This place is incredibly filthy--floors, tables, bathrooms. My shoes were sticking to the floor. But that's just the start. After waiting 15 minutes, the manager (I assume) came and asked for our receipt because they lost our order from the system. We waited 26 minutes total for our order. That gave us a long time to watch the chaos behind the counter. The manager (I assume) was in way over his head and was losing his cool. There was food and orders piled up and they couldn't seem to get the orders into the bags and to the people. At one point, I heard the manager (I assume) loudly tell his employees that they would "have to suspend front counter orders for the time being", leaving several people standing there not knowing why they were being ignored. Campylobacteriosis! This is the name of the bacteria that I got from eating tacos at this place. I am a little to blame because the tacos looked horrible and were cold but I ate them anyway. Here's what I love about Jack In The Box in Golden. 1. The touch-screen ordering. 2. How QUICK they are, despite there always being a line 12-deep. 3. The drive-through orders are taken at a remote location then sent here by computer. Saw the workings of it on the Food Network. It's neat. 4. The breakfast bowls. 5. The Pitas! Yum! 6. Fanta Strawberry. And there's nothing to list that's negative. They have this fancy television that shows sports updates, movie listings in the area, and even displays artwork by local children. It's entertaining while waiting in line for your food. And the French Toast Sticks? Just order one. Because ONE = One order of Four sticks. Umm guess I should have read the menu. 2-stars. Visited this location yesterday, 3/16/17. We ordered the 3 taco meal and asked for sour cream packets. Counter girl added 49cent charge for the packets. When our order number was called we noticed no sour cream. We asked the folks behind the counter and they said they didn't have sour cream anymore! What's up with that? Had to ask for the 49cent refund, manager said counter girl was new and didn't know about the menu change. Worst Jack in the Box I've ever been to in my life. I was there 45 minutes, dining in, and in the first twenty minutes they brought me my order wrong! Over the course of the next 25 minutes they proceeded to bring me the wrong order 4 more times. Absolutely ridiculous. I was completely patient with the employees because they were training. Until getting the fifth sandwich back wrong. At that point I took the manager the sandwich and set it on the counter and said have a wonderful day. I have never felt a need for a YELP account until i visited this establishment last night. Long story short, I signed up for Yelp just to write this review. I have frequented Jack in the Box in the past and love the food. Last night I can say, I didn't even get the opportunity to experience the food. My girlfriend and I ended up turning in pretty late so we decided to go to Jack in the Box. She said they should be open its on 11:00 pm. So we get there and wait in the drive thru for 5 minutes to not be greeted at the speaker. So we drive around to the main window to be simply stared at with so response. At this point Im assuming they are closed. I then drove around to look up the hours and to my surprise I see they close at MIDNIGHT in bold letters. So I am assuming they are probably just trying to wrap up so i drove around the drive thru again to the window this time to be met by what appeared to be a manager with untucked shirt, pants near the ground and belt undone. I've seen you on TV and heard you on the radio and saw your bill boards, so when I actually drove by an actual restaurant, my curiosity did peak. If you must know, the thing that hooked me was the advertisements connecting to my secret or not so secret desire to engage in gluttony. Everyone is going to have their pet perks about a fast food joint....do you like Mcdonald's fries or Wendy's. Do you like that way a good times burger taste with the red onion or do you go with Carl's Jr big thick patty? Jack in the Box has potato wedge fries, which is a twist. I think you have to have a twist so you can capture a piece of the fast food loving market. Jack has a sirloin burger, but not something I would go drive out of the way for. Jack has shakes and Jack has tacos. Not sure I get cravings for tacos at the same time as burgers..?? In fact, if I do, I've got bigger problems. This particular Jack in the Box is new and has a self serve kiosk for down times and busy times, kind of cool. I don't live that close to Jack-in-the-Box but the one closest to me I've gone to a couple of times because the app offers coupons sometimes...Their app has been terrible to use in the past but I think it's getting better. But every single time I've gone to this location, my order is always missing something. I've asked is everything right on my order and they say yes but then when I pull away and leave the cheese is not on my burger or the wrong Soda was given or they never provide napkins. They must be struggling financially Or something because apparently giving out a napkin is too costly when you place an order. Just terrible... This comes from a guy who grew up in San Diego, eat jack in the box breakfast almost everyday on my way to school. Then I moved out to colo and was deprived of jack. They opened this location and I went bananas! I love it and it's a trip for me to get it. So I came today 3-28 at 830pm and it took 25 minutes to get my food, it was completely wrong, mayo all over it, mixed bag of curly and reg fries that were cold (I ordered curly) soda fountain not working correctly. This review is not so much about the food, as it is about the service. I ordered first. I asked for a number 6 meal. My wife wanted the Classic Buttery Jack and a Medium Drink. My daughter ordered the value chicken sandwich and a smoothie. While we waited, I was looking at the receipt and saw something I did not recognize. I went to the cashier and asked what it was. She said it was the Spicey Sriracha Burger. She said I had ordered the number 11. I told her I did not and that I would like the Jumbo Jack (number 6). My wife was not given her drink cup, so I told her my wife would like her drink cup so she could go get her drink. She pointed at my cup and said "I gave it to you". My wife then pointed at the receipt and showed her that we had paid for a second drink. She then gave my wife her cup, and began taking an order from another customer. When she finished