Eagerly, as in, she practically knocks the door down. The Jtails crew are kind, friendly and caring and it's clear Daisy loves them as much as they love her. She is a high energy gal and they offer a safe, stimulating and fun environment so I bring home an exhausted dog at the end of the day -- exactly what I am looking for. They offer full and half day sessions as well as boarding which makes it incredibly convenient for my schedule. Really impressed and happy with this place! My dog has been to 4 different daycares (we've moved around) and this one is the most organized by far. The level of professionalism is unlike anything I've experienced in the past. They have an online client portal which is an absolute breeze to navigate. You can do anything & everything in the portal it's seriously amazing. Not only do they have live webcams where you can watch your dog play in different rooms (which I found hilariously entertaining) but they also include daily "report cards" for your dog each day with a bunch of pictures of them playing, a few adjectives that described them that day, and their "friends" they played with the most...how freaking cute is that?! Additionally, the staff has been really nice and on top of their shit. The first time I dropped my dog off they told me they would let me know how she was doing and sure enough a few hours later I got a text with an update and a photo of her playing. She has a heart condition so I always get a little nervous leaving her somewhere new and the fact that they followed up like that meant everything. So grateful to have found this place! read more

What an amazing company!!! J Tails has been walking and sitting my Frenchie for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. I interviewed several companies before this one and immediately fell in love. My pup adores the walkers and I feel EXTREMELY comfortable leaving my pup in their care. I receive texts when the walks are completed with a time and length of each walk. Random photos on the walk are a pleasant surprise for me since I am gone so long every day. I cannot recommend them enough. Their extensive knowledge of dogs saved me from large vet bills when my pup got a urinary tract infection and they caught it early. On top of all of this, they are extremely affordable and you can pay online!!! Hands down this is the best dog walker out there. And before I forget they do an incredible job grooming my pet as well for less than half the price of a grooming salon! read more

This place is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, I wanted to love this place. I won't say anything awful about it, as I think it can work well if your dog is already accustomed to daycare. For my dogs first day we were called after five minutes to come pick her up because she was anxious. This was disappointing to me, as five minutes is hardly enough time to get to know her, to try to calm her, and to put some effort into her experience. I have a hard time believing they never get anxious puppies in, so I'm not sure why there isn't a better protocol for dealing with that. If they had called me after even 20 or 30 minutes I would understand more, and would have believed that they actually tried. To be fair, I heard it was a busy day with a lot of dogs, and was told after I got her to try instead on a less busy day like Saturday. So if you try this daycare for your pup, make sure you call first and only after pick a reservation based on the number of other dogs so that yours can receive the attention and care they deserve on a nerve wracking first experience. read more

I recently moved to St. Pete and heard of J. Tails through a friend. I am SO thankful I did! My 2 year old French Bulldog Lulu could not be more excited when she gets a day there with friends. The staff is amazing, lovely, kind and I can see Lulu's excitement when we pull up and someone greets us. I love the photos and webcams so I can check in on her throughout the day. I brought my 7 1/2 month puppy here 1 week ago for a "trial" 1/2 day play day. She loves others dogs and I wanted to give her the opportunity for a day of romping around. She had a great time and came home an exhausted puppy (puppy owners - you feel my pain!). Love love love JTails! I currently use the shuttle service, nail trim service and glad expression service. It's so convenient to have my pup taken care of at my home for these 'beauty' services and the shuttle service allows my old guy more time to rest at home when he has to spend time in overnight doggie day care. I love getting pictures to confirm when he's picked up and dropped off, such a great added feature of their service. I highly recommend JTails for all of your pet's needs. We've taken our dog to J. Tails since he was 4 months old. He can't wait to get out of the car when we get there. The people who work there (all young women) are great. They really LIKE the dogs, and it shows. Our dog loves them. You can see your dog on camera anytime, and the place is clean and efficient. It is really convenient also. The online booking is a great feature but J. Tails is also flexible enough to accept text appt requests. I love getting a text with any pertinent info (potty stops etc), distance/gps of the walk, and a picture of my pup after their walk. J.Tails, with an extensive background in animal care, offered advice when my pup was sick and even fielded a frantic phone call from me on a Friday night about symptoms that had me considering a vet emergency room trip.
