Here currently. Every single table has crumbs on it, floor is sticky. We've been waiting over 30 minutes for our food; us and probably 10 other people standing here. Absolutely ridiculous. We did two of the $10 munchie boxes. The tacos were absolutely disgusting. They tasted like they had been reheated and the lettuce inside was very soggy and they were greasy and did not taste good at all. Which was disappointing because I've had the tacos at a different location and they are usually good. The chicken sandwich also had no taste and didn't seem like it was cooked properly. I definitely would not get it again. The curly fries were not fresh at all. The burger was just OK. Was so excited to see Jack in the Box come to this area.. being from around the STL area I've always loved Jack and couldn't wait for my husband to try it. We went a couple mths after they 1st opened, sat inside cause the drive thru was still insane... the tables were gross, the food took at least 30 mins and sitting inside there's no excuse for cold food. We TRY going again tonite, sat in the drive thru for 10 mins and in that time not one car moved forward. This is fast food people... y'all need to get it together!! Find new staff... get corp in there and fix this sh*t before you end up having to shut it down! read more

Well I waited the 2 1/2-3 months for the lines to go down. Service was fine it was very nice, but in the end the sourdough breakfast sandwich was extremely mediocre. But I have it again yeah I guess so if I needed to but I wouldn't seek it out. I will stop back to try the burgers and see if there are any better but basically the breakfast stuff is 2 1/2 stars which means it's basically average, nothing special. read more

First time we went there. Discovered you actually use an ordering machine instead of talking to a worker. Ok, that went smoothly. Now, the wait for the food. Besides us there were 6-7 other customers. One apparently had been there a very long time, and wanted to cancel his order, they told him no! Another man came in to pick up his order sitting on some shelves, but it wasn't there, so he told a worker and she said she put it out. Apparently someone STOLE it! The worker refused to remake it! After waiting a few weeks until the lines died down, we went to dine inside. I grew up on the tacos, and was extremely excited. We ordered a jumbo jack meal, tacos, and egg rolls. Being busy one would assume the food would be hot. Everything except the fries was cold.No sauces for anything were offered. The iced teas were empty. It's only been open a couple of weeks, and the buzz is real. The drivethru line was insane, so I decided to brave the inside. They've got this thing where they only let a few families in at a time,a bit of a wait in a small, not air conditioned area, but hey, at least the staff were super friendly and even offered us water while we waited. The girl taking orders was a nice. We tried a bunch of stuff,the egg rolls were good, but the sauced and loaded tiny tacos were amazing,definitely a must try. They were out of curly fries, bummer, but the regular fries were better than Burger King's, which is saying something. The stuffed jalapeños were a bit of a miss,they came out cold, and the cheese hadn't melted. The burgers were decent. The bacon and Swiss buttery smashed jack was pretty good, but the double jack needed a little something extra , some sauce or seasoning would have kicked it up a notch. The sriracha honey sauce helped, but it still felt a bit plain. The buttery smashed jack was the best burger, especially after I added some jalapeños. The bun on all the burgers was a little thick, though. The ranch chicken sandwich was crispy and tasty. Overall, the food was pretty good, but I wouldn't exactly go out of my way for it. It's worth a try if you're in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for it. read more

This is a first. Wanted to eat inside. The front and only dor was locked. There were workers behind the counter and customers in the lobby. No one came to unlocked the door. So got back in the car and drove to the drive thru. I asked the kid who asked for my order why the front door was locked. He said he didn't know. So back to the front door. This time it was unlocked and we walked in. There were two families in the sit down area. We used the self service kiosk to start our order. The teen behind the counter said the lobby was closed. I asked what he meant. The manager stepped forward and explained that she was short handed and therefore they could only take orders via the drive thru. I said I was using the kiosk to order and so I wouldn't be using an employee to order. She said she was the only one cooking the food. I asked if I used the drive thru, I could place an order. She said yes. I then asked if I could place my order using the non-contact kiosk. She said no, she was too busy to watch two moniters of orders. This was my third visit in two weeks. The first row visits were great. I am not sure there will be a fourth. This place just opened in July 2025. I doubt if it will last to its one year anniversary. read more

This place is awful, I came a couple weeks ago and they wouldn't even take my order unless I was DoorDash or Uber Eats. The manager tried give us a free meal to make up for it but our order was only half right this time. The sourdough jack wasn't even cooked right and my tacos weren't supposed to have sauce and they did. The restaurant had things all over most of the tables and wasn't very clean. Waited 15 minutes to order with the place empty. Tried to overcharge for a meal that I know was $2 cheaper. HORRIBLE service.

