I have known Chef Shelby since we were kids and I have loved watching her business journey over the…read moreyears. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see her in action, first-hand...until now and WOW! Our school was having a food truck themed summer camp, which is a very popular camp that sells out every year. The kids create their own food trucks, starting with learning the behind the scenes of starting a food truck, such as logo design, menu design, a shopping list and then they build their own truck and cook some samplers from their menus. We have real food trucks come out for the kids to see, but this year was even better because Chef Shelby came into our culinary kitchen and gave our students and teachers an experience that they will never forget. From the start, she was very communicative and full of ideas on how she could create this experience for the kids. We provided the space and she and her team took it from there and made the rest of the magic happen. She gave a lesson to the kids about kitchen safety and how to create a menu to kick off Food Truck Camp. Then, she came back later in the week and made flat bread pizzas from scratch by modeling each step and assisting the kids as they made their own. She and her team were punctual, organized and very professional! The teachers and kids had a blast! Let's not forget to mention that she still made this experience possible even with dealing with the after effects of Hurricane Beryl! Thank you so much, Comfort Craving Experience for spending time with us! We are so thankful and look forward to working with you again in the future!

People have the right to give an honest opinion about a business doesn't matter when they decide to do it. But it's up to the person in business to see the mistake, learn, move on, and do better next time. If you are as good as who said to be and and are confident in simply who you are in the business. This review should make no different but just rather another opinion. but here we goes again. It is true. Business owners have the right to decline business. But .... There was multiple conversations about where the venue. Mostly was to be sure that she was ok with how far the venue is. That was already being put up front. Even on the initial phone conversation. The venue was never being unknown. So have she know? She should have already know rather. If she missed the first time. Then she should have ask before being ok with giving a tasting. Then saying she can't do it because she cannot accommodate due the size of the parties & location of the venue. I don't complain about the foods or the amount of food. We even give extra money as top seeing her work and driving out late. But ok. So Guess what I have a right to speak about my experience. Overall, nope. Was still and a waste of time and money on my part. Her foods delicious. I believe she is a great cook. However Everyone will have a different experience. This time is not about the foods but simply about service. This is my side of the story. This is how I feel about it. Everyone else may have a different experience and that's not a problem with me. I'm just here to write about MINE experience with Chef Lucy.

I called Chef Lucy to discuss catering a wedding with only two months notice. My experience with her has been excellent! She has been so helpful in making suggestions that have helped guide us toward accomplishing our vision, while helping to keep us within our budget. She has provided us with wonderful cost cutting suggestions which I greatly appreciate. Chef Lucy has responded very quickly to every email and text. It is a tremendous help in planning when someone responds to you quickly. She has gone out of her way and provided a great deal of her time to help us and to guide us. I personally know some of the people who call upon Chef Lucy for their catering needs. This is most impressive as I know these are people who require the highest level of food excellence and service and will settle for nothing less. Chef Lucy has been extremely professional yet friendly and warm at the same time. She has a very giving and caring spirit. I can tell by our conversations that she definitely knows her business! I am a small business owner myself. I fully understand the challenges that every small business owner faces in this ever-changing economy. It is not easy! I am looking forward to working with Chef Lucy. I believe she will provide a reception for the wedding that is going to be nothing less than spectacular! I will post another review after our event. I fully expect that it will be even more positive than this review. Sincerely, Donna Speer

Cheescakes unlike ANY other - perfectly creamy, exotic flavors, all handmade!…read more I ordered a cheesecake for Christmas from Annita (the owner and chef and the Lymberi). It was made with brandied cherries imported from France! I am very picky about what I eat and I talked with Annita about the ingredients she uses. She uses ALL of the best ingredients - no matter what price point the client is paying - it is simply a matter of pride. You can truly taste that in everything she makes - the best butter, milk, chocolate, fresh veggies, etc. I also had a cheese torte from her for a party that was one of the most beautiful party dishes I've ever seen (I uploaded it to the pictures). It is decorated with edible flowers and beautiful berries! Such a smashing hit for a party! Best of all, her prices are incredibly reasonable. I guess because she is doing this clearly for the love of the cuisine!

Kat at Kat Creech Events is a wonderful wedding planner; she can really turn your dreams into a…read morereality. We used her full services for everything with the wedding from designing the engagement picture shoot, bridal shoot, to flower design, table settings, invitation designs, and everything else that falls in between for a wedding. She took all of my hard requests and executed them. For example, I wanted an aisle runner made completely out of pages from Harry Potter books and she made it happen. I also requested to have an owl as our ring bearer and she managed to find a company in Texas that offered those services. My final request was to have candles that looked as if they were floating from the ceiling and she made that dream a reality too. Trust me I had some "out there" request and Kat didn't even balk at them, she tackled them head on. My wedding was planned down to the last detail and it came out looking amazing. It was definitely a wedding that none of our guests will forget in a long time. Kat is one of the top wedding planners in Houston and it shows in her work and she has so much passion for her job so she really puts all she has into everyone's wedding that she plans. My only advice to future brides would be to make sure that Kat is present in the original negotiations of what kind of services her company will or will not be providing you, that way you don't fall into a situation where one of her assistants promises you more services than were being stated in the contract that you sign, which is what happened to us in the beginning. Luckily, Kat did rectify this issue and sat down with us to re-negotiate our contract so it truly reflected the services that we did want. I don't see this as a bad reflection on Kat or her company, just an unfortunate start to our wedding planning experience; but Kat did manage to right all of the wrongs and worked hard to give our wedding planning experience a quick 180 and it turned out magnificent on the day of. Kat brought a team of two day of coordinators with her to our wedding and they did a wonderful job keeping us on Kat's timeline and making sure everything went smoothly. If there were any hiccups at the wedding I have no idea that they even happened because Kat and her team handled everything so smoothly. Kat was fantastic to work with she really knows this business and has a lot of great connections so you don't have to run around looking for vendors since Kat already has a bunch that she can recommend to you to work with. We used almost all of Kat's recommended vendors for our wedding and they were all fantastic. Kat is quick to respond to emails and really takes the time to get to know her clients so she can make your dream wedding come to life. She is also very good at making sure that you stay within your budget. To cut money cost Kat offers a lot of in house design elements that really help to bring down the budget; but still look fantastic. Kat deigned and put together all of our wedding invitations, menus, table number holder and place cards for us and they were all custom made to fit our theme. She will also pick up any extra props that you need for the wedding as well Kat will personally pick them up for you and bring them to the wedding so that you don't have to worry about getting it and transporting wedding stuff to the venue the day of you can relax and just brings your dress and jewelry. We really appreciated that, it made it much more stress free for us the day of the wedding knowing that Kat had everything we needed and knew how to get everything set up in the strict 1 hour set up time our venue allotted. Kat really has an eye for details and takes direction very well but she also knows when you need to have something and isn't afraid to voice her opinion on why you should include it. For example, we just didn't see the benefit of having a dance floor, it was going to be $1,200 extra and we felt like the floor was good enough. She did persuade us into changing our mind and on the night of the wedding we had to admit that she was right the dance floor made a big difference in the room and we were very happy we listened to her. I would highly recommend Kat Creech Events to any future bride; she will make sure you have an unforgettable day.
