Terrible! The worst chinese buffet that I have ever gone. I am literally trying to wash the taste of all the food out of my mouth. Fly was all around the food, food was super old, etc. Etc. This was absolutely the worst Chinese buffet that I have ever been to in my 51 years of life. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever. The only flavor in my egg drop soup were the chives that I put in. The hibachi that I had, was also tasteless w garlic sauce. The coconut chicken, also had no flavor. The fried rice was also very bland. Pretty much, the only thing that had any flavor what is the fresh fruit and salad with dressing. My two daughters and wife had the same opinion. Do not waste your money to pre-pay for this Buffet. My daughter actually loves Asian buffets. So the fact that she was disgusted with this place tells you all you need to know. The majority of the food here was dry, bland, and salty. Absolutely disgusting. My oldest son had to puke in the bathroom before we left. My wife and daughter had barf bags on the ready for the ride home. There are plenty of places to eat around here. The first sign should have been that you have to pay before you see the buffet. The second was the sign on the wall that said you have 5 minutes after paying to turn back. Food had no typical Chinese food flavor and was very soggy, no fresh. Left bloated and disgusted. The only good thing was the store bought carrot cake and the ice cream. It was stale and quiet, servers were prompt with taking our "food" plates away (there was a lot left on them). Squid was a rubber band with no seasoning. I really enjoyed my visit there. I saw there was an item that looked like it was out a bit, said something, and new food was brought out in 5 minutes. People need to understand this is a Buffet. Food is prepared before your arrival. I have been to other Chinese Buffets which were in worse condition. When I go to the Buffet in Lancaster, that food too sits out and some dry up. Probably the worst example of an Asian buffet I have been to. The tables were unclean, the wait staff was rude (didn't pay attention to what the were doing or where they were walking). The food was quite interesting. I understand that every Chinese restaurant is different however the food here just isn't up to par. Some stuff was cold and should have been warm. Of the 8 or 9 items I tried; 4 of them were over cooked. This place was recommended to me by a friend. I told him that he needs to get out more. Lastly, don't expect anything extra. There are few times in my life that I have ever seen food so closely resemble vomit other than puking shortly after eating; however, I had made the foolish decision of ordering sushi with crab in it from this restaurant. The aesthetic? Like a can of gourmet cat food. The taste? Like sawdust mixed with powdered mayonnaise. To add insult to injury, the tap water tasted like it was collected from a puddle outside. After complaining to the manager that I wouldn't even subject my dog to the inedible playdough mess they called a spicy crab roll, they brought the chef out to insist I didn't know what sushi was and that the wad of gum and mayonnaise they tried to pass off as imitation crab was just their take on a spicy crab roll. It was my fault for ordering the food and therefore they couldn't take it off the bill. Needless to say I will never eat here again and hope to warn strangers against eating here as well (unless you're into experiencing eating foodstuffs reserved for livestock). read more

Stopped here after Cabelas since the buffet wasnt available. Located in the next plaza. Stopped in for lunch and was only $10 with a drink. Pretty good deal compared to other buffet prices. Selection was the usual: sesame chicken, shrimp and sushi. The bourbon and sesame chicken was just ok, a little chewy and could tell something wasnt the same as other buffet chicken. They did have bite size pierogis which was a surprise and those were good. They did not have crab ragoon though which was a disappointment. Service was good and our server made sure our drinks were refilled and cleared our plates in a timely fashion. Jello was good for dessert but I didnt see any soft serve ice cream, which is usually a buffet staple. Overall its an adequate buffet with good pricing, but your better off going to the cabelas buffet when its available. read more

I went for a little Veterans Day dinner. I don't see what the discontentment is about. I had the water and it didn't taste bad. I love sushi and I was happy to get a bunch. I got excited when I saw the kimichi and the little octopus so that's why it's on my dessert plate. The little mouse cakes are really good and I recommend them. As for the American Food there, I believe it is there due to some patrons not being comfortable with more exotic dishes or for more picky eaters, which is ok. read more

Excellent service! The servers are sure to tell you of any specials going on that day, and they're more than happy to help you find anything you need at the buffet. Unfortunately, one of the reviews here jumped to conclusions about there being no white rice...there is white rice, plenty. He/she just didn't bother to find it. Also, another review said about there being no crab legs, this is a special that only happens once a week. If you want crab legs, go on that day. Overall, delicious food! The only reason I give 4* instead of 5 is because the food could be just a tad hotter! But delicious nonetheless. You will leave this buffet full! read more

