Everyone is super friendly and professional. The place is clean and I noticed they check the restrooms often to make sure they stay clean. I look forward to bringing my brother back here. Brought my brother here for a haircut and was amazed. Carlos was the barber who cut his hair and he payed attention to detail and made sure that not one hair was out of line. Paying a little extra is expected because of the Pandemic, that's not a problem but they need to get their scheduling worked out a lot better. Had an appt at 4 which was booked the day before but I got there and was told to wait another half hour because the barber just took someone in and was falling behind. The barber was respectful enough to text and apologize but now they don't need to worry about falling behind because they got one less customer. They're good people but not a good business. read more

I recently went back to my pixie hairstyle & had been looking for someone who could do a good fade on my hair the way I wanted it to be. Decided to try out a barbershop and chose J-Royals. Looked them up on Instagram and enjoyed what I was seeing. I saw that Jose (owner) had experience with doing undercuts for women and decided to book my appointment. Next available appointment was about 3 weeks out, which I felt was a good sign and booked the appointment. The system they use is easy and simple to book. It also sends you reminders about your appointment which was a bonus. Walked into my appointment (first time in a barbershop). I was greeted within 2 mins and waited for Jose for about 10 mins while he finished up a previous client. When it was my time, I felt Jose did an excellent job on my hair. He took his time and seemed extremely focused. He looked like he enjoyed doing what he was doing and that he was serious about his craft, which I can appreciate. I didn't feel rushed during my fade nor did I feel intimidated being the only woman getting my hair done around all men. Overall, the experience was good and the cut/fade was what I wanted. [40$ Hair cut ] I received a hair cut here and the barber "Chris" I believe did a terrible job and he even asked his employee if it looked bad and even the other employee said "you can blend that a little more" after he kept messing me up I just decided to get up off the chair and as I tired to pay for his time he told me he didn't except card, so he told me to "leave my stuff an go to a atm next door" I didn't want to do that so we had another problem, that's until the employee next to home took my card and I still paid for messed up hair cut that was way over priced this is a Terrible place to go to, I also over heard the employees talk bad about there customers behind there backs. Not what I was expecting, but pleasantly surprised. The place is clean and there isn't a bunch of crap all over the place. That's a big deal. The feel of the place is somewhere between hype-beast, trendy and clean. Did I I mention the place is clean? I was desperate for a haircut cause I let it go pretty bad. The guy I usually go to didn't have a free appointment till a couple days later. But I needed a haircut NOW! They have good reviews and I live just down the street so I thought I would try them out. I requested an appointment on Yelp and waited. Noon comes around and I have no replies. Great. So I call the shop and ask why nobody replied and the guy said I had to go to the actual website. He also said that there are openings for today but I have to schedule online. Great. So I go onto the website and I schedule an appointment for 230. I go in and he says there isn't an appointment. Great. So I wait around for a haircut anyway. The place got pretty crowded at one point. And a few of the people that walked the door seemed to be very well acquainted with the guys that worked there. So you could tell who the regulars were. It's finally my turn and go to sit at the chair. I told the gentleman what kind of cut I would like and he nailed it! I did have him adjust a side though. But it was minor. However, I'm afraid I didn't get his name. He's the tallest one and has bleached hair. I'm looking forward to another cut! So here's the bad: I get hot fast. With the place filling up with a bunch of dudes, it started to get on the warm side. What's worse? The cape that they use doesn't breathe. I was sweating balls! But it might have just been me. I'm rating 5 stars because I really liked the haircut. Oh ya, they also had Lord of The Rings playing. That's what's up. read more

Terrible experience! I needed to get my sons hair cut, but my regular barber was not available. I looked at all the great reviews this place had and decided to give it a shot. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist was unable to spell my name. After spelling my name for him three times I gave up and asked him if I could give him my info when I arrived, he agreed. Before I hung up I asked him if they took debit cards and he said yes. When I arrived I liked the way the place looked, it was nice and clean. I didn't care for how loud the tv and music were. The young man who cut my sons hair did an good job. Now for reason I will never go back. I went up to the counter to pay and the receptionist told me I have to pay the barber. I went to the barber and handed him my debit card. He said he was cash only. I told him that the receptionist said they accepted debit. He apologized and once again stated that he was cash only and there was an atm machine next door. I went next door and $20 + 2.95 fee. I went back to barbershop and handed him the 20. He then told me the price for the hair cut was $22. So back to atm for another $20 + 2.95 fee. All total it cost me $25.90 for my sons hair cut. Not worth it. Be sure to ask the price before you get cut. LOL read more

Came as a walk in yesterday first time customer. I was greeted quickly and took a seat. Everything was cool and only waited like 5 mins before I got a barber. Barber was cool and friendly. I asked for a low fade zero on the side size 7 on top. The intention of the cutt was there but the fade was weak. The sides needed more Scissors work to remove the slight fluff. The line up was good tho. Overall I was unsatisfied with the cutt but didn't ask the dued to clean it up because I was already on the chair for 45 mns and just wanted to leave. read more

Needed a barber shop for my boys, yelp had so many to choose from but this one stood out. I was able to book same day apts online(even though walk-ins were welcome.) each barber had a little bio when booking so u got to know them a little before even meeting them. When we arrived my boys didn't wait long (less than 5 min) before getting in a chair. The barbers were super friendly and listened to what my kids wanted, they took their time and were super detailed. My husband was impressed and thanks to their "walk-in welcome" he decided to get a haircut too (skin fade) he was in a chair in less then 2 minutes. I wish I knew the names of the 3 barbers so I could send a shout directly but I had my 1 yr old in my arms and he was pretty fussy so it was hectic for me.
