My girlfriend was fine with hers (except for reason above), but 2 issues with mine. First, Kaitlyn did ask me if I wanted any area to have special attention and I said my scalp. Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no. There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and one person walked in when we were leaving. I emailed the owner to share this (not requesting a refund but as a head's up) and never heard back.

In addition, I thought it was very unprofessional for the masseuse to tell what tip I should leave and insisting I make an appointment for next time. A tip is a very private thing, in my opinion, and at the end of what should be a relaxing experience, having someone tell you what they are expecting you to leave only makes things awkward. Not my style. Because of these two issues, I wouldn't recommend it or be back. Massage itself was good, but if you can't communicate easily with what aches you, it lessens the experience. A lot of places charge more for hot stone or deep tissue, here they are all the same. Thank you for that. It's a cute little place with the parking lot in the back. I love how quiet and serene it is. I've been in places that do other services (waxes, nails) and it ends up being noisy while you're getting a massage - that's the opposite of relaxing. Katy did my massage and she did a great job. Asked all the questions up front and then allowed me to quietly enjoy the massage with a little music (yes, I've had massage therapists that keep talking. Again, that's not relaxing).