I have been going here from time to time for over 15 years a the owner woman knows me. While I usually use cash, this one time I had only my Discover card with me, and I didnt find until checkout that they don't take it. I said I'd run to get cash and she wanted me to leave my cell phone for security! Because they have been stood up for $8 before, she said. The quality has gotten progressively worse over time, but it's always been a "Well, we're tired of burgers, what other choices are there?" option. But after the last visit I'll never return again, and here's why: I took a party of friends to JA late on a Saturday (around 9:00pm). The hostess told us that we should avoid the buffet and get orders from their little custom hibachi section. Huh? First off, this is a buffet, and the hostess tells our party NOT to get the buffet food? The entire point of a buffet IS the buffet. JA stays open until 10:30PM on Saturday,. That means there's an hour and a half left before they close, and they're already telling people not eat there at 9:00pm? That should have been warning sign number one, but we were tired and hungry, so we opted to stay. We go to the hibachi as suggested, and there's three guys behind it eating on a little makeshift table. We wait about three or four minutes with our plates, politely trying to get their attention. We didn't interrupt them as the entire thing felt... well, awkward. Finally, they look over at us, laugh, then go back to eating. Wait, what? Well, can we get something made? No response. They just ignore us. We decide screw it, there's five of us, we're hungry, and nothing else is open at the moment and the one place we could go just happens to be the one place a party member didn't like (Sorry, Five Guys!). So we attacked the dying remnants of the buffet, and... yeah. Not much left, the food is dried out and it's all the lil' pieces everybody else didn't want. We heard the warnings, but unfortunately hunger made the executive decision for us. While we were there, about 6 other people came in and picked at the remnants (at least I didn't feel bad we were the only ones). We felt like midnight vultures, everybody who straggled in felt to be of the same opinion and mind. "Well, it's... food?". We all kind of agreed that nope, this is NOT good . But we decided just to leave it there, and move on. Story should have ended there but didn't. As we left, the hostess asked how our food was. I was honest, said "Eh, it wasn't that great." and she responded "I TOLD you the food was bad." in an accusatory manner, like this was somehow all our fault. "You should have gone to the hibachi like I told you." Ahh, yep. There it is. It's entirely /our/ fault in her eyes. Great. I'll admit, I was kind of hoping for a /slight/ discount on the bill given they knew the food and service was "under par" (I'm being nice). Nope. Oh, and here's the $60+ bill for five people. Awesome. So yeah. I have severe issues with a restaurant knowing their food is bad and continuing to serve it. I admit, we were stupid, but when you're hungry and tired, it can lead to bad decisions. But as a business, if you're serving food that's bad, and you know it's bad, it's your responsibility to STOP serving the food and do something about it. The JA had been declining in quality since I first started going. It used to be our "safe" choice. Not great, but acceptably average. But after the continuing decline, then this... Disgusting oysters and a spot for lasagna and yesterday's pizza but no sesame chicken. Saturday - 7:00 pm. Not many cars in the lot. Usually a poor sign. Went in anyway. Immediately was asked by hostess how many and if I prefered a table or booth. Said it didnt matter and was shown to a booth and asked for drink order. One minute later waitress came back with drinks, placed them and left. I've never been here before, the staff has said a total of six words. "how many, table or booth, to drink" Is there a menu? Can you get something cooked to order? Is it just a buffet? How much is the buffet? What the hell is going on here? After five minutes of sitting in the booth I decided it must be buffet only and made my way up to the buffet tables and grabbed a plate. There were six tables. One was fruits, one was jello's and puddings and such, one was american food, one was a mix of american food and chinese food and two were chinese food. No white rice. One type of lo mein, one type of fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken (mostly breading) no sauces. Baby neck clams, no butter, several fake crab concoctions mixed with breading.... Overall for a chinese buffet the variety of chinese foods was poor. Once I was overcome with disappointment I decided to attempt to try as many of the chinese dishes as I could and I'll bet I tried over half of them. Everything was a colossal disappointment. It was blatantly apparent that this place buys and uses the cheapest ingredients possible and that the "chef" couldn't care less what it tastes like. Once I had three picked at piled up plates on my table I got a check. The buffet was $15.00 bucks. I got no problems paying 15 bucks for food. Thats an appetizer at a place with good food. This was not a place with good food. Except the fruit. The fruit seemed to be fresh and tasted good. Bottom line! Food is terrible. There really isn't a nice way to put it. All that being said I must acknowledge that when I was grabbing my last plate of slop there was an old women asking the manager what on the buffet table was "vegetarian". The brocolli has chicken in it, the only rice was pork fried, there werent' a whole lot of options. The women seemed disappointed and the gentlmen told here that he would cook her brocolli or fried rice without any meats in it to accomdate her if she wished. That was pretty stand up. read more

I should of read the not so hot Yelp reviews and avoided this place. Since this was a relatively brand new place I thought I would give it a try. It is smaller than most of your tyrpical Buffets. The dining area has upscale seating but the buffet doesn't come close. Some of the trays were empty and what was worst were the floors all around the buffet was slipperly with like grease film. Yuck. I could only image what the ktichen was like. The food was average at best and the prices were top dollar. Maybe this the only type of buffet for miles around but they have a poor selection and lower quality of food as compared to similar buffets in the Lehigh Valley area that I have tried.
