At about 10pm to 11pm, I waited like 10 minutes to finally place my order, when I got to the window the heavy set lady told me there was no order for me, I was confused, then I said please place the order now then, she said I had to go around and re order again, I kept asking why it wasn't my mistake, she then shut the window on me, instead of helping the situation it made it worse. I've always been a big Jack in the Box fan and it's been a while since I've had some since I've been working out of the country for a while. Didn't eat inside but I went through the Drive Thru. I got the sourdough jack, two tacos, and some curly fries! Wow, they did not disappoint! Everything tasted as great as I remembered! Burger was nice and juicy and the bread was toasted to perfection. Tacos were spot on and flavorful and the fried had the perfect crunch! To top it all off, the worker was super kind and friendly and was very patient when I asked him what kind of sauces they had. Went to the Jack in the box today (1/10/25 @ 130pm) and when I walked in, I noticed there were signs that advised the restrooms were for customers only. I advised the lady who had a head set on, tending the drive thru customers that I needed the key. She nodded back and continued her business. Another patron with kids, later advised her that he also needed the restroom key. She gave him the key first and advised me that the restroom was for customers only and I needed to buy something first not knowing that my husband was waiting at the register. She was completely rude and yelling and I pointed to my husband who was standing at the register waiting to purchase something. Needless to say, we will never come back to this location! WORST EVER! I came in through the drive thru ordered as normal. Asked for lemonade. Cashier says we don't have lemonade and I said what do you have she said everything... I said clearly not can you let me know what you have and she got upset and started naming drinks and I said I'll take ginger ale. When we got to the window she was rude, slammed the window. And went on when I got my drink it tasted like straight bleach. So I tested the drink with a strip and it tested positive. I called the establishment. They refused to help and say they have cameras. The worst Jack in the Box i have ever been to. Pull up to the drive through speaker, sat there for a few mins then i finally said "hello" and was told to hold on, only one car at the drive through window ahead of me, not busy in the store for walk ups. Finally was able to give my simple order of 4 tacos and a regular fry, get home just a min from the restaurant and my tacos are cold and stale, fries are cold. What is happening to customer service and quality of food these days??? I get that it may not be your ideal job but you are being paid, you could at least acknowledge a customer when they pull up and not have them have to say "hello" first and if your not that busy why am i getting stale cold food???? It's nice that there is a Jack-in-the-Box right next to the freeway and tethered to it's next-door neighbor, an AM / PM gas station with good gas prices. But I just rolled through today and wanted an iced coffee--which actually tastes pretty good for a fast food place. The drive-thru moved along at a good pace and the employees looked decent. My complaint? The curly fries came out almost blackened from the dirty grease they are using in there. I have been employed at restaurants several times during my long, illustrious life of crappy jobs to support 2 kids and make ends meet. I know when something is fried in fresh oil, it is supposed to come out looking GOLDEN, not charred to death. I pulled out the long curly fries that I love so much and then offered the rest to my birds.