with the other customer, I asked her if she would go ahead and give me the difference between the Buttery Classic and the Sriracha burger. She called over a manager to access the register, which made me think she never intended to refund the difference ($3.72). The manager was not rude, but also not very friendly. Maybe she was just busy. When we got in the car, we discovered we had a chicken sandwich that we had not ordered, in the bag, and two Jumbo Jacks (instead of a Jumbo Jack and a Buttery Classic) I still was not convinced that I had ordered incorrectly regarding the number 6/ number 11 issue, when I remembered her asking if I wanted cheese on my burger. The Sriracha Burger comes with cheese, so I am convinced that I ordered the number 6, she understood number 6, but incorrectly entered a number 11. No smile, no apology, no nothing. To be fair, my wife has eaten here before and not had problems with the people or service. So, if you like surprises, this is the place to eat. I will start by saying that I do not eat fast food very often- it is generally not very healthy and, in my opinion, not particularly tasty. With that being said, fast food is at least usually (and should be) easy to order and be prepared quickly, so as long as it meets these latter expectations (and is not absolutely disgusting), I am inclined to be satisfied and therefore generous in my review. Sadly, my food at this location met neither of those latter two expectations. I ordered the "turkey bacon cheddar grilled sandwich." On the overhead menu, that is exactly how the name appeared- there was no other written description. Even so, I am picky about my sauces, so I specifically asked the cashier "what sauce is on the sandwich?" He said he was "not sure," and took a minute to look it up (at least, that is what I assume- I saw him push some buttons on the screen in front of him). He distinctly told me "there is no sauce on it." I replied "good, I don't want any" and he completed the order, and I paid. Then, I waited...and waited...it took at least 15 minutes before my order was ready. I know that they "don't make it until you order it," but the sandwich was all I ordered, and there were only about four other customers in the whole place and I think only two of them were also waiting for their food (it was around 1:30 p.m.), plus I assume that the bread, turkey, and cheese were all pre-sliced, and the grill was already hot, so why did it take so long? Anyway, I could have very easily overlooked the time, BUT the worst part- there was sauce in the sandwich!! I had ordered it to go, and I had to be somewhere soon, and I was hungry, so I did not want to send it back and then have to wait another 15 minutes. Plus, they would have thrown it away, and I hate to see food wasted. Although not completely awful, I did not care for the sauce, so I scraped off as much as I could, and ate the sandwich (even though some of the sauce had soaked into the bread and I could still taste it). So...overall, my experience was not good- I know the name "turkey bacon cheddar grilled sandwich" is self-descriptive, but if there is a sauce on it, then either the menu should mention it or the cashier should know it (preferably both)- especially if the customer asks about it specifically! read more

I enjoy Jack in the Box but rarely go due to how slow slow the service is at this location. If I go I usually plan to wait in the drive through for at least twenty minutes even though it's rarely busy. The attitude of the employees is frequently bad. I have had multiple instances where I get to the window and have to listen to the staff argue about my order because someone didn't make something. Last the drive through is supposed to be open 24 hours, which is one of the main reasons I ever go since it's one of the few in the area, but frequently I'll go and it will be closed for no reason. I've worked in Golden for years now and this is the only fast food place within walking distance to my office. They were closed for months doing who knows what, opened back up, and then closed less than a week later again. I decided to give it one last try today, 8/24/16. The drive through line circled the whole parking lot at 1pm, cars couldn't get out, line took forever. Once I finally got my food, the fries were luke warm and so was the burger. I don't write Yelp reviews unless something really got to me. I would NOT recommend going to this location, other Jack in the Box's may be a lot better, but this one has been poorly run for what seems like the last couple of years. I would give them no stars if that was an option. I came here with my mother in law and brother in law (whom is 10) after a long day of driving and shopping. We came form 3 hours away. It was about 7:30pm and my mother in law ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl, but couldn't get it because they were not boiling rice(the guy working informed us he doesn't get many orders of rice so she couldn't get that. Then we tried to order something on the buy 1 get 1 1/2 off deal that was sent in a "text coupon" to my mother in laws phone.. the guy working said that management required that the coupons be physical even though they were advertising texts alerts for coupons right by the front counter. We had to sit at the bar by the bathroom because every single table was dirty and we were the only people in there. The bathrooms were disgusting and the staff was so rude!!! The worst Jack in the Box that I've been to. I am used to having a great experience at Jack in the Box so what happened at this one came as a bit of a shock to me. On the entrance door it shows that the dining room closes at 9pm. However, the doors were already locked at 8:25pm because the manager told employees to do so. It's understandable to close the doors 10-15 minutes early but this was just unacceptable. Therefore, I ordered through the drive thru. Once I got my food (after having to correct my order), the bread on my sandwich was soggy and I got minimal fries (seemed as if they ran out for the night and just didn't want to make more). On top of all of this there a sign on the window that says there is a 24 hour drive thru but that is not true because I saw people getting turned away after 9pm. A lot of false advertising going on when it comes to when this Jack in the Box is actually opened and the food just isn't nearly as great. There are plenty of other Jack in the Box locations in the Denver area so skip this one as it's not worth the hassle. read more
