I don't know what happened to this Jack in the box. Used to be real good with your food hot & fresh but it's not anymore. Also, 3 nights in a row I tried coming after a long day of work and the lady says "Sorry I can't take any orders right now, our system is updating" she didn't really seem apologetic at all, I could see employees just sitting in the dining room eating. Which makes me think she's lying about it. I mean if it's going to take 45 minutes to update, then at least block off your drive-thru so you don't waste people's time.I swear a bunch of incompetent people work here. There was a time a couple weeks ago where I was the only one to enter the drive-thru around 10pm, this lady tells me to hold on, I end up waiting 15 minutes for her to acknowledge me again but by that time 6 cars have lined up behind me. I usually go here for breakfast. The past 3 times I have went my order has been wrong or items forgotten. Luckily I don't pull off, I've just parked and went inside to have it fixed. Which defeats the purpose of the drive thru in the first place. I always go from 6-7am and it's always the same woman at the drive thru. Seems like she's the only person taking orders at that time. My husband stopped going bc they always gave him the wrong order. Today her excuse was, "It's too early, sorry." Once, I stood at the front counter for about 5 minutes and had to ask a man who seemed to be doing some maintenance to go and get her for me because she was on her phone and not paying attention. I would give 0 stars if i could. This place always messes up orders and gives such a hard time to customers. Literally came in to ask for a replacement kamaaina card and they make me wait like 10 minutes for them to say they don't have any. They're doing other orders they messed up but there was only one customer that ordered before I stood in line. Everyone else in the store had their food and was eating. It's so aggravating because there's like 5-6 people working and none of them could multitask. No one was able to say "we ran out" like they were only making a jumbo platter...?? When they were able to come out the manager goes "oh we ran out already. It runs out fast.. yeah...." like no apology for making me wait. Won't be returning to this location. Smh. I was going to give them 2 stars because my order had way more things than I actually ordered. I thought she was going to take off one of the platters but come out she didn't really speak good English. She was very polite tho, hence the added star. I was wondering why my bill was so high but I was in such a hurry to get to work i checked it after. She also was very confused about the biscuit breakfast sandwich. When I had asked if they had the sausage biscuit sandwich, she replied they don't serve biscuits. Then I clarified if they had the sandwich with sausage and biscuit but no response so I thought that I had asked a dumb question seeing "they don't serve biscuits". Then I showed her my phone and asked if they had that sandwich, she had to check her screen. I'm only giving this place 1 star because it won't let me write a review without any stars. Avoid this place if you can. Terrible customer service. I stood in store for 10mins while 3 people were working the drive thru. Every single one of them ignored me for the whole 10 mins. I could even hear people yelling "Hello? Hello?" on the drive thru intercom. Not sure at this point what was going on. Another lady walked in and we both tried hard to catch their attention even called out for help but no response. If you're not able to work the drive thru and the restaurant at the same time, put up a sign so you don't waste peoples time. The staff here are extremely rude. They are also not 24hrs. The last three nights we've attempted to go through the drive-thru and they said they were closed over the spear after waiting for a while, then while pulling out of the drive- thru, all of the employees were sitting in booths inside playing on their phones. MENU FAVORITES: 1) Thanks to Jack, as he has given the world one of the best (and cheapest!) fast food items: 2 tacos for 99 cents. Of course, you do get what you pay for, but in this case these 2 tacos (with free taco sauce) will satisfy anyone's hunger pains for sure. 2) Chicken Sandwich: Although it's not the best or tastiest menu item, one can't argue with a sandwich priced less $1.50. 3) Jr. Jack: This probably comparable to the Whopper Jr., just not with all the vegetables. Still, it's not bad. 4) Value Fries: Priced at 99 cents, this is definitely a value if you're running low on cash. SERVICE: The drive thru staff are polite, quick, and always make sure to ask if your order is correct on the screen before providing you with a total. I've always had (thankfully) my correct order in my bag when picking up my food from the window. And hopefully it stays that way. So tonight I went to jack in the box And ordered a bunch of food. For one they had made us wait about 10 minutes to get our food. When our food did come or tacos were soggy and we had brought it home and continued our night, when we finally came and ate our food where it's circled there was a hair sticking out of one of the parts of the curly fries. That old saying to check your order before you leave the Drive Thru is a must at this location! First off I had 3 separate bags, which they bagged, that had NO napkins. Secondly, I did not get my receipt and lastly my Siracha burger was the coldest and hardest sandwich ever. The cheese was not even melted. I promptly called back since I didn't take heed of the old saying and voiced my displeasure with the supervisor. He told me to come back which I did. I told him all the issues and he said he would replace the whole order. I told him to just replace my order of the Siracha combo. Been coming here since its close to work. Couple months ago, i noticed that my tacos and fries taste like old or burnt oil. Gave them chances again and order twice over the period of 3 months and still the same. All the fried foods (egg roll, fries and tacos) taste like burnt or old oil. I just got home from picking up a Crispy Club Salad and a 3 pc Stuffed Jalapeno. The wait was decent in the drive thru, however this isnt about that. Upon opening my salad, everything looked good. Come to find out that every piece of green is either browning or turning into water. The middle of the cucumbers wern't even there due to melting or rotting or something. the only thing that ended up being edible is the meat and tomatoes. I mean one can always call and go back for a refund or exchange or a complaint, but lets be real people, you go thru the drive thru because you have places to be and more than likely are going someplace. Now I know when I order these tacos I can't expect all the things.... however how about some of the things like meat? There was maybe 1 teaspoon of meat in two of my tacos and zero in one of them. I am so freaking pissed on how my food turned out here. I live just around the corner and came by around 7-7:30 pm. Served by a lady in a pink shirt. I have never been served the nastiest curly fries ever! It looks like they gave me bits and pieces from the bottom of the fryer or leftovers under theyre heat lamp. To top that my chicken sandwhich was cold to the touch and when i took a bite you could totally tell this chicken was old. It was tough as well...the jumbo jack was just so cold ... I took it upon myself to rip down the "store hours" sign at the door because it's clearly meaningless. Came today, a Saturday night, at 9:55pm. The cashier waited until 10:01pm and then told the long line "10pm, we closed". Putting aside the fact the cashier waited 5 minutes to avoid serving anyone, the posted sign outside says the store lobby closes at midnight on Saturday (and Friday) nights. Therefore, the store hours have been removed because on two occasions within one week the staff don't hon them The individual staff who work here are great. Just picked lunch today Sept 3 @ 12:30pm and what a total disappointment. You can tell the fries were old and had been under the lights for awhile, but to make it worse, they were put back into the fryer because they were all burn't and really chewie which ONLY happens when you do that. Waited in the drive through without moving for over an hour, by the time we got to the front the reason was "we literally burnt all the fried foods and have to change all the oil." While mistakes happen they made no effort to clear the drive through so customers could leave if they wanted, ex: "pull to the parking lot and we'll bring you your food," so people aren't stuck in a drive through where they can't leave. Had to change my order due to the mistake. No one moves with a sense of purpose. Then finally get home and the bread for my wife's sandwich has mold. Love jack in the box, hate this location.
