Only good quality meat tastes this good. The coleslaw was good . The secrete ingredient in the dressing was mango. Don't worry if you don't like mango. You don't taste it, it's just part of the background flavour and creates a flavour profile that is amazing. Same with the potato salad, tiny bits of mango in it, it just blends with all the other ingredients to create something really special. Service was excellent, I think it was the owner, but judging by the place, all the employees would be as knowledgeable and helpful, I diols mention, the wings. Very good, the honey garlic sauce dripped of onto the plater, I loved dipping the fries in it. We tried the hot honey on the side. Normally I don't like the spicy, but even with the kick it had, it was very good. The price point was very good. Even with the recent increases in price, it more affordable and higher quality than our regular spots closer to home. We had the feast for 2 for $75. It could have fed 1 or 2 more. We loved it. Cleanliness was excellent and exceptional. Looking in the kitchen, I've never seen a cleaner place. The only negative which is a positive for us. The sausages were not ready. My husband was disappointed, but it's good to know the food is that fresh and probably why the rest was so good and so fresh and flavourful. This is a place we will be coming back to and would recommend

Lamb sausage (daily meat) was good: very meaty & slightly spicy, with a nice spice mix. Cornbread was pretty good: moist enough & quite rich. Mac & cheese was good: nice breading, a bit firm & with a very rich & cheesy sauce. The washroom is surprisingly stylish.

A recently Yelp event introduced me to Flo's Grill and Kitchen. It was nice to have Nigerian food for the first time. This eatery is in Woodbridge, across from a plaza with a Wendy's that I frequent here and there. I came here after work on a Wednesday night with my friend, Chris. We met We met up at 4 pm. This place used to be Miss Pho, which I frequented often a good eight or ten years ago. It was weird revisiting what I remembered as Miss Pho back then versus a Nigerian eatery now from the outside. It's in a plaza known for getting wedding gowns and tuxedos. I had no problem finding a parking spot. Chris had already arrived, so I joined him inside the eatery. The vibe was so different compared to the pho place. The burnt orange, caramel, and beige colours felt warm and cozy. We got the nicest woman. She helped with explaining various items off the menu. We ordered these items: - Jollof rice value meal - Naija jollof spaghetti There is a bit of a language barrier. We ended up getting a jollof rice value meal for each of us, which came with a chicken leg. We then got a small bowl of naija jollof spaghetti to share. We got a bell to ring if we needed anything. It was nice if you wanted to be left alone to chat. If you're wanting highly attentive service, you may not be getting it here. Our food came out fast. We were ready to eat. The jollof rice was flavourful. It had a spicy kick to it. The chicken was flavourful, too. The drumstick was a bit dry in one spot. I liked the plantains. I wish we got more of them! They were tasty. The naija jollof spaghetti was in a tiny bowl and was dry. Perhaps all this food was sitting there for a while and explained why our food came out so quickly. The spaghetti needed more sauce. Flavouring was excellent. Items are expensive on the regular menu, so maybe that explained the smaller value-snack portions that we got. We got bottled water to wash everything down. It was cold and perfect. I used the washroom. It was in worse shape than when it was Miss Pho. The lock was broken for the gender-neutral stall. You need to knock to ensure that the coast is clear to enter. Clean. No towels. Use toilet paper on the toilet tank. It was an interesting experience. The naija jollof spaghetti was disappointing because it lacked sauce. The jollof rice value meal was yummy. I'd like to try more items on the menu. Prices run high, so I'll probably be back when I feel richer after a payday. As an example, the jollof rice value meal goes for $20. I was hungry afterwards and ended up getting more food elsewhere. I'd probably would have been happier with the full jollof rice meal. However, it would cost me $35 before taxes, which seems steep. (341)

Flo's Grill & Kitchen serves fresh, made‑to‑order Nigerian food, and you can taste that care in…read moreevery bite. I tried the swallow and the jollof rice with chicken and both were delicious. The jollof had that smoky, savoury flavour that instantly stands out, and the chicken was tender with a perfect char. The swallow was a first for me, and I genuinely loved it; it's comforting, warm, and pairs beautifully with the soup. Because everything is cooked fresh, there can be delays, especially during busy hours. It's not a fast‑food vibe, it's real Nigerian cooking, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead when possible to make the experience smoother. The staff were friendly, the space felt welcoming, and the food itself was absolutely worth the wait.
