Haven't been here in good 6 months at least so I was excited to come back & get some tacos, it was empty. Mind you this place is busy 24/7 especially during lunch time. Maybe 1 customer was here and it never made me think.. something's different. I ordered chicken tacos and rice and beans.. once it came out I realize it's in two separate containers.. and no salsa. So I ask for salsa and it's watered down.. red stuff, it's not the usual type of salsa they have. I bit into my taco.. and the chicken meat was so tough I could t chew very well it hurt going down. I didn't even finish it and had to throw it out. The menu prices went up and the people were different. I believe the old owners sold it over to someone new and it explains why it's so dead. . These are just really good basic street tacos, well executed. Plenty of very fresh cilantro and onions and the grilled onions Have a unique flavor. They make their own salsas but watch out the hot is rather hot! And I am no snowflake when it comes to spice. They have great hours, and they always answer the phone and they have been able to keep the price of their tacos quite reasonable. Way better flavor in their meat than other taco trucks in the area. Not recommended. We came on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered 5 tacos (2 chicken, 2 beef and 1 cheek), enchilada plate (chicken) a sprite and a regular sized Horchata. The only thing that was tasty was the cheek taco. The chicken in the tacos and enchiladas were very red and had a lot of a very off-putting spice. The beef was extremely chewy and hard to digest. The hot sauce was inedible...it was oily and looked like straight seeds mixed with chilly powder. The mild salsa was a verse type salsa but I'd put it closer to a medium level of heat. The enchiladas were the worst we've ever had in ALL the states we've been to. They were dry enchiladas with only 2 of them having sauce on them. The sauce was cooked partially in to the tortilla and 1 enchilada was completely devoid of sauce. The sauce on the enchiladas tasted the same as the sauce the chicken was cooked in. The rice was dry and flavorless and the beans tasted like they had no salt. The pepper they give with the tacos was so spicy that it burned the inside and outside of my mouth so if you like the milder chiles...this is not the spot for you. The horchata was flavorful and the sprite came in a can. We give it 2 stars for the cheek taco but all-in-all it was a waste of $30 and wish we would have tasted the food before tipping. read more

Excellent tacos fast. I have heard of this place from coworkers at the railyard across the street and been wanting to try. Finally got a chance when my crew and I all decided on tacos for lunch. I tried the asada, pollo, carnitas, and chorizo. The asada and pollo were great. Carnitas wasn't the greatest I have ever had but was still good, nothing the included onion and green sauce couldn't take care of. And the chorizo was no lie some of the best chorizo I have ever had. Some chorizo is too dry, some too greasy, but this had the perfect amount of fat and was just the right amount of spicy. I will definitely be back. The reviews for some of the other meats have me thinking I need to try those, too. And the esquites caught my eye when I was there, too. read more

I always cook mine the same at home and haven't found a place that does it the same until I tried this truck! I'm from California but have lived in Washington for 5 years and this is as close as it gets to authentic Mexican street food you will find in this state. Nestled on the side of the road is this tasty Mexican bus/food truck. Everything we had looked good and was good. My husband was looking for either cabeza or lengua, and they didn't have it but he said the buche was good. My only complaint was that the picnic seating outside smelled like a homeless person slept there AND took a piss in the corner, which was a HUGE turn off while you're trying to enjoy your food. read more

Good luck getting in and out of the parking lot. Part of it's blocked with a bus, part of it is next to a gate warning you not to park and there are enough parked cars that it's like playing Jenga, except I really don't want my car to fall off the tower! But the food is A1. Husband and I wanted a spot of lunch. We only had tacos but the meat was nicely spiced, the bits of stuff on the taco was fresh, (bits of stuff is a technical term, fresh cilantro, onions, peppers, radish yah yah), and the tortilla was ok. Very delicious and very messy. Far exceeds my ability to eat in a car but there is a shade tent with tables. Getting there might be "more than you imagined" but if you're looking for a food truck - the food is a definite thumbs up! read more

OMG! This place is AMAZING!! Authentic food from a small food truck, that makes you feel like you're home. Will definitely visit again!

We have gotten food here a few times over the past couple of years. I am half Mexican and speak Spanish close to a native level. But I don't look Mexican at all (light-skinned Mexican mother/American father with German/Irish ancestry). It's always fun to go to the various Mexican food trucks and stores in the area to get authentic Mexican food and to get the opportunity to speak Spanish. Whenever I start speaking Spanish at any/all of the other Mexican food trucks and stores, I initially get a look of surprise, which quickly turns to pleasure that a "gringa" speaks Spanish like a native. NOT AT LA REINA DEL SABOR, however! We went there yesterday evening because in past visits we have really enjoyed the food, even though it was annoying that the person taking our order refused to speak Spanish with me. After ordering in Spanish, she answered in English. My husband, who was with me, is a very tall gringo who does not speak Spanish. I think that's why she insisted on speaking Spanish. That's okay, though rude to me because I clearly speak fluent Spanish. After ordering, we went over to the "pick up" window to wait. A few minutes later, a latina came and ordered. Then several more latinos arrived and all of them ordered. We all waited around 10-15 minutes and then the latina who arrived after us got her order (including the tacos that I had ordered). After her, the next latinos who ordered got their order (including more of the tacos I ordered). Finally we got our order, which included my tacos and my husband's burrito (both with carnitas). There is no way my husband's burrito took longer to make than the complicated, huge orders that were given to the other two customers before us (both of whom ordered after us). To me, this represents a clear message that the people who own/work in this truck don't want gringos going there...even though I speak fluent Spanish! There are plenty of other Mexican food trucks in this area and they will continue to get our business because they give excellent service, especially after finding out that I speak fluent Spanish. To get the opposite reaction here is really insulting. But message received, Reina del Sabor, you hate gringos and you don't want us buying your food...even if one of us is only half-gringa! read more
