I am a long time customer who paid with a $100 bill at drop off. I am absolutely sure because he gave me too much back, $55 and it should have been $45. He wrote $55 and circled it on the ticket. When I went to pick up the clothes, he insisted I hadn't paid. I reminded him of the $100 bill and him giving me too much change back a few days ago and he said he didn't recall. Later, he reviewed his cameras and realized I was correct. Then, he apologized profusely and gave me my money back. You can trust this business to do the right thing. There are plenty of parking spaces. The place is small with 2 rooms to try out your clothes if you need to tailor. I came in and the guy directed me to try the clothes on so I can get them altered. He was really nice and was straight to the point. I tried 3 items to get altered and was out by like 15 minutes or so. It took me a week to get it back and you can either pay then or later once you get your clothes. They only accept cash or check, no credit cards. A week later, I went to get my clothes, which was fast as well. I tried them on and checked to see how the alternations were. I then paid in cash, which was $36 for 3 of the items I needed to hem. I'm glad my friend recommended me this place because it was fast, straight to the point, and cheap! I'll definitely be coming back here for alternations if needed. He has a TINY sign that says "cash only" but when you go in for the first time, he won't even mention it because he wants your money. I came in to alter my new jeans and was referred here and let's just say that this will be my last time. The owner was very unfriendly and got upset that I didn't have cash. I had to rush around the area looking for someone to give me cash back. When I asked him why he didn't tell me from the beginning, he pointed at the tiny sign that's hidden behind a plant. My jeans didn't even look as good as I thought they would and now I wish I never came to this place to start with. Will not be returning, horrible experience. Gave $95 for 3 dresses. when the were returned to me, the more complicated one wasn't touched (but sandwiched between the two) so my husband doesn't notice when he picks them up. the other two where just shortened - not altered. and by just shortening one he just took out the flare of a flared dress. absolutely ruined a pretty dress! Scam alert!!!! I went in the other day because I saw the sign outside that said $3 cleaners. I asked him is it three dollars for dry cleaning? He said yes. I gave him three dresses and he gave me a pink claim ticket. I was ready to pay on the spot but he very quickly Scurried away and disappeared to the back. I walked out thinking well I guess they only take payment at pick up. He didn't put a price on the claim ticket, he only wrote "3 dresses". But I took it for granted that he was going to honor the three dollar per item price. I came to pick up my dresses today and realized that there was a sign that said cash or check only. OK I told myself no big deal I will go to the bank and get some cash. I come back ready to pay $9 cash for my three dresses and he told me that it's going to be $27! I told him there must be some mistake. He said nobody is going to charge you three dollars to dry clean a dress (actually Bronco across the parking lot will i thought, but whatever). If he wants to charge nine dollars to dry clean a dress that's fine. That is not what I'm complaining about. What I am complaining about is that I am 100% certain that he knew exactly what he was doing from the very beginning when he gave me a ticket with no price on it and walked away and took no payment just seconds after I talked to him about the three dollar price on the door. This place has been here for at least 10 years - heck maybe even longer because I remember taking my cotton Tommy Hilfiger jacket here to repair a sleeve..Ha ha, seems like an eternity when that happened...I think Friends was the highest rated TV show. This shop is family owned and operated. It usually takes about 3-4 days to get something that you've ripped finally repaired. Dry cleaning takes a couple of days, and they do not do that on site. These folks contract that out but you can still get stuff dry cleaned here. What they are good at is repairing small moth bite holes even on wool sweaters, hemming pants and shirts, taking in waistlines, and other basic alterations. They have two little dressing rooms so you can put on your pants, and will mark the right place where they'll hem something. My rip at the pockets cost $5 tor repair and dry clean. And like the many things I've taken here, I'm sure it'll be a nice job. They only take cash, though From what I remember, cash was good even when there was a designer named Tommy Hilfiger. read more

Always have seen this place but have been going to a nearby competitor for years. At the competitor location, I had a romper that needed a new zipper and was quoted 20. I also had a dress with a small tear at a seam 10, and another romper that had a tear for 12. To repair it cost more than what I spent to buy the items but he explained how difficult it was for each item. I took it here by chance and was quoted 19 for all three items. I needed a dress hemmed. I put on the dress. She marked the area. The hem was not correct. It was about 2 inches longer than what it was suppose to be. I told the woman I want a redo. This is for the simple fact that for so many years that we have been coming here for services, the shop and it's workers a short little Asian girl lost my fiancee $145 Lacoste shirt and they have the audacity to offer my wife $40 to replace her shirt. WTF?! kinda damn shirt is my fiancee going to buy with $40. it was very hard to communicate with them, so trying explain the situation was not very fruitful. We will never ever go back to this dump. They will take advantage of you and if you take your expensive clothes here make sure you take note if it. Take a picture or something because if they lose (steal) your clothing, they will offer you dirt as a replacement. So if you are bringing in a $100 shirt you will be refunded $20. I used to go to another local store to get my pants hemmed. Although that place claims they only charge $7 to hem a pair of pants, the actual cost is actually much higher once the job is actually completed. Plus, for the higher charge, their work was not that great. I just started going to the Alteration & Cleaning Center and it is great. They charge you a great price even when you ask for a rush job. I have been taking all of my alterations to Alteration & Cleaning Center for at least the last 15 years. The alterations are invariably complex because the apparel had to be cut down to fit my petite proportions. In many cases, a new outfit is made from the existing outfit, as in the case of dresses, jackets, and coats where the entire proportion needed to be tailored down. I have never had any complaints about the price; the prices are very competitive, maybe even a shade lower than the competition. In all of the years that I took my alterations here, not once did the gentleman tailor go wrong, and I hope it stays that way. When I pick up my clothes, I don't even bother to try them on for fitting; I take them directly to the dry cleaners, and the next time I try on these clothes would have been when I wear them.
