    Onion rings

I got an order of curly fries and onion rings. And I'm so disappointed and disgusted. When I first opened it. It looked just like a blob. And the whole point of onion rings are they're suppose to look like onion rings. Not a ball of dough with onions in the middle. And it's not only that. It was also doughy like it wasn't cooked all the way. Makes me glad I didn't get a burger cause god knows what they coulda done to mess up the burger too. What a waste of money. And it's a shame too. The guy that gave me the food was very nice. But yah, I suggest you NEVER GO HERE.

I'm in love with the tiny tacos! The plain ones are my favorite and they also have the loaded which comes with oooey gooey cheese, lettuce shreds and taco sauce. I am also a big fan of the New York cheesecake! Depending on location you can either pay for sauces but most offer complimentary. The egg rolls are pretty good as well. Just got a mail box stuffer that had lots of great deals. Last night we got a tiny taco, cheddar wedges, churros, egg rolls for $10 They were quick and got our order right.

Since I have not heard back after filing an official complaint . I wanted to make this post and I will be filing a complaint and notifying the health department. I tried to speak with management at the establishment and was met with a rude person over the phone. She was not wanting to reimburse me for my entire meal, being that this food was molded who is to say nothing else was? I sat there being a pleasant as I could but clearly very frustrated for about 20 minutes before I was given a full refund . Initially the women helping me told me she cannot give me a refund , then low and behold she was actually able to. The customer service was not to standard and there was no understanding to my situation. I fed this food TO MY KIDS. The manager was not concerned and she literally told me "it's not my problem" because she was busy at her kids school. I just wanted to warn my community since this issue was never followed up on after I made a complaint directly to jack in the box

    Garbage blocking drive thru

It's Sunday night. 11:20 pm and they day they close at 2. Am. But they won't answer their phone and they've blocked off the drive through with a garbage can.

Worst service ever! I just asked to add something to drink to the order, but she pretends not to understand me, do your employees speak English? and the food was disgusting

The restaurant was small but there were outdoor seatings to accommodate the crowds. Parking can be tricky, but we were able to get one without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly worker who took our order. Glancing at the menu, we knew what to order. We decided to try their carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos. For drinks, we decided to get the strawberry horchata and Mexican coke. I really enjoyed their strawberry horchata as it tasted like a strawberry shortcake. They have a coconut flavor one which I might try next time. After ordering, we grabbed a table by the salsa bar. I like how the salsa bar is self-served so you can have unlimited toppings. Overall, the tacos came out fast and were bomb! They give you a lot of meats on each tacos. Did I mention the meats were high quality? I guess that justified the cost. The meats were nicely charred flavor. Very similar to how they grilled their meats at their other location. I will for sure be coming back for the good food and vibes!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile every time. There are plenty of options to choose from, and the portions are solid they're not skimpy at all. The meats are juicy and full of flavor, and the tripas are cooked perfectly crispy, just how they should be. They also have a great sauce and toppings area with lots of choices, so you can customize everything exactly how you like it. Plus, they even offer bone marrow, which you don't see everywhere. Overall, this is easily the best taco spot in the area in my opinion. Definitely a go-to if you're craving good tacos

I was asked if I wanted my grilled onion and grilled jalapeño I said yes. When I got the small bag with the small plate, I instantly knew I made a mistake. Each taco was greedily filled. I had two radish shavings cut in half. There were two dry pieces of carrot and that onion and jalapeño that I mentioned.. yeah, I got half of a jalapeño sautéed with maybe about eight pieces of onion all over the tacos.. I don't know who called this place authentic but I am highly disappointed.. The only thing that presented any equality was the paper bag and the sturdy paper plate that the tacos came on. Lastly, I wanna end my review with another note : the slices of lime that I received were so thin that was actually the most diabolical part of the order. These were the thinness slices of lime I have ever received in my entire life . It was almost insulting .

Pastor Tacos - I was really looking forward to some amazing tacos. I'll admit that the presentation is 10/10 for sure and they look amazing but do not taste as great as they look. The pastor tacos I ordered had onion, tomato, and no pineapple in them nor do I think the meat was pastor (maybe it was the wrong tacos entirely) they were way too sweet and I don't think I'll be ordering those again. Rice & Beans - this should be called rice and chili because the beans were not your typical refried beans that you usually get. Instead they were a very sweet tasting chili with cheddar cheese all over the top. Maybe they ran out of refried beans? My roommate ate the tortas and flour tacos that did not come with the free soda as described so I cannot speak to those dishes. Overall I have had way better experiences at other food truck locations that sell the same items and am a little upset that the presentation of the items don't live up to their flavor unfortunately for me.

This was our first visit back to La Rioja since the ownership changed, and we had a fabulous meal!…read moreLa Rioja has been one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, and they still create some of the tastiest dishes we've had in the region! The atmosphere of the restaurant has changed just a little, but the cooks are the same and the food is delicious. La Rioja is a little different from most local Mexican Family restaurants in that the dishes are a bit more up-scale and refined, with an emphasis on finer cuts of grilled steak and delicious sauces. You will not see ground beef used here - the tacos come with grilled strip cuts, and they offer a range of steaks which are delicious, served with an excellent chimichurri, on a sizzling stone, with ample sides. Portions are large! My chili rellenos were well prepared, sauced, and twice what I could eat. There were left-overs for everyone in our group! The horchatas were delicious. The food was well seasoned. The dishes came with cilantro and onion, pico de gallo, salsa, or habanero sauce if you wanted it. I did, and it was potent but perfect. The desert custard was talked about all the way home! Service was excellent. Francisco was delightful, attentive and made sure we were getting anything we wanted. If there was a hiccup after the change of ownership, it looks like it has been fixed things nicely. We loved all of our meals and can't wait to go back. The menu is a considerable step up from the typical "taco, enchilada, fajita" fare, but still robust and delicious. With the emphasis on steak cuts and great meat dishes it may be more expensive than many typical Mexican Restaurants but it is well worth it. We will be back!

They had a taco guy set up outside so we got tacos de carnitas, which were very good, and a mix of cabeza meats. The queso tasted good, and the steak marinade was different but good. Husband is hard to please with salsas, but he liked these ones. Horchata was great, but again, the price was exorbitant. Cons - a $6 coke and my husband's tacos being served on a random paper plate...prices are crazy for the area this restaurant is located at. I got the feeling that the restaurant was a fancy cover for a casual taco place, meaning fancy looking but the staff kept calling out to each other, kind of yelling, obviously not caring about the plating, etc. The queso fundido came with a random piece of tripa, which kind of grossed me out, but I understand cross contamination is bound to happen with an outside cooking station. The steak marinade reminded me of a rice/Asian marinade, so while it was good, it didn't quite fit with the Mexican cuisine for me. Also, I kept burping it up 2 days after, so clearly it didn't sit right with me. Husband felt they skimmed on the chorizo sausage, as his plate came with a piece of sausage, not a full one.
