This place is delicious! I heard great things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Not to say that on Wednesday kids eat free! We had plenty of pizza to go which was great considering that it's not cheap but totally worth it. Great customer service overall. Lots of parking. And great ambiance indoors and outdoor seating with some space for people to play on the side of the restaurant.

I can't believe I have now discovered Blue Pan Pizza. We came here for dinner and it was extremely busy. Luckily we only needed a table for 2 so we were seated right away (definitely longer if you have a bigger party - lots of families). The parking lot is small so you might end up parking on the streets or across at the bank (only when they're closed - don't be that person). The food was so good. The eggplant fries are different but quite yummy. I cannot remember the pizzas we got but they were very tasty. The whipped cheese on top was so delicious. You will definitely leave filling very full and we had extras. One pizza would be enough to feed 2. We ordered too much so brought it home for leftovers.

Stopped in with the family for pizza last night. I'd called ahead to check on the wait- 2 littles past their normal meal time + a wait = . I spoke to a really nice guy on the phone, and we headed over. Our server was nice as well. The restaurant was clean (my 5 yo said the bathrooms were VERY fancy- not sure what he meant but thought I'd include it as he was impressed) but it was very loud. We got one of the bruschetta apps and the Brooklyn Bridge Detroit style (our favorite from the Highlands location we used to frequent). It was as tasty as ever. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great food, great service, ambiance was solid and plenty of parking. Ordered a Detroit style large pizza for $23.00 but you can split it for two flavors! Decided on the Brooklyn Bridge and Prospector. Flavors were good overall just lacking a little bit of salt. A large was too much for two people to finish in one sitting so was able to bring it home and reheat. Love that they have instructions on the box to reheat it. Nice and crispy on the second day and not dried out!

Service was fantastic. Great pizza joint. We tried both a Detroit and Tavern style pizza. Both are good for different reasons. My favorite is still a thin crust. And gotta add honey where you can. This particular location reminds me of a former Wendy's.

Great spot for a weekday lunch deal! You can get a salad, large corner slice of Detroit style pizza (cheese, pepperoni, or rotating daily special), and a non-alcoholic drink for less than $15. A great deal I'm this economy! The server was nice and food came out surprisingly quickly (full disclosure the place was not busy during a Monday lunch hour)

Called in for a large half and half pizza to go around 7pm on a Friday. Half Sweety Pie and the other half Brooklyn Bridge. It was a 30 min pick up time, which was honestly pretty fast for a busy night! It was a quick and easy pick up and nice to see they keep pick up orders in a food warmer until you get there so everything stays hot. The inside of Blue Pan was busy but felt very cozy with the warm lighting and music playing on the speakers. Pizza stayed hot during the 12 minute drive home and was delicious! The amount of ingredients was good, the dough was fluffy and crisp on the edges and the presentation just makes for a good looking pizza. These pizzas are pricey but nice to treat yourself to every so often since I can't deny how good they taste!

Stellar pizza! We had the Parma Italia and the Brooklyn bridge, both Detroit style, and we were blown away but the flavor. Love the crusty cheese on the perfectly cooked crust, although it was a little dense. The best part of both were the chunks of cheese- ricotta on the Brooklyn bridge and burrata on the Parma italia. Highly highly recommend and this will probably be our new go to pizza place.

    Deep dish Tomato Pie

We had a chicago style, NY style pizza and eggplant parm. Everything was amazing! The service was great and we were seated quickly. I would highly recommend!

Fast service. Detroit style "Louie" had roasted tomatoes, spinach and sausage in perfect ratios. I had it with a root beer and it perfectly complimented it. Nice patio seating also. I was craving good pizza and this fit the bill. Don't forget to ask them what the monthly special was. I forgot and saw it afterwards, but I would've loved to try a pizza with peaches on it.

Such a good option for some ZA. It's not right on the main street in downtown, but if you're looking for good food venture just a tad further and get some Detroit Style Pizza at Blue Pan! The service was good, the place had no line which was awesome, and the food was awesome. They even allow kids to "make their own pizza" with dough, sauce and cheese which the kiddos loved.

