It as only when we went to Books a Million, did we notice the new location for Yancy. I am not a Comic Book Enthusiast, but my beau is, so we went inside. There is SO MUCH in this store that is NOT comics that it was amusing to me. Yes, they have your comics, but they also they have a lot of adjunct stuff. Do you collect statues? They have them. How about posters? Yep those too. Stuffies, toys of all manner? Yeah they've got that stuff.

The owner is super cool; he made me a sweet deal on an Amazing Spider-Man 121--I've been want to add the Gwen Stacy Death story to my collection for some time. Oh, and the owner also let me go in the back to hunt down a few Golden Age comics. And finally, the Thing is my favorite superhero, so the name Yancy Street just strikes home for me. When it comes to scoring sweet comic books, Yancy Street Comics brings the "Clobberin Time."

One clerk in particular I called on the phone and her name is (McKenna) and I told her I wanted the old farmers almanac 2025 box calendar. When I got there, she had three different ones and I picked the one that I wanted. I posted a picture of it. The store is awesome and I always meet interesting people as I just did now, I met an artist that specializes in a number of things, but when I said cats, she gave me her card because she does portraits of pets. I am going to be doing business with her get yourself over the Books A Million, a.k.a. BAM and enjoy a cup of coffee and buy a book or read a book plenty of room to do that and meet interesting people.

We spent time perusing the stacks, where he found just what he was looking for and I rekindled my love for Mercedes Lackey and her fantasy series. I love the way a bookstore smells and BAM is no different. One thing that they have above the other retail sellers? They take used books, including school books. YES! They're a new and used seller, how's that? They also have a huge selection of comics and the like.

My trip to this game stop was extremely pleasant due to the employee that works there named Austin…read more He gave me all kinds of info about the game I was purchasing, got me back on my rewards program, and even convince me to put some money down on the new PS4 that's coming out this week. I was going to buy a standard PS4 but the new one came loaded with all kinds of features that he gladly explained to me. Austin was very helpful. One issue that I'm having right now is the controller that I bought was used, and it will not connect to my PlayStation. I made a trip to Walmart just now, and bought a brand new controller for only $10 more and it works fine. The only problem for me that annoyed me was that game stop is closed at 10 PM when Walmart is open 24 seven and I really want to play my game tonight. I'll be returning the controller tomorrow. I was hoping to be able to play the game tonight so I had to go get this controller from Walmart because the one I bought from game stop will not connect my PlayStation. This is the risk you take when you buy used gear, I would recommend that game stop go through a better testing process. Even though the controller did not work I still enjoyed my visit and plan on returning! Thank you Austin for all your help, I can't wait to get my brand new PlayStation for that comes in and I'm glad I pre-ordered it! Destiny 2 game comes with the pre-order, so it was worth it for sure. He smiled and introduced himself. I explained what I was looking to accomplish and he allowed me to browse the store without pressuring me. He stayed close enough to answer questions but gave me space when needed. I landed on some really great pieces and Gerald helped me to apply for store credit, and scheduled my delivery. I'm really happy with the quality furniture I picked, the price was affordable, and Gerald really was a sweet heart. Thank you Rooms to Go for providing so many quality options and amazing customer service.

BUYER BEWARE -- VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ROOMS TO GO AND THEIR FURNITURE PROTECTION PLAN…read more I purchased one of the higher-end recliners from Rooms To Go. When I went to pay for it at the store, the salesman encouraged me to purchase an additional protection/insurance plan. Before agreeing to purchase it, I specifically asked him whether pet damage was covered. He told me YES. I then made it even clearer and asked whether that meant all types of pet damage, and again I was told YES. Based on what the salesman told me, I purchased the additional coverage. Later, I began having serious problems with the recliner itself. The seat cushion developed a problem, and the backrest was leaning severely to the right, which was causing me significant discomfort and back pain. I contacted Rooms To Go customer service, and they sent a service representative to inspect the recliner. He confirmed there was a problem with both the seat and the backrest. He offered to restuff it at my home, but when I asked whether that could leave the cushion lumpy, he acknowledged that it could. He also told me the recliner could be sent back to be properly redone. I chose that option. Unfortunately, I never received the promised follow-up about taking the recliner back for repair. I contacted Rooms To Go again, and they sent out another representative. This representative told me Rooms To Go would not take the recliner back for the original problem, but because I had purchased the additional protection plan and there was pet damage, I could submit it through the protection plan and the recliner could be rebuilt as needed. I thought, great -- I paid extra for the protection plan, so at least the recliner can finally be repaired properly. Then my claim was denied. When I asked why, I was told that while the plan covers pet damage, it apparently only covers certain types of pet-related damage, including biological damage. That is NOT what I was told when the protection plan was sold to me. Had the salesman explained these limitations when I specifically asked whether all pet damage was covered, I would have known exactly what I was purchasing and could have made an informed decision. Instead, I relied on what I was told at the point of sale and paid additional money for coverage that did not provide the protection I believed I was buying. When I contacted Rooms To Go customer service about the denial, I was essentially told that the protection plan was handled by the insurance/protection company and not by Rooms To Go. That was extremely disappointing because Rooms To Go was the company whose salesman sold me the protection plan in the first place. My experience has left me with a recliner that has significant problems, a protection plan that did not cover the damage the way it was represented to me, and no satisfactory resolution from Rooms To Go. I will not purchase furniture from Rooms To Go again. In my experience, the quality of the furniture has also been disappointing and certainly not what I expected for the money. BUYER BEWARE: If you are considering purchasing one of their protection plans, do not rely solely on what a salesperson tells you is covered. Get it in writing and read every exclusion and limitation yourself before paying for it. I trusted what I was told by the salesperson. I paid extra based on those representations. When I actually needed the coverage, I found out that what I had been told and what the protection company says is covered were two very different things. That is not the kind of customer service I expect after spending this much money on a recliner.