Online ordering doesn't work here so you can't view the menu. Can't use the 20 percent off because of no online ordering. Employee at drive through is clueless. I wanted to do the September $1 donation for a curly fry and she asked if I had a coupon. Numerous employees with long hair and only one had a hair net. The drive thru is a miserable experience, the teenager working it can't hear at all. I was speaking very clearly and had to constantly repeat myself. Also, they were sold out of tacos and there was no mention of that anywhere (no signs, no anything), until I got to the speaker. So that was fun. Not allowing for zero stars makes it harder to rate this place. Went last night (Saturday). Was told they were not taking any more guests. Cones blocking the drive-thru and a guard at the door apologizing for following the manager's orders to halt visitors. Really? It was 9:30, with a posted closing time of 10:00 (and signs on the building boasting of being open "late"). Given we live several miles from the location, this was beyond inconvenient. I have seen several posts attesting to horrible service at this location, but decided to try it anyway - my mistake. Can't attest to the accuracy of the multiple bad food reviews, but it wouln't surprise me given how this outlet is being run. If corporate allows this behavior to continue it will likely lead to damage to their brand. If this is a franchise, maybe the owner should consider another line of work. read more

Went there a couple of weeks ago to see what the hype was all about and it will be my first and last visit. I ordered the Buttery Smashed Burger Combo. Overcooked, dry, flavorless burger. I've had better burgers from gas stations. The biggest disappointment was the fries. Absolutely the worst French Fries I've ever eaten. With this location being new, I can overlook any issues with service. But bad food will keep me away. read more

Arrived and discovered the front door was locked, I was told the dining area was closed and to use the drive thru. The line was long but I obliged, I have never been here and wanted to try. So I had to drive around to get in line as I was the 11th car back I assumed it would be just a few extra minutes. After 20 minutes and only one car got service I actually called the restaurant and was told that they didn't have enough people working and will probably close in a few minutes and I could come back tomorrow. The Plainfield, Illinois location is by far the slowest, most unprofessional, and most disorganized Jack in the Box I've ever encountered. I don't understand what the issue is and why there is ALWAYS a long line and wait. I'm not pleased and may discontinue patronizing this location. I have given this place three times to be semi decent. The first time because it was new the lines were long and I sort of understood it. Even though it took five minutes for each car it is what it is. The second time after a month went by, shorter lines, but still took five minutes per car. I went inside thinking it may be quicker and there were 10 people still waiting for the order. I placed my order in after 20 minutes. It came and it was still somehow cold even though I was inside. A few months went by and I thought I would try it again one last time...unfortunately, the exact same thing. Two cars in the drive-through ahead of me and I waited 10 minutes until I couldn't stand it. I walked inside just to check it out and there was no one in line and just employees talking to each other, not caring at all about people in line. Too many other choices and the food is average at best. I guess I can see why they were forced to leave town last time. Three strikes and you're out! read more

Really bad experience. We were super excited to try this place as it is in our neighborhood, only to be disappointed. We were in line for an hour and when we went to order, they didn't have any tacos. They advertise on their t-shirt "The burger place known for their tacos". We ordered burgers and mine was supposed to have bacon on it and it was a small almost transparent piece that was literally like 1"x 2" size. The burger was rubbery. Yuck. There are a ton of other options out there. If it was under $10 for both value meals, I would understand that you get what you pay for, but this was $28 and sorry, but we will not be back. Absolutely terrible. This may be called Jack in the Box but save yourself the disappointment. Until they get some good help this place is toxic. Fries were stale and cold.