Blue Pan is such a gem, if you're a pizza fan. They've got options and we def needed them with 4 picky eaters in our party of seven. Seating? We waited for less than 5 short minutes and were sat in their enclosed patio. Our servers were friendly and patient - it's small details like this that always catch my eye when I'm with larger parties. The entire process of ordering and keeping things topped off was great. We never had to ask for anything. They happily spilt our check as well and took great care of us. And now, let's talk pizza. My guy and I ordered the smaller Detroit style pizzas: 3-1-3 and Prospector. These are gigantic and we def took away left overs despite doing our best to tackle these. Both were so tasty yet different. Fresh ingredients made all the difference. I'm a fan of fresh arugula on my pizzas and if you've not considered it, the 3-1-3 has your name on it. What's maybe my favorite thing about the Detroit style pizza, aside from it being deep dish, is the cheesy goodness baked into the crust. Both pizzas were fabulous when we had them there and later as leftovers. And if deep dish isn't your jam, check out the NY style. They've got you covered. Their cocktails were great as well. Lots of craft beer options and wine as well. Overall, if pizza's your thing, you need to add Blue Pan to your list.

Kids can make their own pizza.

This place is a must! The pizza was excellent and I'll be craving it days from now. The Detroit style pizza was light and airy and very flavorful. Be sure to check out the seasonal pizza. Kids were able to order ingredients and make their own pizza which they thought was super fun and occupied their time. Staff was very friendly. We sat on the covered/screened in outdoor area. Make sure to ask for honey, hot honey, or a variety of homemade ranches to dip your pizza into. Also bathrooms are non-gender specific and clean. Can't wait for my next trip here!

The pizza was fantastic and we took it to go and ate it at the house. We did however spend an exorbitant amount of money for pizza!

Solid 5 stars for a buffet (probably a solid 4 just as a pizza place)…read more This is our second time stopping here on vacation -- going back to Woody's was actually one of the reasons we wanted to hit Golden again. It's on the south side of the main downtown drag. It gets quite busy even at off-peak times, so there's usually a wait of some kind. Head up to the door, get on their list, and they'll call you when your seats are ready. We got a little lucky since there were only two of us and there was open bar seating -- we sat at the bar, had a beer, and did the pizza buffet from there. It's not just a buffet, either. You can order off the menu, get your own personal pizza, or do a two-slice-and-a-salad deal, which is a cheaper version if you don't want the unlimited all-you-can-eat. They also have a full-service bar with cocktails, beer, and everything else you'd want. Salad bar -- one of the best buffet-type salad bars I've found. It's not the largest -- the salad section doesn't go on for miles, it's actually a pretty small setup -- but everything is fresh and the range of ingredients is big. Fresh salads, multiple dressings, several crunchy toppings, a bunch of vegetables, black olives, peppers, and two or three different proteins to add. Really, really like it. Also included with the salad bar buffet is their beer soup -- kind of a cheese soup. I skipped it this time since I didn't want to get that full, but I've had it in the past and it's super solid. Definitely something to try on a cold day. Pizza buffet, under $20/person -- there's a window with all the pizza sitting out, usually four to six at a time, right behind where they're making and cooking them. You can walk up and request whatever you'd like -- the chefs are right there, so you can say "hey, can I get a barbecue chicken pizza?" and they'll put one together and set it in the window. The range is usually about three normal pizzas -- pepperoni, supreme, plain cheese -- and three odder ones, like a buffalo chicken or a beef barbecue cheddar. I also saw one with ricotta and prosciutto. So they're not just doing standard pies; there's a really big range to choose from. The pizza quality is good. I wouldn't call it super thin crust, and it's not super thick where the toppings are -- but the edge of the crust is a thicker, doughy handle you can grip and gnaw on, and it's very tender and flavorful. If you're a crust eater, you'll like this crust, and you can dip it in sauces or dressings from the salad bar. Service was top notch and everybody there was friendly. One thing that stood out: the bartender asked the guy sitting next to us if everything was good, and he said he was just waiting on a buffalo chicken pizza. She called straight over to the kitchen and had them cook one. They still put it out on the buffet, but he got exactly what he wanted. Pro tip: Under $20 a person might sound like a lot, but come hungry and it's a steal. I ate probably fourteen slices -- I drove down here with the intent to get full, and it wasn't a bad full. Highly suggest going, and I'd return if I find myself in Golden, Colorado again.

If I lived here (Denver) I would pretty much live here (Woody's)…read more The soup, salad, and pizza combo buffet is where it's AT! The beer cheese soup is where it's AT!
