Shipping is like $3.99 for small orders though, and Amazon is cheaper if you have Prime because there is no shipping. The benefit to a brick-and-mortar store despite a slightly higher price is being able to get the item today. MyTobbies has the single largest selection in the Tampa area. The manager/owner is almost never there (unless it's the morning and only during the week so good luck with your warranty or a return if you buy something), and employees have to get verbal permission just to give you your money back. There used to be a bunch of great people there (Kevin, Jeremy, Tim, John, Wyatt) but they are all gone. Bottom line, there are better places. Here are a few I enjoy. Anyway, I was looking for Buffy the Vampire Slayer graphic novels. Specifically Season 8 which happens to be the canonical continuation of the TV series. It's no longer published by Dark Horse Comics, and I wasn't about to pay the crazy prices for the ones listed on Amazon. I couldn't find them at first, and had to ask. The store is full of all kinds of comic memorabilia including action figures and games. It was a little overwhelming until I asked specifically where it would be. I was led to a shelf full of Buffy. I found quite a few paperback volumes that I was missing, and they were reasonably priced. They are also having a 30 year anniversary sale this month. I was able to get 30% off the graphic novels. The staff was also friendly and helpful. It's just a great place to get those hard to find items.

Hadn't been to an honest to God little collectors store like this in a long time. Reminded me of my childhood growing up in the 80s--early 90s. Had a great time talking with the gentleman there who had a good knowledge of the products and particularly his passion for vintage transformers. Got several cool items at a good price.. Building some covers for my appliances but doesn't mean i cant make em look cute too. I also picked up an Embroidery kit and extra pieces. I couldn't find the fabric i needed for that. I wanted something in the super fine. Talked myself out of buying the canvas they sell for it because you can up cycle old jeans for it. Fits my purpose perfectly. I want to make cute custom patches. Starting small and latter ill do like a big one like for jacket or to hang on a wall. I will be back for a circuit in the future. Im interested on a the cutter or the iron and sublimation ones. They made a compact of the cutter one also. I dont have alot of room, this would serve my purpose perfectly. The cup one and iron ones be great for like going to fairs n opening a table to do "on the spot" jobs. Did the mistake of going to the bargain corner. Picked up a car model lit for 7.50. I thought it was like the old school ones i used to buy when i was a kid. They are not. They used to be made of metal. This one was like pvc. Very delicate. I will share the finished one when done. I went with my walker this time but i was being hurried by my company otherwise i would had walked out with more lol
