire a PI to serve them so we can start to fight back and get back what's ours. We used JR 3 or 4 times already since and man is he good. These criminals are never able to escape him. No matter how time sensitive it is he gets the job done fast and professionally. HORRIBLE.....JUST HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ALL! Jay was hired to video taped the entire time he was with me at my home and follow me around every moment per his wife (my incompetent divorce attorney - Lisa Rosenthal). With that said, what did I get after many many request for a copy of the CD, ONLY 2 minutes of the 2 hours he was with me. The video assignment was to begin the moment we all (myself, Mr. Levy, and Jay) went into my home to retrieve my belongings. The only part of the video I received was that of my stupid ex's pot stash next to the BBQ. I am not at all surprised that I didn't get any part of the tape that showed Lisa Rosenthal's partner, Bob Levy, physically assaulting me by placing his hands on me to restrain me as I tried to obtain my personal belongings and telling him loudly to remove his hands off of me immediately. J is super great! We reached out to him for an extremely hard serving to someone that dodged regular serving 5 times and after having a bad experience with Glucroft investigators who didn't replay our calls and couldn't get the job done although we made clear the situation is very urgent and our case might be lost if he won't be served within 2 days. Jay treated us with understanding and didn't even take advantage of our situation to charge us additional payment for the urgency. We reached out to Jay after the Chris Schauble (anchor man searching for his birth family) story ran locally. Even though it was quite a busy time for him with the added publicity, he responded immediately that he thought he could help us locate my husband's birth father. His BF had a fairly common name in a populous area of the country and there were too many of them for us to narrow down with any surety on our own. He even said he thought he'd have confirmation within 24 hrs (which I thought was a bit aggressive, but, ok). And, less than 24 hrs later, he not only had narrowed it down to one likely person, but had also called him, too. Even though the man initially denied it, we followed up ourselves at Jay's recommendation and just yesterday received a letter that we did, in fact, have the right person. Jay is down to earth, professional, and is in the business of finding people. The more information you have, the quicker the return, but even without a name, he can produce results. As my husband and I are both adoptees of closed adoptions from the 1960s, I've dealt with investigators before and couldn't recommend Jay more highly. My good friend's mom is in the late stages of cancer. Her father has been missing since she was born and she has never met him. Greetings, I never write reviews, but this marks a special event and time. After an epiphany, I began to search for someone I believed to be my daughter. I owe Jay an enormous debt of gratitude for his invaluable part in ejecting the former agent of my mother's trust. She was a "Friend" who'd worked herself into my aged mother's confidence, into the overpaid position of trustee on her death. He uncovered the fact that she had an unlawful detainer on her record, having been incapable of keeping up with her $500 a month rent. This was a fact she'd not disclosed to my mother.
